Would love it if Waze would use geo coordinates of my location from the moment I tap the “report” icon when in the car (CarPlay).
Waiting until I’ve submitted my report places the icon well past the location I intended to mark.

visual indication of GPS antenna used when connected to Carplay
A visual indication of which GPS antenna is used when connected to Carplay as the iOS device is able to take advantage of the cars antenna giving better accuracy. Would be very interesting to be able to see wether it's using the devices built in or the cars.

Map Pixel and Arrow Shacking in Map (Apple CarPlay)
Kindly note that there are issues on Wase map while using iPhone 14 pro and apple CarPlay in my Toyota Altis 2021 listed below: - The road map and the arrow is shacking while navigating to a certain place. - The map have pixel box appeared while navigating to a specific location. Apple carplay screen covered
Please change the notification size for problems on the road, or make it easily dismissed. At the moment it takes up half the map blocking most of the directions. Frustrating and unsafe at times

Update search feature in CarPlay
Please fix the search feature in car play. Having a list show up is not helpful if you are trying to add a stop onto your route. Have the search show up on the overview map so then you can pick which insisted best to stop at on the route.
Also,
Please add stop lights visible in the map. Like you can see railroad crossings. It’s surprisingly useful in Google Maps (which I use all the time because of these two great features).

Fix Carplay Issue 🙄
This issue has been going on for a while & it does not matter if you use a certified charger cord- the infotainment system will still reboot. Dangerous & bad for business. I’ve had to rely on Google Maps.

The Waze map display lags BADLY when used via CarPlay on my 2022 Kia telluride. The sound / alerts are correct but the map lags about a mile behind where I am located. It’s extremely frustrating. Please fix.

Scrolling at CarPlay map
When I put first letters of destination address, and want to choose right route, keyboard is enlarged and the space between keyboard block and field for typing is very small.

Searching during navigating with carplay
I think the worst thing about Waze is searching for a stop on your existing route.
You click on gas stations and it comes up with a list. Not helpful while driving. Especially when those are not directly on the route. They could be behind you or far off the actual route.
I use Google maps a lot more for local trips because of this feature. You need to add a stop on the route…whether it’s gas or an address and when you put that in. It shows 5 locations on the actual map so you can physically how far…

Current Issue:
When using Waze through CarPlay or Android Auto, drivers and map editors cannot directly save or share a location from the Waze interface.
To save a location, the driver must:
1. Disconnect the phone from CarPlay/Android Auto.
2. Open Waze on the phone.
3. Select “Share location.”
4. Exit the app.
5. Paste the location into Notes or another app and manually add details.This process is complicated, distracting for the driver, and in some cases, can cause accidents.

WiFi for CarPlay/AndroidAuto and Phone for Data
The key point here is that
I HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO MY CAR's ONSTAR DATA PLAN- my iPhone is able to connect to the car over WiFi for Apple Car Play
- Waze is able to operate through "WiFi Car Play" on my car's infotainment system
- This is key: THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE A DATA PLAN. So while I'm connected to the car's local area network (LAN) my phone does not have wide area network (WAN) data through the car's WiFi.
- Since the phone is connected to the car over WiFi, Waze thinks it should have WAN data and doesn't…

Add (2) customizable reporting icons on screen Mobile and Apple CarPlay
Often what we find is that most people are reporting the same thing over and over. For example vehicle stopped on shoulder ahead or police. Having a couple of customizable icon areas on screen would not only streamline this experience but add to the overall safety.

CarPlay end navigation with voice command
I’d like to end my navigation early with a voice command. I’m surprised it’s not already available.

Make current speed, speed limits and warnings the largest images on the CarPlay phone companion screen
Rather than next turns or route events shown on your phone screen when the maps are pushed to a CarPlay screen, can we have a large view of current speed, speed limits and upcoming road warnings instead (or as a third view option)?

Blocked lane options laid out vertically in CarPlay. The options would appear as the actual road position and be more efficient

speedometer
Speedometer can be pinned to my phones entire display (during carplay). That way it’s easier to read at a glance. Perhaps what displays on your phone screen when connected to carplay could be fully customisable?
