Pouvoir passer à différents modes voiture, vélo, caravane ou encore piéton. Mon vieux Gps Mio le faisait... c'était pratique. Le mode taxi ne concerne qui dans l'état actuel ? Un mode caravane aiderait aussi bien les conducteurs avec une caravane ou les Camping-cars en permettant d'avoir des axes principaux, ce pour éviter la déconvenue de petites routes de campagne, pas toujours aisées pour circuler avec les attelages et je dirai même bien souvent un calvaire.

Ability to users create their own "areas to avoid" / Possibilidade de usuários criarem suas próprias "áreas a evitar"

Users should be able to set a perimeter by themselves to avoid some areas by personal interest or not - only in their apps and smartphones.
Why? Some areas should be avoided if you don't want to pass by there for any personal reason.
Its not about to create a "general exclusion area " but only users can add, edit and delete their own restrictions.Usuários deveriam ter a opção de criar suas próprias "zonas a evitar" em seus celulares e apos.

Pause audiobooks during Waze alerts
I listen to a lot of audiobooks (via Overdrive app) while using Waze to navigate, when I get a Waze alert or prompt though Waze will talk over the audiobook rather than pause/resume it. It's very annoying and I often miss what the narrator is saying and have to back it up. I wish the audiobook could be paused while the Waze alert is given and then pick right back up again afterwards.

Quick Route Refresh Button
I'd like to see a quick route refresh button on the primary map screen during navigation that I can tap once to force the current route to refresh. I'm often in the midst of a route that I can see is starting to become a bad idea, but the Waze app isn't adjusting for the oncoming traffic issues. If I go in and choose navigate and refresh the route it will often give me an updated route. It would be great if I can accomplish this with a quick route refresh button right there on the map screen.

Route Preview Option
You select a route, then press the "Route Preview" button. Map view will then zoom to your current location and travel down the selected route as if you were driving. The map pans down the route so that you can see all the things you will be dealing with along the way without having to scroll around the map with your finger. Adding a "preview speed (1x, 2x, 3x, etc)" and a "pause preview" option would be a great addition to this.

New Report- temporary traffic lights
Hello Waze,
A lot of roadworks in London are controlled by Temporary Traffic Lights
Which can be 2-Way (50% green)
Also can be 3-Way (33% green)
And can be 4-Way (25% green)
Therefore I suggest :Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 2Way
Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 3Way
Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 4Way

When searching a company along your route
when searching a company along your route, WAZE should show these findings along your route. There is yet an app to do this successfully. When your search just "gas" or "fast food" it does an amazing job but when you search "McDonald's" or "Carl's Jr" it only shows locations scattered around you not along your route. This could be very helpful for family trips to plan out stops or if in route to be able to quickly see if you need to stop right there or if there is a location worth waiting for maybe 10 miles down the freeway…

add friend by username
I would like to add friends by their waze username. As a long time adapter of waze, I always found it odd that I couldn't add friends by username. WIth social media being so open, there are still users who feel waze does not need to know their phone number and shares the drive just fine through email and text messages. It is unfair to only allow people to connect by giving up personal information or using social media. A person's location is private information and should be allowed a more private way to share it if needed.

Natural gas on Brazil
hello you all... so, I'm a brazilian wazer, and here we have another type of fuel, GNV, that means Vehicle natural gas. It's a kind of metano gas, we have a lot of reserves, it's the cheaper fuel that we have here.
so, I understand that the app cannot be changed just for one country. my suggest is that here, in brazil, at the end of the gas station, we can put the acronym GNV, and the other wazers that use this fuel can know that is a gas station that can supply that fuel31 votesGreat thinking! Add 'beep only' option to the sound options
I now have the options: no sound / alerts only / sound on. I'd like a quiet mode, but I don't want to miss navigation cues. A beep only mode would be nice.

Waze is not for trucks!
When user installs Waze for the first time, a kind of pop-up or something similar, clearly shows that Waze is not for truck drivers.
Every day we receive complaints about bad routes for trucks and we need to explain that Waze is not for them.

Simplify Wazer and Editor workflow for residential places
The current method for a wazer to add their home to the map is confusing and creates more work for waze map editors. The workflow for a wazer is similar to this:
Wazer selects the yellow triangle (if it's displayed on their map)
Next selects "Place"
(now it is about to get really confusing)
Wazer must take a picture
The next screen says "Select Place" with a text field that says "Enter Place name".
For a residence, the wazer should not enter a place name. Just below the text field there is apparently a "button" that if tapped will add…30 votes -

Would be nice to be able to report a road closure prior to starting trip. I know a major road is closed but I can't report it to be routed around it until I am at the closure

Speed Alert Notification Improvement
Speed alert is not effective.. The speed alert notification sound need to be improved. The current speed alert sound is not enough loud and noticeable. Need an option to enable continues alert sound untill I reduce speed to the speed limit.
