1. Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names

   Hi guys, I have a suggestion for you developers,
   Could you make as a Show and Hide Option the "Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names" which is black in color,
   And it's always there on the top left and it's huge and it covers a lot of the nav screen, top left, Could you make it like some sort of show and hide option.
   This Information-Indicative Panel is rarely used and is not suitable to be always present on the display especially during long distances.
   This black Information-Indicator panel is rarely used. If possible, please make the direction arrows AS TRANSPARENT ARROWS ON THE HIGHWAY CONTOURS for the current traffic, but let them also be optional.
   Could you also make the background, text and arrow color as selectable option to implement for users, May it be more successful and attractive Waze.

   I use Sidjik and Waze in Europe and Bulgaria,
   This offer is important for many users, according to reviews in the Internet community,
   I don't know why everyone wants this proposal to be introduced but no one has informed you yet.
   I understand that old telephones and radio navigation systems were short on memory and disk space, and applications had to be pruned.
   But this has changed dramatically in the last few years, Telephones and Radio-Navigations have become powerful computers that can handle large volumes of information, games, movies and lots of color and endless options..
   And it all depends on you guys, Put more options for us to enjoy your navigation. Let's make Ways successful and attractive to all of us.

2. Motorcycle based map and speed display scale and legibility.

   I have 5" carplay units on both of my motorcycles. (no this is not a display size issue). My preferred map software in carplay, is Waze, as I want the most crowdsourced information such as cops, traffic, construction, etc. My only problem on the motorcycle with carplay/Waze display is that the map is way too FINE and small print, the speed is too small, and red/black which are fairly impossible to read as they're both dark colors.

   My ask, and idea, and suggestion... either basically control over the display SIZE to make the fonts and boldness of the roads and road names much more significant. and control over the speed display to be larger, and display colors. -or- a motorcycle mode, which prioritizes those things knowing that the display may be somewhat small, 5 or 7" are the only ones for motorcycles. and it's going to be vibrating a bit, and the rider is in a helmet, with visor or some sort of vision disturbance other than none/glasses_only.

   The current version of carplay/waze for motorcycle use is , not usable. Even in cases where I know what street is coming up im looking for, there's no way I can see it on the mc carplay unit waze map. not not bc size... bc the display is a "fine line" and a small fine font.

   There is a motorcycle avatar icon to use, idk if you choose that it could auto-adapt the display to something motorcycle oriented with large bold font, thick bold street lines, and large high-contrast speed information., that would be really great. or separate controls, either way... please. pretty please LOL =)

4. Useless information

   Dear on duty!
   I drive a lot to work and back. Hours each day. Mostly, I use the app to foresee road blocks so I could re-route through back roads that even Waze doesn't know about.
   But I get a lot of useless notifications like "left lane blocked" or "fog". These notifications are pointing out the obvious. You wasted time programming, I wasted time reading it. This morning the app told me "bad weather"! This flipped my lid off. Like what? I'll explain.
   How do you measure good or bad? Bad for who? It's latitude 59, it's December. I'd say +7C is not bad weather. Yes, it's off statistics (it should be -10C), but it's not bad. It could be sleeting sideways. It was just dark and rainy. Get over it!
   The information I need is the kind that makes me make decisions as I drive. Stuff like potholes, dead bodies, zombies, vegans, accidents ahead - those fleeting hazards. My eyes are fine, checked by doctors - I can see it's foggy. Typically I saw that fog hours before your notification - your notification is hours late. I can see the left lane block miles before your pop-up thing. There are traffic signs, remember?
   I know people like to report, post, and share everything they see, it gives them some sort of satisfaction. A little good deed per day - I reported poor weather on Waze (Go Karen!). Keep the possibility, but don't show it to everyone driving by.
   What you can do with the obvious information is push it out in advance. When I tap "drive me Home" on the screen, it then plans my route. And now it could come back with a notification covering the possible hazards on the planned route - traffic jams, slippery road, poor visibility, etc. I can make decisions before I hit the road. I can take a phone call home warning that I may be late for dinner due to poor road condition.
   Every piece of information has value, but the timing must be correct, otherwise it's just noise.

5. Radio/TV station badges

   As a radio station owner/presenter, I remember back in 2018 when I last had my station running, looking forward to having my station as part of a wazers badge.

   When wazers used to be able to choose the badge to wear on the map of their favourite station and wear it across the map with pride.

   Could you bring this back? The old W on Air used to be an amazing feature too if you could do something like that also?

