Favorite's Near Me like on the Garmin GPS
I am in sales and when I had my Garmin and set up my favorites I could go into favorites near me. So I would be able to see all of my customers that were close to me and make a route on seeing them. I have my favorites set up in Waze but would be nice to see how close they are to me like the Garmin had.

Enhance address with GPS Coordinates
Sometimes the destination is a small part of a larger address. It would be great to be able to pinpoint the exact location. For example, the campus where I work has a single mailing address; however there are more than one way to get to campus. If I use the mailing address, the destination ends up being on the wrong side of the campus. Most of the time I'm routed to get to a location I'm not intending to go to.

Improve "forgot username or password" process
I upgraded to a new phone. Forgot my username & password but the entire existing process is circular. Put in my phone number (didn't receive a text w/in 24 hours). Put in my email address (didn't receive an email w/in 24 hours). I charged & started my old phone to get my username. Once I retrieved it and put it into the new phone I received a verification code via text. I used that code and then added my full name - and I was given a new user name which I did not choose. Sound Navigation
One of my favorite things about Maps is when I'm in route to my destination and I want to here what my next step in my direction is that I can tap the screen and here the lady tell me what to expect next whether I'm .2 miles away, 1 mile away or 5 miles away from my next turn. Android Auto - Allow Waze destination "history" to be displayed as part of Android Auto.
"Native" Waze on my android phone shows past historical destinations when I initiate a new destination search. When using Waze as part of Android Auto - only destination favorites are shown. Please allow Waze to show historical destination list when used in Android Auto.

I have many ideas but my english is poor so i described by my own language.
- Bisa edit rute tambahan selain rute yg sudah ada dan diinput manual dengan mengemudi ( ada tombol start dan end ) Setelah diedit bisa disave dan bisa menjadi pilihan untuk rute yg sudah ada dan rute favorit bisa dihighlight
- Tambahkan menu edit di pilihan navigasi dan favorit dan pratinjau
- Adakan icon baru untuk pemberi masukan dan icon baru untuk yg sudah dikerjakan idenya (icon khusus)
- Adakan chat khusus bagi wazer yg sudah menjadi teman dan bisa chat head to head and real time

Would love to have Ze Frank as my ride guide.
There are so many fantastic narrators for nature documentaries out there, but these days the work done by Ze Frank is by far my favorite. It's a perfect blend of knowledge sharing and humor.

Message adding photos public
Please create a message when someone add a local/photo advising that it is a public photo and will be shared with all Wazers. Many people adding (and confusing with private favorite places) home like My House, girlfriend house, work, house in Portugal, vacancy house and with private photos without any interest to Waze like interior of houses, garages,…

route options
I would love an option to save a route or favorite it, not just a destination. Once I was rerouted through a backroad due to bad traffic, and really loved the drive. It was pretty with a very similar ETA. I later wanted to go that route again, and wanted to check and compare the ETA of that vs another route, but the route was not listed later on. I would love to be able to favorite that route and be able to compare it against the other route suggestions.

favorites system & usability
The favorites system in this app feels extremely limited and unintuitive, making saving and using favorites unnecessarily difficult.
Instead of a proper favorites list, the app relies on a single horizontal bar that requires swiping left and right. This design does not scale: once more than a few locations are saved, finding anything becomes a guessing game.
Fixed locations (Home and Work)
Several locations such as Home and Work are fixed and cannot be customized:
- Names cannot be renamed
- Icons are oversized
- Labels are too long and take up excessive space

Apple Car Play Issue
I love the Apple CarPlay feature. The only issue I have is the black search/favorites/voice bar doesn’t disappear as it does in Google maps. It takes up valuable map space. Could you please, in a future update, create a disappearing black bar after map is up? Thank you.

Support for health conditions color ribbons as moods and national day of* icons
Cancer, Gastroparesis, Type One Diabetes...etc all have ribbons, Wazers would like to support their causes by selecting a color ribbon as their vehicle mood And be able to select other moods icons in support of their favorite national holiday that Waze suggests when opening the app for the first time on the day of the holiday. See available holidays at nationaltoday.com for examples of fun national day of celebrations. Ex: Would have been fun to see all Wazers moods on map, looking like their favorite kind or color of donut on national donut day for instance.

Looney Tunes Theme
It would be awesome to have a Looney Tunes theme. Bugs, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd, etc. Marvin the Martian would be mine and my kids favorite! All their voices are so unique anyone of them giving me directions and making comments would definitely lighten the mood in traffic. With Marvin you could use his spaceship as the car, Daffy has a spaceship from Duck Dodgers, Bugs you could use a carrot on wheels, etc. Kids would love to hear “what’s up doc” when starting navigation. You could use my husband for voices he’s good at impersonating cartoons…

Allow other users to send address to my handheld client
Allow facebook friends, waze group members, etc. to send an address to my handheld client if I am online.
1) When an address is recieved by the client, ask the user to accept the route, reject the route or block all address pings.
2) If I don't have a route set, auto accept the aaddress after 10 seconds.
3) Add a new category to the Address Search dialog similar to My Favorites, Recent searches, Contacts, etc. List the received addresses for easy access.9 votes -
I need a help screen once in a while. I still have not figured out how to delete addresses in the latest version.
A help link at the top of some pages would be very helpful in learning to navigate and find information. You have my favorite GPS which has saved me money, time, and kept me from being stuck in traffic. Thanks for a great App!!!!!

Traffic cameras combined with Waze live map for visual context
Traffic cameras provide visual context for the roadway environment. Humans are visual and like to have visual confirmation. "A picture is worth a 1000 words". Favorite cameras can be included to provide information along a regularly traveled route. This will provide the Wazer with the opportunity to view conditions prior to committing to a route. Traffic cameras can be displayed along alternate routes.Traffic cameras can be enabled when a Wazer is stationary to avoid driver distraction.
