Easier Navigation Means Safer Driving
When your getting close to your destination, the app normally lets you see which side it’s going to be on and a picture will show up (normally the picture is never there) but instead of all that I would really appreciate if the address popped up. It’s so frustrating when I’m in the middle of a delivery and have to back petal to find the address somewhere else because I’m also trying to navigate my surroundings and I can’t remember the house numbers. Just a thought for the future..

police comments
Why has commenting on the police icon been disabled?
I've actually found this commentary to be very useful for telling people which side of the road an officer may have made a stop, in the case of move-over and slow-down laws, etc.
Very disappointing and uninformative.

A Reminder to start driving
I want to drive a destination at a specific time. I want to set the time when I want to be there. When it is time to start the drive Waze will provide a reminder. Similar reminders using TV broadcasts.

Resuming navigation dismisses programmed stop
When using Waze on Android Auto, after having disconnected the phone from the car, the current drive to the destination resumes but any stops previously set are dismissed.

Add authorized Vehicles only entrances on highways to map
When driving on a highway where the two directions have land in between them and often there are many trees in that area, it would be good Sea on the map where the entrances are for authorized Vehicles only that go from one side of the highway to the other side of the highway. This is often where maintenance Vehicles Park and also law enforcement vehicles. It is often hard to see if there are any vehicles parked there until you actually pass the area especially if there are a lot of trees there.

Red light & speed camera warnings do not go away.
Recently, red light and speed camera warnings do not go away unless I close and restart the app. These warnings cover destination time and prevent access to other menus.

Please give the ability to turn off the "carpool" button
The carpool button is the bane of my Waze existence. Whenever I pick up my phone from the little pocket area in the car and Waze is running, it triggers this "carpool" button. Then it takes both hands to swipe from the far left side of the screen to make it go away. I won't ever use the carpool function and would love to be able to hide it and stop this from happening. I know it sounds trivial, but it's maddening to deal with.

The Green line - (Energy/ Gasoline)
The green line- When a Wazer checks optional routes (and also in the preferences/initial destination route) the most energy efficient route shall be marked as the "Green Line".The Wazer should provide Waze with its car model, design, and year so Waze could calculate the energy consumption.There is a difference between the routes because of distance, time, type of ride etc.At the end of the ride the Wazer will be provided with estimated carbon footprint.From Waze perspective - much more data... and from there you can think about many products and ways to monetize it

Add a feature to do a return journey down the from the destination to the starting point please?

Widget
Too many tap to start navigation. Add a widget for vocal search of address.
1 click to open widget, tell address.
2 click to confirm destination (if more than one) 3 navigate.
No annoying confirmation.

Reference to a nearby street where the chances of finding free parking are greater
I set a destination on Waze and when I arrived I discovered that it was a main street with no on-street parking while at a distance of 200-300 meters there were plenty of free or token paid parking on the street.
In such a situation I would be happy to receive an offer from Waze when it detects that the destination is on a busy main road and offer a nearby streets with higher chances of finding parking.3 votes -
Message alerts settings
In the new version of Waze, when the phone is landscape, when a warning is shown (radar, stopped vehicle ...) it's appear on the top of the screen, avoiding the visualization of what is to come in the path. The suggestion is to allow set where to place these alerts. If the phone is in an horizontal position, would be more useful than alerts go out to the right or left of the screen covering part of the side and not the way to go.

Additional reporting options.
Two immediately spring to mind:
1. when reporting a weather hazard, it would be great to be able to report "sunstrike".
2. the only way to report a stopped car is as an object on the side of the road. The only hazards on the road are things like construction. I have had multiple occassions where I have come across a vehicle stopped on the road. These have not been an accident, rather they have been due to breakdown. An option in the "on road/in lane" category to advise of a stopped vehicle would be great.I love the app…

Location based and on route reminders
Often when I'm going somewhere I need to remember to take something with me, eg, a hand-me-down for my nephews when I visit my sister. But I always forget! Can Waze allow us to add reminders to specific destinations and remind us to bring the items when we put that destination into Waze.
Even better would be if Waze reminded us to bring all items we can drop off on any route we enter. eg, I'm heading to my sisters so Waze reminds me to bring the hand-me-down as above but the app also reminds me to take the…

Don't default to "default" when another selection is made
It's nice that you default to "home" in the morning and "work" in the evening, but when another destination is selected from history as the default displays, the default takes precedence. Requires re-selecting the desired destination. If another destination is selected while the default displays, use the selection not the default.

Switch map and directions on android devices to left or right
My car is a left hand drive vehicle however while using the app on an android headunit the directions are on the left side of the screen while the map is on the right hand side of the screen which is very hard to see. I suggest an option if your car is a left hand drive vehicle to swap these two and revert back if it is a right hand drive vehicle.

Recognize stops when close enough/stopped/disconnected from Bluetooth
When adding a stop, I can’t always get to the exact spot that Waze thinks is the destination. So even though I’ve gotten very close, stopped for two minutes, and disconnected the phone from Bluetooth, Waze still thinks I’m going to the first destination unless I stop the drive and start a new one with my second destination.

display full address you’re arriving at
When you arrive at your destination, and the directions UI displays “you have arrived at…”, it should show the full street address with number, rather than just street name. Sometimes you forget after a long drive, especially if you’ve never been there before.

There is a major bug in the latest version of Waze. The arrow will not centre anyone when in landscape mode. Please fix ASAP.
Major bug in the latest version of Waze. The arrow refuses to center correctly and always cuts half of the map off from the right side. This issue makes the app practically unusable so until it is fixed I’ll need to go back to my trusted TomTom app.

Single button for stopped vehicle
Since most of the time a hazard on the side of the road is a stopped vehicle, can we please just have a single button to report stopped vehicle on side of road, rather than it being buried under hazard?