7. Screen Alerts South London Restrictions

   Please, please provide Camera alerts for as short as one hour road entry restrictions eg in rush hour times in London. Results in PCN fines of £65. These experimental road layout changes are frequently changing (over the last 3-4 years) and the simple “Speed camera” type alerts which pop up on the screen would be really really useful! Waze plans the route well to avoid I believe, but we are sometimes tempted to ignore, thinking we know better!
   As experienced London drivers know, we have favourite routes developed over a lifetime, so these time-based one or two hour restrictions are a money-making opportunity that Waze is perfectly placed to help drivers with!

8. Functionality requests

   • For the online version -
     Need to be able to add and manage saved favorites just like on GMaps.
     Need to be able to see my saved places on the map just like on GMaps.

   • For the in-car version -
     Need to be able to touch a spot on the map and save it as a favourite or navigate to it or add it to the route Just like on Google Maps.
     Need to be able to touch on a map icon and get more info about what it is, ie a crash, speed camera etc.
     For alerting other drivers about road conditions, you need to add "Debris on Road" as an option.
     When adding an alert on the live map, need to be able to choose exactly where the alert is and NOT where my car is right now. Remember, we're driving and need to focus on what we're doing to get through the hazard. This is how I'd like to able to do it - Tap the warning triangle, choose the hazard from the list, tap the map for it's location. Then allow up to 10 seconds for me to be able to cancel in case I've made a mistake.
     The way it is now, I couldn't be bothered to submit because it's not worth the hassle and it's behind me now.

   • For the App version -
     After touching a point on the map, menu options need to include; Go here, Save as a favourite, and (if currently on a drive) Add as a way-point and Go here Instead. Hiding them in Preview Location makes for a complicated and unintuitive experience.

   • For the online version -

   I do have a few somethings else ….

   1)I need the directions to reference something I see out the window. I don’t care if the locals call it “Webster-Basin-Springs RD” …. what’s on the road sign is State 333 off of US 60 South west of Irvington, **. You’ll need google maps/apple maps to find this reference. Waze only shows the name which cannot be seen on the road.

   Waze CONSTANTLY uses a reference which is NOT on the roadway signs.

   2) Nuther complaint: “where to” tap doesn’t persist when moving. So I get penalized with needing more attention to the app while driving than “just a glance.” Let it persist like it does when I’m not moving.

   3) I expect this probably involves some sort of payment, but finding destinations is hardly easy. So what I have to do is use the apple or google map to search for fuel stations I want to use and then copy the address, enter it into a non-persistent ‘goto’ field.

   4) need to restore the ability to easily update the speed limit. Used to be “tap the speedometer” to open a correction … now unable to correct as far as I know.

   5) It has “opt out” of a toll road. It also needs to be aware of the vehicle … are we able to “turn around” on a narrow residential street with driveways the only alternative to BACKING onto a highway … or are we a truck/trailer combination which needs a roadway? motorcycle, sports car, sedan, SUV/Truck, Truck-Trailer.

   6) perhaps ability to easily update the max speed for accurate ETA. On this last trip (towing an RV) … I didn’t run the 75 mph speed limit.

   7) Finally … how about a selectable chime only for when approaching a turn (with selectable lead time) in the computed direction or add a chime for an alert? Waze reads-off 5 different roadway names, so I mute the sound.

   I use Waze for speed limits, roadway condition alerts, traffic, police, etc. It’s been superior there, but it needs to be refined by someone who wears glasses when they used to have “x-ray vision" and has seen more than 3 POTUS election cycles … as a registered voter. when I zoom in to read a street name, the letters need to enlarge.

   appreciate your work … I just returned from a 900 plus mile one way drive. Got a lot of work with this app, and these shortcomings were evident repeatedly.

10. Show icon when entering and exiting the danger zone on the map

    Hello,

    Would it be possible to improve the announcement of danger zones for France (because in our country, announcing the precise location of speed cameras is prohibited!)?

    The ideal would be to have an icon when you enter and another icon when you leave a danger zone in addition to the voice announcement and the small frame at the top left.
    If we could also have on the road, a color associated with danger zones as in the style of traffic announcements, to best indicate the duration of the zone.

    Other applications like Tomtom do so why not Waze!

    Est- ce qu'il serait possible d'améliorer l'annonce des zones de danger pour la France (car chez nous, annoncer l'emplacement précis des radars est interdit!)?

    L'idéale serait d'avoir une icône quand on entre et une autre icône quand on sort d'une zone de danger en plus de l'annonce vocale et du petit cadre en haut à gauche.
    Si on pouvait avoir également sur la route, une couleur associée aux zones de danger comme dans le style des annonces de trafic, pour indiquer au mieux la durée de la zone.

    D'autres applications comme chez Tomtom le font alors pourquoi pas Waze!

