Option to turn off alerts for road construction
I can choose to toggle Road Constructions on or off for "Display On Map."
I would like to be able to toggle off alerts for Road Constructions, specifically, under "Alerts on Route."

After the last update, both while en route and when viewing the map, the iOS display dims turn turns off. In earlier versions I thought there was a feature to disable the auto-dim feature while the app is in the foreground. Did this go away or is this a bug?

Allow people to upload their own Waze profile picture (like their car) to get easily identified while driving...
Hi people. Please forgive me for my average English, I'm a French Waze user...
At the moment, the only way to display a picture when clicking on a Wazer is to link your Facebook account with your Waze client.
I guess that a lot of people (like me) don't want to link their Facebook profile with the Waze client or they don't own one.
My idea => Create a function on the Waze client to allow people to upload their own pictures.

Road sign display- font and sign size customised
Make the road sign ( road name like B123) size customized. It is very small when displayed at the moment. There is lots of spare space in the box anyway so making it bigger won't require additional use of the map space. Please make this displayed signs bigger or allow us to customise the displayed size. Request for Full BMW iDrive 7 Integration (Cluster + HUD Support via CarPlay & Android Auto)
Hello Waze Team,
I’m writing as a dedicated Waze user and BMW owner who strongly believes that Waze deserves full integration into the driver’s cockpit — not just the center screen.
I currently use Waze on a BMW G20 330i xDrive (2021, iDrive 7) with the latest versions of iOS + CarPlay and Android + Android Auto (tested on both platforms). At this time, navigation only appears on the main display, while the instrument cluster and head-up display (HUD) remain inactive — which limits driver comfort, focus, and overall safety.
I would like to formally request that Waze enable…

Move street name tags away from the route and the next maneuver arrow
Please display street name tags a bit away from the next maneuver arrow making sure that the arrow itself as well as some nearby streets are clearly visible. In a dense old cities the only way to understand which turn you should take is to compare the map with what you actually see. Don't forget about some GPS lag.

customize layout and display size
Please write an option to move or change the speed size. to customize the screen.I bought a car with android auto.
my eyes do not see the small number in the red circle. I take my glasses to be able to read and I have to remove my glasses to provide the road clearly.

Show small roads in rural areas
The Waze client, and also the "live map" on the web site, hides smaller roads as you zoom out. This is fine in cities where there are many roads. However, in rural areas, the small roads are simetimes the only roads, and if they are hidden then the map can appear completely blank.
I suggest changing to an algorithm that takes the amount of clutter into account. Something like "first disply the major highways; if the screen is not yet too cluttered then also display the minor highways; if the screen is not yet too cluttered then also display the…

Historic Markers - Option to listen to the text of nearby markers
As a Waze user, I would like the ability to enable an option to display and/or listen to the text of nearby Historic Markers so that I can learn about historic places during my travels. Many times there is no place to pull over and read historic markers.

Bring back old style warning/notifications in the upper part of the display
The latest update brought us a new style of warnings. In previous versions, the warnings were color coded (green = speed/redlight camera, blue = police, and so on) and were shown in the upper part of the map/display.
With the latest update, the warnings were moved to the bottom of the screen and in some not so flashy colors, and they easily blend with the rest of the app layout, making it harder to visualize them when looking through the corner of your eye (as to not lose sight of the road ahead). Landscape mode with North Up needs to be east/west sensitive
I insist on North Up and travel and east/west route often so Landscape mode makes sense. But when I travel east, my "car" is way over to the right of the screen, leaving no room for the road ahead. You need to move the "next turn" display or make it be narrow across the top. Going west does not have the same problem because the "car" is again way over to the right. So the "car" and "display" need to move around when traveling east to give a much better display.

Replace usual "danger icon" by an icon with an image showing type of danger, easier to identify while driving
It should be an great idea to replace actual "danger icon" by different icons showing type of danger.
With actual one, we can identify a danger, that's great, but while driving, it is sometimes difficult to handle smartphone to identify danger origin.
"An image equal 1000 words", so just have a look on smartphone display is better than handle to recognize type of danger !8 votes -
