The speed trap alert sound should consider the speed limit of the camera and not the current road the driver is on.
In situations where the driver is on a fast road and is about to exit to a slower road with a speed trap, the driver does not receive the sound alert as they should if they were already on the road with the camera.

Speed cameras
Is it possible that you can add in settings on “display” that we can edit the photo size of the speed camera that is coming up on our route. And if we can change the colour of it to our interest.. as the gray camera is hard for me to see and the size of it is small for me to notice..

When I connect my phone to Android Auto, do not force me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen
Version 4.93.5.11 for Android forces me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen. When I connect my phone to my car, I prefer to display Google Maps on the infotainment screen (via Android Auto) and display Waze on my phone's screen. That way, Waze provides me to with look-ahead traffic alerts, but Google Maps is available for navigation, adding side trips, etc.
However, with this latest version of Waze, once I connect my phone, Waze displays on the phone's screen a message directing me to my car's infotainment screen and Android Auto.

Fix the phone overheating issue
Let me explain the background on this. I've been happily using Waze with AA in my car for several years. All of a sudden, mid Feb 2024, my phone is overheating, sometimes before I even leave my driveway! I added a utility to my phone to troubleshoot and what I discovered is atrocious. This started right around Feb 19th. Whenever I have Waze running in the car, Google Maps is also running in background. Similar to Google Maps interface, in which I can pin a point on the mobile app and start navigation on Android Auto. I frequently use Waze to safely navigate to reported accidents, debris and disabled vehicles. Waze reports are significantly more location-accurate than my dispatcher saying "Respond to the area of Exit 45 for a crash." Before the last update, I could force stop Waze on my phone, reopen the app to the map, pin a location next to the incident and start navigation, then reopen the app on Android Auto to navigate. Add Average Speed Display Next to Remaining Distance in Speed Camera Zones
I have a feature suggestion that could greatly enhance driver awareness and safety:
Please display the current average speed next to the remaining distance when driving in zones monitored by average speed cameras.Why this matters:
It helps drivers maintain the right pace throughout the entire zone. Reduces last-minute braking near the end of the zone. Makes the driving experience less stressful and more controlled.Other navigation apps are beginning to include similar features, and I believe Waze can do it even better.

Display a "hangup phone" icon within the Waze UI that allows for a quick and easy way to hang up an active phone call.
Problem: When using the "Waze on top" feature, it can be a bit difficult to get to the "hangup phone" icon in the Phone app. This is especially true when driving.

Need to add a camera that detects motorcycle riders without helmet
There are AI cameras that are issuing tickets for not wearing a helmet. This should be shown and more promptly when in motorcycle mode.

Enable audio alert for speed cams regardless of the speed.
Waze currently only triggers audio alerts about speed cams when the driver is above the speed limit of the specific cam.
Since the speed detection on Waze is very flawed (at least here in Brazil/Rio de Janeiro), and not all cams have their speed limit properly set, it would be MUCH better if Waze triggered it's audible alert for speed cams independently of the fact that the driver may be above or below the limit of the cam.

Use Waze to automatically alert drivers of approaching emergency vehicles
With siren detection software incorporated into Waze, the feedback would allow drivers to know that there is an approaching emergency vehicle. Drivers would know what direction the emergency vehicle is traveling and where they are with respect to the Waze user. We have developed this siren detection software.
