Please do not route onto Guinea Road in Brewster
Very often when traveling north on I 684 towards Brewster, NY, WAZE will suggest, as the quickest route, a route that travels on Guinea Road in Brewster, NY. However, Guinea Road, esp. in its southern portion, is a very narrow road, with no dividing line, and many blind spots. I do not like it when I am the only car on it; if scores of drivers used it, it would even be more dangerous.

URGENT - WRONG ROUTE / FAUX ITINERAIRE (see below)
URGENT - WRONG ROUTE / ERREUR d'ITINERAIRE. iItinéraire WAZE pour venir au 18, route de Trémolin à 42530 Saint-Genest-Lerpt (mon domicile) est faux. Le terrain est entre 2 chemins et WAZE dirige vers le mauvais chemin, sous la maison, qui conduit à des fermes agricoles. Il faut indiquer exactement le même itinéraire que pour le 16, route de Trémolin. Les portails du numéro 16 et du numéro 18 sont adjacents.

Make "on my route" the default tab for reports
It seems that people would be more interested in reports that are on their route instead of around me. You can save us all a click by making on my route the default tab.

Opt out of certain alerts in route
I would like to be able to opt out of certain alerts in route. I have no interest in moderate or heavy traffic. I have a lot of interest in accidents or standstill traffic. Yet all are lumped together and I have to check every "red" dot to see if there is a real traffic problem rather than a minor inconvenience.

Cheapest route (including the cost for my time)
Sometimes I want to take the fastest route possible, but most times I want to take the cheapest route. By cheapest route, I mean one that includes a cost for my time as well as fuel, depreciation, and tolls.
I live in a part of Austin where the fastest route is often a highway that goes the long way around, but there is a slightly slower route that is direct. I'm willing to take 2 more minutes to drive if it saves 7 miles on my car. The US govt. puts the price of a mile on a…

Route Calculation - Max Speed Limit & Time Calculation
Allow the user to select either current speed or current speed, not to exceed posted speed limit when calculating the time to drive a given route. I have driven 5 to 10 MPH over the posted limit just as a test, which matched the Waze time. However, when I just drive the posted limit, the time if always off by at least 5 to 10 minutes.

Avoid parkways or truck route option
Does Waze offer an option for Truck Routes? I travel frequently on Long Island, NY and I have a cargo trailer on my SUV... Waze directs me onto parkways and I can't take parkways with the trailer.
Also, it would be wonderful if, when approaching your destination, Waze would tell you if it was on the right or left side of the street.32 votes -

Make the button to turn off the route easier to locate--it should be big and on the map. So many times I have to click through to discontinue the trip.

I deliver newspapers to many addresses and would like WAZE to calculate the entire route including all the stopovers. Would this be possible?

UI Update For Better Visualisation Route Alternative
There is a UX/UI design issue in the software after the update to version 5.11.5.1.
Before this version, the route options screen was larger and better organized, allowing a complete, simple, and practical view of all three route alternatives after defining a route.After the 5.11.5.1 update, the route alternatives display became smaller and narrower, with larger fonts, forcing users to scroll through the reduced screen area in order to select a route while driving. Look up and add a stop on planned route for coffee, food or gas.
While on a planned route, have the option to select food, coffee, gas that is shown on the planned route, in the direction you are driving.

Save a route with stop(s)
If you are carpooling (or for another reason) with pick-up/drop-off points between the start and end points, it would be great to save this route with the stops as a preset or favorite. This also implies the suggestion already proposed to add the ability for more than one stop.

change route
Your route suggestion has made my narrow road a continuous stream to traffic. I am not exaggerating. There is driver aggression, speeding because there is no passing room as you direct cars of Putney Hill. Please do not sent cars down Coalecroft Road
London SW15.The local council & police are aware but we need your help. The road cannot cope. Drivers are thick & pushing down at speed to avoid being inconvenienced. Cars will get damaged, and I have seen a fight.

PREVIEW my frequent route and give me an overview
Let me store common routes (commutes, etc), then when I'm ready to leave for work or leave work for home, Waze would 'preview' my route and automatically send me a txt or email with an overview....i,e., "traffic heavy on I-275, suggest US-23 instead" or "high police activity on I-94, suggest M-22 instead"... it could even be time based where it would automatically send if it's a normal commute day so I know if I have to leave earlier to make it in time.

Show route shields in the current road name bubble (bottom of screen) during navigation instead of plain text route numbers
Currently in Waze, the current road name displayed at the bottom of the screen during navigation only shows plain text (e.g. “M1 - Monash Fwy”) without the road shield symbol while route shields already appear in other parts of Waze (map and directions), but not in the current road bubble, creating inconsistency.
This suggestion is to display the route number as a proper shield symbol within the current road name bubble, instead of it being in plain text with a hyphen next to it. This will help reduce the clutter in the current street name and allows more room for…

Would like a minimalistic voice guidance with only short right left in X meters and similar.
Tired of hearing what every road name is.For example, take left in 500 meters.

Option for pedestrian route?
I use Waze for driving, but occasionally need some direction on walking/running routes. It's only slightly different but might be a nice option.

Waze can currently direct your partial walking route when it’s a part of a drive or carpool.
We are currently not planning on adding walking mode for complete routes.

Timeline and distance along route
Suggest to show timeline and distance along a planned route. This would facilitate break planning on longer travels.
Timelines would let you forecast where you might search for good places to eat or spend the night, depending on current traffic and suggested routes.
Distance indicators would let you forecast where you might need to refuel/charge, when your vehicle indicates range left.2 votes -
Give Option to Confirm Address when starting Route
I want to confirm the address Waze is taken me to before the route starts. If I say take me to X, it automatically starts the route without letting me confirm or see the address it is taking me to.
