Railroad Crossing info
my idea would be trying to either intergrade the USA FRA railroad crossing locator app into waze or make it so we can add the info manually so if at a crossing where there may be an incident a user can click on the crossing and it will bring up the crossing ID number and the emergence contact phone number for the Railroad.
I feel like this feature could possibly save lives considering most do not know where to look for the signs at the crossing nor know that the locater app even exists.

New instructions for crossroad junctions/interchange
In the UK, there has been an ongoing debate on the most effective way to map crossroad junctions where drivers have to cross a main road without priority, as shown in this image:
https://imgur.com/bpKJi9RThe default instructions do not include guidance for routes that go straight, leading to URs for missing instructions even when no turns are required. As there's no instruction, the driver may not realise they have to give way/stop, leading to a potential accident.
If we were to add a "Continue" instruction, it may imply priority, which is not the case, and again, this may lead to…

Display destination on screen during navigation
Lately, I have repeatedly run into situations where, after driving for 1-2 hours, I have doubts whether I have selected the right destination. To be able to check this, I have to interrupt the navigation. This usually causes distractions while driving.
My suggestion is to introduce a display of the current destination above the estimated travel time field. This feature would be especially beneficial when using the Apple CarPlay integration. It would help users like me to always keep the desired destination in view, thus eliminating the dangerous interruptions during the drive.43 votes -

S-Turn penalties
In case of traffic even light, some ways become impossible to cross, mainly ave. with more than 3 or 4 lanes.
Proposal to include a S-Turn routing penalties in case of traffic in the crossing street.
This will avoid routing in ways with less than 200m (safe length for lane change is S-Turn even with traffic).

Free road - Green road
Let us see not only the traffic jams. Let us see the free road. Free roads may be highlighted in green. This will help to better assess the condition of the roads.

Allow the use of bluetooth controls while Waze is in the foreground.
When Waze is running in the foreground, my bluetooth controls don't work. So I have to do a whole bunch of on-screen gymnastics just to skip to the next track in my queue. This is potentially dangerous while driving. I should be able to use the button on my steering wheel. (It works fine when Waze isn't running.)

Please add multiple stops
I was a waze user before but when I encountered with multiple stop problem. Waze can only allow one stop to be added and it is confusing. Please make is simplify where we can add multiple stops and check the map and distance at the same time . Also we can change order of the stops on convenience.

RV routes
I use Waze vigorously, however, in the summer of vacation time we adventure out in our RV. It would be helpful to have routes provided by selecting the vehicle type as an RV, and using roads specifically safe for an RV/18 wheeler truck.
These vehicles are not designed for small narrow roads, and would need to have the safest route provided possible.
Is it possible that we can have better options for the vehicle type, and this way Waze can make a suggested route specifically for said vehicle type? I honestly believe this would increase the amount of users for…

Sloping / inclined streets
In Latam and some other cities I have known, there are streets with inclines of more than 15° and some vehicles cannot drive up these roads due to several factors.
1) low power vehicles
2) Motorcycles
3) climatic factors that prevent the vehicle to go up this road.
4) vehicles parked on the sides that prevent other vehicles from passing. It would be interesting to make waze as well as avoid freeway roads we can add the inclination and avoid it.

when reaching my destination WAZE will open my home gate by making a call or open other app (that open the gate)
when predefining an address ( like home address or work address or other ) we will be able setup an app or a contact that waze will call when we reach the destination,
this will potentialy operate a smart gate42 votes -
Traffic lights option button
Hello wazers. There are some traffic lights that are fast enough to pass through and some others that are extremely slow (2-3 cars per time). Waze commonly proposes directions through traffic lights (Even when there are other options).
I think that a “traffic light” option button that characterizes it as slow or fast, would be a good addition in order to accelerate our proposed roots42 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Heavy traffic: "make a corridor for emergency vehicle access"
Hello,
in some countries it is mandatory to make a corridor for emergency vehicle access (According to Wikipedia: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany) when you are stuck in heavy traffic. Although there are a lot of campaigns on building a "Rettungsgasse" in Germay, a lot of people still don't do it, potentially endangering the life of the victims of accidents.
I suggest adding the recommendation to form this corridor to the alert for heavy traffic and standstill.
Cheers

Improve "forgot username or password" process
I upgraded to a new phone. Forgot my username & password but the entire existing process is circular. Put in my phone number (didn't receive a text w/in 24 hours). Put in my email address (didn't receive an email w/in 24 hours). I charged & started my old phone to get my username. Once I retrieved it and put it into the new phone I received a verification code via text. I used that code and then added my full name - and I was given a new user name which I did not choose. When I put in my…
