    Make Waze more useful for buses and trucks. So i can choose that i drive one of those vehicles and not just between only a car, taxi or motorcycle. And can specify how tall the vehicle is. And Waze then navigates you so that you arrive without suddenly arriving at a bridge that is too low, for example

  2. Open up Waze Carpool for Trinidad and Tobago to reduce Traffic

    Big benefits to bring Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago to:-
    -- reduce the number of cars on the road during rush hour traffic (5am-9am) & (3pm-7pm). It is grid-lock at these times and can take up to 3 hours to get into and out of the capital (Port of Spain)
    -- car ownership is prohibitively expensive
    -- public transportation is risky
    -- public transportation is unreliable
    -- be environmentally conscious to the earth by being more economical moving people

    Help our little paradise to become better and more responsible. Help to bring Waze Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago

  3. Let users add speed camera locations

    I noticed with the newest update that you omitted letting users update red light/ speed camera locations from the app .. not sure- why but I’d like to petition you to please add it back ..... we here in NYC are getting bombarded with cameras that have nothing to do with driving safe ( not near schools - hospitals etc) they are just another way for this city to take money from its hard working overtaxed citizens..

  6. Make icons larger.

    New version icons for haz and police are so small you have to zoom in to a small map grid to see them. When there is a problem wreck slow traffic police ahead you miss you last turnoff due to being zoomed in so close. Please give option to zoom out and still see critical icons

  8. Protest the removal of the police warning feature!

    The Sheriff's association is using the tired old excuse that the police warning feature in the Waze app "could be used by terrorists." That is a RIDICULOUS excuse! The truth is that they just don't want us having the ability to warn others about their friggin' speed traps, and they don't want us avoiding tickets! Terrorists my shiny white butt!     Google Maps will notify you when you begin a route if the place you are going to is closed. Can this function be added to Waze?

  12. New Functions for Linking External Provider Locations (Google Pin)

    In the past, the WME PIE Script provided a valuable feature that allowed us to directly view the exact location of a place on Google Maps overlaid on the Waze map. Recently, this functionality was removed at Waze's request.

    Most editors, including myself, consider this feature essential. Taking this opportunity, I suggest we request improvements to this linking tool. Below are some current issues and proposed solutions:

    Currently, WME allows the same CID to be added multiple times to the same place. This creates disorganization in the links.

  13. Add a "Remember this Route" feature. WAZE should allow me to press a button to begin a route and another button to end the route.

    I don't want Waze to try to optimize my route or change my route in any way.

  14. Open up Waze to developers so we get third party plugins!

    Would be amazing if Waze allowed other developers to integrate their software AND hardware to use with Waze.

    Escort radar has their own app where if you hold a button on their radar detector, it'd report it on their cloud to other Escort users that a police is spotted.

    However, having to have two apps loaded at a time makes it very difficult to catch alerts from both apps at the same time. Opening up an SDK or API on Waze and allowing other companies and developers to integrate with Waze would allow Waze to dominate the industry.

  15. Calculate ETA based on own average speed

    ETA calculation seems to be based on traffic conditions and general average speed. ETA calculation seems to be inaccurate when driving below the average speed of the road-segment as it keeps increasing while driving with constant (low) speed.

    It would be great if ETA calculation would also be accurate for vehicles going below average speeds (e.g. trucks in europe etc.)

  16. Toll roads

    If user could use settings to set something like "use toll roads if it shortens the time on the road for at least XX minutes" or "use toll road if fuel economy if more then $XX". Waze gives us multiple routs from A to B, sometimes it is better to use toll road, sometimes it cuts only about 5-6 minutes from the trip (or less) - still not the reason to use toll road, too expensive for this outcome.   17. Display interstate/highway shields on client map.

    Right now the live maps can display highway shields with limited functionality. Adding this ability to the client maps (and expanding its scope, as right now it is only partially functional) would really make it easier to orient yourself when viewing the map.

    It would be nice if it was an option, as well... so you could disable it (like you can disable road goodies or other things) if you don't want to view them.

  18. Indicate toll roads on main navigation screen

    Because a tiny icon in the route summary doesn't cut it and is often missed!

    Also ability to show (in route summary) the cost and payment methods (cash, card, NFC, NPR, etc) of the toll road so you can plan ahead.

    This post is to strongly urge the prioritization of full integration with Apple CarPlay to enable turn-by-turn navigation on built-in Head-Up Displays (HUD) and digital instrument clusters.
