  1. Sound alert on/off toggle for re-routing notifications

    I am a professional heavy vehicle driver and use Waze constantly. As only one additional stop is allowed, I take numerous side trips off my set designated route. The constant rerouting sound is quite annoying and personally, I dont need to be notified audibly that I am leaving the nominated route and would like the option to turn it off when not needed.

    Por favor coloquem os alertas mIs perto algo tipo 100 metros ou baseado na velocidade, estão avisando tão longe que chega a hora esqueço e se moto não posso olhar para o celular pra vejo quão perto estou

  4. Alertă poliție/radar la 1000 m și pentru sens opus

    În prezent, aplicația Waze anunță prezența poliției doar pe sensul meu și la aproximativ 500 m înainte. În România, radarele poliției funcționează la o distanță de până la 1000 m și, de multe ori, mașina de poliție este raportată pe partea opusă, dar radarul acționează pentru sensul din care vin eu. În aceste cazuri, nu primesc alertă, deși sunt expus.
    Propun ca alertele de poliție/radar să fie vizibile:
    1. La minimum 1000 m distanță (nu doar 500 m).
    2. Și atunci când poliția este raportată pe sens opus, pentru că radarul poate acționa în ambele direcții.

  5. O Waze deviria avisar todos os locais de radares, indepenente da Speed.

    Bom dia,
    Moro no brasil, na cidade de São Paulo e uso muito o Waze.
    Aqui em São Paulo há muitos radares de velocidade e as multas são muito frequentes.
    Minha sugestão:
    Gostaria que o Waze me avisasse sempre que tivesse um radar, independente da minha velocidade. Desta maneira tenho a possibilidade de ir memorizando os locais e assim evitar multas.
    Este problema de multa por velocidade em São Paulo, é muito grande e se o Waze pudesse incrementar, melhorar os avisos e alertas, iria nos ajudar muito.

  6. Los radares ocultos deberian quedar registrados como posibles radares

    Hay radares que están de forma eventual en posiciones extrategicas NO VISIBLES,cuando los identificamos deberían quedar sugeridos como posible radar móvil.

    Offer a "Known Enforcement Point" report the way trapster does it. Report an area where police tend to hide and take radar.

  8. More obnoxious speed limit warning

    Sound when exceeding speed limit by set amount is a great option, but very easy to miss the warning. Instead of a short beep, Please add an option to select the sound, option to repeat sound until under set speed overage, and a flashing screen or other obnoxious ongoing visual warning. This would have saved me a ticket and be very beneficial as no other app does this.

    Precisa ter na tela a opção de avisar locais com radares fixos e tambem moveis. Esta opção existia mas foi removida. Precisa ter. Pessoas estão reportando como Policia oculta mas isto é errado, precisa ser o report certo, até porque é errado avisar sobre policia uma vez que isso pode ajudar bandidos, enquanto que avisar sobre radar movel é perfeitamente lícito!

  10. Import live Ka and Laser alerts from Escort Live and Valentine One

    While Waze is doing a spectacular job at keeping the users informed of the surrounding through alerts reported by fellow commuters, it does not have a feature to report Radar or Laser threats. Escort Live automatically reports Ka radar and laser alerts through the connected Escort and Beltronics radar detectors. Similarly, YaV1 app reports alerts through V1 detector.

    It would be awesome if Waze can tap into these apps and provide wazers with these Ka/Laser alerts. This way, wazers would be more aware of exactly where and when a traffic enforcement officer is trying to catch his/her prey!

  11. Ryan Trahan (and Haley) as voice with State Unlock sound effect

    You may be familiar with YouTuber Ryan Trahan and his wife Haley traveling all 50 states in 50 days for a St. Jude fundraiser. It would be fun for family road trips to have their voices for navigation as well as a feature that would play their "New State Unlocked" sound effect whenever crossing a state border.

  12. Sound to Car Infotainment Connection Test Button

    Setting up / integrating WAZE with a car's infotainment system has a large number of variables with cable, Bluetooth and WiFi being examples. It would be really handy to have a test button that would run through WAZE's range of warnings to test such connections in a stationary vehicle.

  13. Differentiate entry and exit sounds

    Please differentiate the sound for entering a danger area and existing. In the current version the sounds are the same and it necessitates looking at the screen to see what's happening.
    If the "entering" sound were a rising tone and exiting were a falling tone this distraction to look at the screen would be avoided.

  16. License plate recognition for mobile radars

    The idea would be to use the rear camera of the phone to check the licence plates of the cars, and make OCR to read it.

    Then it will be compared to a database where users could report the licence plates of the mobile radars onboarded in cars.

    Waze could then alert that there is an onboarded radar on the road, and also alert other users with a flag on the map.

  18. Improve the Android Automotive version.

    I would like the Waze version for Android Automotive to be as good as the mobile version, in addition to adding some options that are necessary while driving.

    1-In the Android Automotive version, the radar alerts do not emit any sound, making it completely useless, as you won't be looking at the screen continuously while driving.

    Moreover, the other alerts only emit a notification sound, and when it sounds, you have to look at the screen to know what danger is approaching, diverting your attention from the road.

  19. Aviso de radares continuo

    Sería MUY interesante que el aviso sonoro del radar fuera constante haste rebasar el radar, en el caso que no se lleve la velocidad requerida, en el caso de superarla de nuevo que volviera a avisar.
    Es cierto que lo muestra en pantalla, pero no podemos ir atentos siempre a la pantalla