    Wäre es möglich, die Anzeige von Gefahrenzonen für Frankreich zu verbessern (denn in unserem Land ist die genaue Anzeige von Blitzerstandorten verboten!)?

    Ideal wäre neben der Sprachansage und dem kleinen Rahmen oben links ein Icon beim Betreten und ein weiteres Icon beim Verlassen einer Gefahrenzone.
    Wenn wir auch auf der Straße eine Farbe haben könnten, die Gefahrenzonen wie im Stil von Verkehrsdurchsagen zugeordnet ist, um die Dauer der Zone am besten anzuzeigen.

    Andere Anwendungen wie Tomtom machen das, warum also nicht Waze!

    Lo ideal sería tener un icono cuando entras y otro icono cuando sales de una zona de peligro además del anuncio de voz y el marco pequeño en la parte superior izquierda.
    Si pudiéramos tener también en la carretera, un color asociado a las zonas de peligro al estilo de los anuncios de tráfico, para indicar mejor la duración de la zona.

    Otras aplicaciones como Tomtom lo hacen, ¿por qué no Waze?

    Estive na Suiça, e ao traçar uma rota até Milão, em nenhum momento informou que na rota, pegariamos um trem (de carro, obviamente). Na primeira tivemos sorte que o trem saiu em cinco minutos. Mas no trem seguinte, o trem ia sair dentro de uma hora. Não tínhamos esse tempo sobrando. Tracei a rota no dia anterior e como o Waze informou que levaria apenas três horas, não planejamos mais que isso e no dia seguinte tivemos q surpresa. Só quando chegamos no trem que percebemos que seria de trem. Sugiro que assim como fazem com balsa, deveria avisar que você irá, de carro, pegar um trem. E também avisar os valores, pois os custos são altos. Obrigada

    Olá pessoal! Recentemente, notei que em algumas rotas no Waze, as atualizações de tráfego não estão sendo refletidas de forma precisa ou rápida, especialmente em áreas mais movimentadas. Seria ótimo se pudéssemos sugerir melhorias na precisão do monitoramento de tráfego em tempo real, principalmente para grandes cidades. Isso ajudaria muito na hora de escolher a melhor rota. Alguém mais tem sentido essa dificuldade ou gostaria de sugerir algo para melhorar a funcionalidade?Também percebi esse problema nas atualizações de tráfego do Waze, e às vezes parece que estou apostando na sorte, como no Lucky Jet https://fogueteaposta.com/lucky-jet/ , esperando que a melhor rota apareça no último segundo! 14. Own tabs in/under the Favorite bar and sharing of them

    Own tabs in/under the Favorite bar.
    Possibility to create more tabs under the Favorite bar it would be great for easy searching.
    Example:
    Today under the Favorite bar you can save just places with address.
    I would appreciate to have possibility to create my own tabs.
    Example of tabs: Family, Diving spots, Sport centers, Shopping centers, Mountains, Camps, Restaurants, ... and then I will save place with address under my own tab.
    Keep General/Global Favorit bar where will be Home and Job place on the first position.The searching of my places will be more easy ;-)
    And if you add functionality of sharing this tabs with other clients it will be best ;-)

15. where to start, what book(s)??Industrial automation

    Hi guys, I've just registered here great forum, lot's of info.

    I'm confused as to where to start to learn from scratch, what book(s) to buy? what i am after is a industrial robot ( not hobbylike robot that just walks, way more serious )that i can design, build and program it to think and solve problems as i do in my head, it should be able to perform all sorts of tasks and choose and pick different tools for tasks respectively. I am aware that it's not going to happen for a while yet, but i would like to start learning and experimenting. There are ton's of books on amazon, but what should i get, which one is easiest to understand and quick(if there's such), how many books, what sequance to read them??

16. Better organized CarPlay screen for reporting traffic issues

    Describing traffic issues while driving needs to be done quickly, so the driver isn’t distracted too long. I feel at least 20 buttons should be shown on the screen right away to report conditions, instead of 5 that ‘open’ into related scenarios. So 1st column is the 5 most important police issues, the 2nd column is the 5 most important emergency vehicle issues, the 3rd column is the 5 most important crash or stopped vehicle issues, the 4th column is the 5 most important road surface condition issues, and the 5th column is the 5 most important ‘other’ issues.
    With this sorted visual in place there is no going to subcategories, because all the most important things are displayed on the 1st screen.
    The driver can quickly choose which ‘button’ to select from 1 screen instead of having to go to multiple screens, possibly taking their eyes off the road ahead for long enough to become a driving danger themselves because they are not paying attention to the road navigating extra screens and taking too much time.
