Instead of during phone call mute yes/no, offer more options:
* no muting
* mute notifications (but offer normal driving directions)
* shorten directions (no TTS, no and then...)
* audible signal only (ring light bell when maneuver is upcoming and stronger bell when maneuver must be made)
* mute allThis will allow the driver to choose to get some form of navigation during phone calls, but which is still less intrusive to the phone call than usual.

Hi, I live in New York City and I commonly find myself in a dilemma when a notification of a speeding camera for example pops up, with a red light camera being just 200 ft further, and by the time I pass the speeding camera the notification doesn’t go clear the screen until 10 seconds or so, so I end up not getting any report regarding the red light camera and I end up passing The red light camera without knowing, this is just an example it will happen to any WAZE notification, The alert will not go off of…

I live in FL. Electricity goes out at least 3 times every week. Each time electric comes back on Waze camera starts recording.
Find a way to stop Waze from turning on when electric goes out and then comes back on. It happens frequently in Florida. Recording is off then when electricity comes back on it automatically turns recording on. I saw one lady say on Wyze blog camera coming on by itself and invades her privacy. Perhaps power outages are causing her problem. I keep getting alerts after a minuscule even 2 second blip in electricity since camera turns on.

speed cameras
The alert about speed cameras warns about cameras that are positioned on the same direction the car drives, which is counterproductive.It should warn about cameras that are placed on the opposite direction, because these cameras are the ones that are relevant , they take the picture.

A "Tell me when my commute is under an hour" mobile alert option.
Would love a mobile alert that tells me when a given route/commute is under a certain time threshold. I usually stay at work until traffic is reasonable. Getting a mobile alert that lets me know when it's "safe" to leave would be awesome.

Speed camera is less visible after new update
After the recent update the speed cameras are hardly visible as its camouflaged into maps and other things please change it to how it was previously or make the speed cameras visible by making it bigger on the maps. I'm sure every waze users agrees with me.... If u check social media platforms others don't like it either.

Access to view live traffic cameras where available publicly on the internet like around Pittsburgh, PA..
In many cities there are traffic cameras posted on major routes. These are available over the internet and mobile phones so drivers can see live feeds. It would be great if Waze showed those along routes or on the maps so drivers can quickly view current conditions.
We should also be able to add these to the maps through the editor and link to the published URLs of the cameras.

Update Waze so it works with AppleCarPlay. CarPlay allows phone apps to be displayed safely on the car's internal screen, so why not Waze?

Hi! It would be nice to send itinerary or destination from a web brower on a computer directly to the Waze app. A Great way would be through the "share menu" extension built in OSX.

Speed camera alert under menu Police
Hi
After my last voyage I found that waze doesn't have a lot of marked speed cameras the same with sectional speed measurement. For example in Czech republic. I had to use other app to get alerts. Why waze let us Mark speed cameras In new menu or under police menu. It would be easier to refresh database.
Under police should be option to mark type of services like border guards, police or road inspection of transport.1 vote -
Arrow that shows direction phone is pointed for first few seconds of navigation.
I often don’t know which way to turn when I put in an adress. Before putting in an address the arrow points whatever way your phone is, which is helpful. Once starting navigation, the arrow changes to a random direction. I wish there was a way to keep the “live” arrow on based on my the direction my phone is pointed for the first few seconds

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Secondly if you use the app now on the car navigation screen (as I…

Speed cameras visual
I would like to provide feedback regarding the recent changes to speed camera alerts in Waze.
The previous speed camera warning system was much better and easier to see while driving. The blue progress bar provided a clear visual indication that a speed camera was ahead and remained visible as you approached and passed it.
The new circular camera indicator is much less noticeable and is harder to see at a glance. It requires more attention to the screen than the previous design, which defeats the purpose of having a clear and safe warning system.

Full screen speedometer option on phone
It would be nice to have the option to have a full screen speedometer with speed limits. Motorcycle speedometers can be 10% off, so most of the time I use Waze as a speedometer (with a map), it would be nice if I could tap the speedometer and make it go to full screen big speedometer display, then tap again to return to the map if I need it.
I've tried other GPS just speedometer, but then I lose Waze (And those aren't very accurate like your speedometer is).

Vancouver Lower mainland has a map of all speed and red light cameras. Please add these to the map.
Please use speed camera /red light camera maps put out by the Province of BC to update the Greater Vancouver map.

Improve speed control zones approaching alerts
Colombian wazers have been facing problems due to speeding fines, sadly in most of the cases is not about Waze alerts, but is the poor signaling on the Colombian roads and autoways. Given this, is it possible for you guys to deploy a kind of beep when driver is approaching a radar/speed camera detection zone, let’s say 300m before the location of the camera have a beeping which is increasing frecuency the more you approach the camera/radar location? This could help drivers reduce speed and avoid fines due to the lack of standardized signaling in Colombian roads. Thanks!

I am writing to provide feedback regarding the recent change to the pop-up warning banners for speed and red light cameras. These alerts were previously Red but have recently changed to a dark gray/black color in Night/Dark mode.
I strongly urge you to revert these alerts back to Red for the following safety reasons based on driving psychology and neuroscience:
