Road width restrictions
In Europe we often get width restrictions on certain roads. This could be added at Map edit level and integrated with navigation route planning and would need a new set of parameters in the vehicle details/settings that would determine if your vehicle can actually take advantage of routes which have width restrictions!!
i have been caught out several times in an oversize vehicle before!!

Commercial Navigation
There are a lot of commercial vehicles on the road. I think it would be nice to give the user the ability to input the height and weight of their commercial vehicle including oversized and overheight loads. Editors would include clearance heights when a road level 1 crosses over a Ground level, level 2 over level 1, etc. as well as roadway weight restrictions as displayed on signage (eg: Weight limit 8 tons empty weight) as well as general commercial truck restrictions as displayed on signage. Sound to Car Infotainment Connection Test Button
Setting up / integrating WAZE with a car's infotainment system has a large number of variables with cable, Bluetooth and WiFi being examples. It would be really handy to have a test button that would run through WAZE's range of warnings to test such connections in a stationary vehicle.

Share/push location from mobile to vehicle multimedia
Link mobile<>multimedia using qrcode to share location/navigation session.
Flow -
Multimedia Waze app:
- Press share location

The display of the vehicle speed and local speed limit cannot be turned off. settings toggle do not work.
This may be a bug but the displayed speed limit and vehicle speed cannot be toggled turned off. It can be toggled off/on in the settings but the display continues to show on the screen.

have a "slow vehicle" type with a CUSTOM TOP SPEED
I drive antique vehicles which are often slow but i don't mind driving on highways so dont want to check "avoid freeways", i would just like that the navigtion algorythm takes my top speed (50mph for one car 65 for the other one) into account when calculating the route.
this could be set in the "type of vehicles" menu, select "special" and have a customizable "top speed".
then, even on a 80mph road, waze would only consider i'll make 50 and maybe reroute me on a shorter path !

Non-Vehicle Car Icons
I would love some cute, simplistic car icons that aren't cars/vehicles:
- A little caterpillar wiggling across the map
- A little spider scuttling across the screen
- A sail boat / pirate ship the bobs like it's on water
- A beach ball bouncing down the roadI'm sure there could be other ideas but these were just the first I thought of that might work.

STOP DISTRACTING DRIVERS WHEN VEHICLE HAS STOPPED MOVING!! SHOULD BE PAYING ATTENTION TO SURROUNDINGS!

The new waze alert notification is too similar to the sound of an alert the vehicle gives me.
The new alert tone sounds too similar to the alert the vehicle gives me when something is wrong. Every time it dings I look at my Guage cluster for a warning light. Please change this to something unique or revert it back to an audible read out to what's coming ahead. Alternatively, make it an option to choose different sounds in the settings

Add the capability to request assistance when you are the "vehicle on the side or the road"
Many times when driving and passing vehicles that are stopped on the side of the road, i am often inclined to stop and offer assistance. Many times i have stopped just to find out it is something I can not assist with or something for which they already have help on the way for. It would be nice if you have to pull over, you can self report the vehicle on the side of the road and specify if you could use some assistance or not. Like: need help changing a tire, engine trouble, don't have a phone-need a…

LIVE Number plate scanner, last known position of police vehicles.
A button to enable the camera to scan and track known number plates of police vehicles (possibly other wazers).
This can have a refresh time of say 10 sec and shows the next known position or simulate the police vehicle movement on the map. It just disappears when it loses the tracking but notifies users of recent police presence if you enter a road that had police vehicle on it in the last minute or so or within a certain distance.

Vehicle type restricred highway alert
PLEASE...When a route includes a restricted road, like the Merritt Parkway, pop up a flash screen that advises no trucks busses or trailers are permitted on the roadway and require acknowledgement. Illegal vehicles are being routed into these road because users either don't care or don't know how to set up their waze.

Use Waze to automatically alert drivers of approaching emergency vehicles
With siren detection software incorporated into Waze, the feedback would allow drivers to know that there is an approaching emergency vehicle. Drivers would know what direction the emergency vehicle is traveling and where they are with respect to the Waze user. We have developed this siren detection software.
