1. Make next road number bigger when andriod auto

   Font size of next road name is big but the size of next road number is too small.
   Suggest to make it bigger and even move it behind the words of distance about next action.

2. Which Side of the Road

   It would be nice if on our drive at with .5 miles or .2 miles you would notify us which side of the road the business (address) is on. We have many 2/3 and 4 lane roads and we can't get in the proper lane for the turn if we don't know which side of the road the address is on.

3. Add > Hazard > On road > Vehicle Stopped/Broken down

   There are numerous times when one comes across a broken down or stalled vehicle in the road, and you end up reporting it as "Other" or even report it as "On Shoulder" which is inaccurate.

5. Display shield AND road name in the app

   Please consider displaying one or more shields along with a road name in the app. Ideally, we could have the option to display more than one shield, but at least one would be very helpful. Other nav apps already do this today.

   Currently, we can either display a single shield on a road OR the primary road name. Many roads are known by a common name but also have one or more shields that can be very important for navigation. Some intersections have a road name sign, while others only have a shield sign. Frequently, locals may know the road by the route # even though it also has a common name.

   Because of the ambiguity, it can be very difficult for editors to decide which to display in the app. Guidance already varies by state and valuable time is still wasted today on debates over different approaches given the display limitation and perceived local preferences. But I believe everyone agrees there isn't a solution that requires no compromises and works everywhere.

   It's understood that this would be a significant effort and would likely require a change in the WME to identify exactly what will be displayed. Perhaps some people will chime in with suggestions. Editors have already wasted a lot of editing time investigating, testing, and implementing hacky workarounds (and continue to do so today), so I believe the effort will be worth it -- for editors and app users.

6. Road conditon color

   the intersate road conditons are shown in purple, if they're are not any issues why cant green be used and use red for on coming slow downs are road issues like heavy traffic or an accident

8. Add a NEW 'Police Notice' flag for the "MIDDLE" of the road!

   On Waze, when flagging a Police, there's currently a 'POLICE' flag, for the current road side you're on; 'OTHER SIDE' flag, when the Police is on the other side of the road; but NO 'MIDDLE' (of the road) flag!

   There are many instances where Police park (or hide) on the middle of a two-way route or major roadway.
   Currently, selecting either of the two available options leaves the other side "unflagged" until a driver from the other side flags the same Police.

   Creating a "MIDDLE (of the road)" flag, will not only place a Police flag on the (middle) of road, but will AUTOMATICALLY prompt/notify drivers on BOTH SIDES of the two-way route or major roadway!
   Additionally, the "MIDDLE" option could also be used on most residential or local two-way roads, regardless of where the Police is parked. (I mean, on a two-way local road, the Police will turn the direction you're headed regardless which way you're headed on said road!)

9. Route through road closures

   During last week Verizon had to support the first responders was satellite assets for their communications. We were able to go through road closures. I would like the ability to turn off the reroute around road closures so that the people that can actually go through the road closures can be routed to their destination lot faster because of Waze and other map programs we could not rout ourselves to the locations that we needed to go to, I am Sure that the mini first responders that were at the Ruidoso Fire had the same issue

10. Verbally Say Speed Limit on Road

    Waze needs to say what the speed limit is on the road verbally. It is dangerous to look down at the phone screen for the speed limit when it is not posted on the road, and you have no idea what it is, especially for those who have difficulty reading small print.

12. Multiple road shield support for main segment name.

    Other map devices show multiple road shields for users. Unfortunately Waze will only allow one in the main name. It would be useful for roads that have more than one road shield on them to show them all.

    Viewing, posting and confirming "planned closures" of roads, streets, etc :

    1- View on the map "planned closures" at a given future date.

    2- View on the map if a given road had a "planned closure" at a given date in the past. (Helpfull to forsee road closures of annual upcoming events)

    3- Users Posting of "planned closures", its starting date and end date. Ex: streetsales, festivals, seasonal pedestrian streets, sports (running, cycling),

    4- Users Posting the event organizer contact info : email adress

    5- Auto-message sent to event organizer email asking for road closure confirmation; with a link to click directly to the event to be confirmed.

    6- Auto-status posted : "message sent to organizer x Days ago", "closure confirmed by event organizer"

17. Road Issues on Car Play

    I use an Iphone. On the phone when I use WAZE, i can view possible road reports or a compass. I can't on Car Play. How to be able to view Road reports & the compass on the Car Play.

18. Quick TOLL route button

    Similar to the other TOLL suggestions, it would be great to have a quick toggle button to tell me what the travel time would be on a toll route vs regular route. This is similar to your HOV route - there's an option. This way we can quickly compare routes. And giving three route options is good too. Keeping it consistent.

    Having to go into settings each time is a nuisance. Sometimes a toll is worth the money on time saved.

    Side note: Toll Prices have increased in 2026... ie. 407 ETR. Not sure of pricing is updated, and if not, would be awesome if you can. Thanks!

19. Destination showing middle of the road instead of exact side of the road

    Your map is amazing, only downside is not showing the house is on right or left side of the road so it is confusing especially when is dark or the wide roads you don’t know exact side of the road you can find the house but all other maps showing house is in right or left your showing the destination on middle of the road!!!
    Hope you manage to show accurate side of the roads in future soon.

20. Waze widget

    Today for the firsrt time i installed the waze widget. I liked but it seemed very simple. I think that the ETA shown was if I took TOLL roads bit when I touched "Drive" it took me to the non-TOLL road (which was the one I wanted but then the ETA was much longer) So I had one Idea but I need to show it. How can attach a picture to this post? But in other words it would nice to have the ETAs for TOLL roads and non-TOLL roads. Let me know if i can send a picture. I have "modified" the original one from the widget to illustrate what I would like to see.
