5. select locations to avoid

   Click a specific location you want to avoid (dangerous, long light, frequent traffic, personal reasons, etc). If you can click to add a stop to a route, you should be able to select a location and say Avoid this (Just for this trip, Save to un-favorites list, or Always avoid). Currently I have to add a fake stop to trick Waze into rerouting around a known bad spot.

6. Problem with your new version

   Your new version requires me to re-establish favorites, then it doesn't allow me to enter them. Recommend you fix that. I've entered my "work" address 6-7 times, and it never registers. Ditto home. All my favorites have been blanked out.

   Best I can tell, the new version has effectively disabled the "favorites" function.

7. My account was completely wiped out this morning. I use this EVERY DAY. My history gone. Miles gone. Favorites gone.

   Give a notification and give an option to work on changes later, not as I am trying to get to work. Why was my account wiped out?

9. The recent update of WAZE is pretty slick, but I do have one concern. Moving the access to friends from the bottom right of the home screen

   The recent update of WAZE is pretty slick, but I do have one concern. Moving the access to friends from the bottom right of the home screen and tucked away two frames over is not a great idea. Since the update, I can not see any of my friends online. Currently, If you want to see your friends online, you can access it through the search tab on the bottom left corner, then hit the forward arrow next to your name on top, then scroll down to the menu to find "My friends." For example if I want to send a "Beep" to a friend, it will take me 5 taps from the home screen. This features and others on that menu needs to be no more than two or 3 taps away from the home screen. This is too many tapping going on while trying to drive. I would like to recommend/propose the following to the developer below:

   -Please create a round button on the home screen similar to the yellow/orange round button we all see on the home screen bottom right. another option will be to do a folder Tab anywhere to the right or left of the screen to access the same menu.

   • Next, use the round button or tab to access the following menu list such as Go Invisible, Inbox, My friends, Account & Login etc.

   -Remove Account & Login from the menu list and only make it accessible in "Settings."

    The idea is to allow users to record and save the exact route they take from Point A to Point B, so that they can later choose to return using the same exact path — even if the system finds alternate “faster” or “better” options on the return journey.

    Some users (like myself) feel more confident or safe returning via the same road they used earlier.

    I’d like to request multiple work place favorites along with 2 Home favorites instead of only ONE Home option currently available. ‘Home’ or ‘Work’ is simply name. Users could call them anything they wish. But for easier navigation sake, to be able to save with more than just one HOME or one WORK, the obvious merits are flexible user experiences. By the way, does WAZE necessarily restrict users to only one Home and one Work? Is there more inconvenient or anything to lose if more homes and work places are possible? They could be your friends’ homes, siblings’, relatives’, etc or different work sites, stations, business branches, etc.

16. Being able to add more than 1 work place

    I think it would be nice if we could add more than 1 work place. A lot of people have more than 1 job to stay afloat these days. You of course can add it to your favorites but I like the home & work coming up as default.

17. Option to change order of search category buttons

    I appreciate the category buttons when searching, but they are fixed in place. It would be nice to have the option to change the order of the preloaded search category buttons so I do not have to tap "more" to get to a specific category for search.

    For example, I have no need to search for "groceries" but it appears in the first few category buttons. I frequently use the "gas" category search but I have to make additional taps and divert more of my attention to get to other categories via the "more" button.

    Ideally, the search categories could be edited similar to how favorites can be ordered in they way the user wants them to be. Maybe when "more" is pressed and all the search categories show up in a list, there could be an "edit" button in the upper right that activates hamburger icons to the right of each search category that allows changing the order of them (just like saved destinations in favorites).

    This is not a sugestion. I have a problem. I tried to report via e-mail. Waze sent me a reply... to send sn issue.
    Anyway, I have a problem with my account:

    I cannot save places in favorites.
    I tried all: inserting adresses, tapping the map, save curreny location...

19. Startup sequence is misarranged; initial direction; use accelerometer; easier access to 2d map

    I'll describe the problem by describing my experience. Often I'm in a hurry to get directions and go. I start Waze and there's a relatively long wait (4 sec) for the splash screen to pass--understandable, but still a minor annoyance. Then I just want to get to Navigate so I can get my route.     Only at this point does Waze decide to display a popup asking me if such-and-such is my destination. To the app's credit, this destination is usually where I am going: but at this point it's useless and just a nuisance.

    (Yes, these are developed-world problems.)

    I have an iPhone4, so my machine is slower than the latest model. But still it's a pretty common iPhone, so I know others share this experience.

    While I'm here, I'd also like to ask a couple more things.

    1. Could you make use of the phone's accelerometer? Often times I take a sharp curve right before parking in a driveway. Waze has no notion what direction the car is pointing, so when I start it back up, it draws the map facing some random direction, making it difficult for me to figure out which way I have to go initially.

    2. Is there any way that you could make it easier to switch between the 3d and 2d views? This would help with the initial-direction problem. It would also make it easier to use my own human knowledge of the roads to decide which way I want to go. As it is, Waze is too much like a master and not enough like an assistant.

    3. Make it easier to work with favorites. Allow import of favorites from XML. Have a default title for locations found in search that you want to add to favorites. (Your search btw stinks--first sign of this is that you use Bing, which reeks, to supplement it. When I can find in Waze, I naturally turn to Google Maps.)

    I'll describe the problem by describing my experience. Often I'm in a hurry to get directions and go. I start Waze and there's a relatively long wait (4 sec) for the splash screen to pass--understandable, but still a minor annoyance. Then I just want to get to Navigate so I can get my route.     Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

20. Update issues with suggested destinations

    After the newest update for Android Auto, Waze suggests destinations when I first start my car, but it rarely includes the destinations I actually want to go to. Instead of suggesting "home" when I leave work, and "work" when I leave home, it's only giving me options of some of my favorites that I don't visit often, like family addresses.

    If anything, "work" and "home" should be the top suggestions. The extra pushes of having to close navigation and open it again to select the standard locations is frustrating.
