Maximum speed warning displayed.
When maximum speed is attained or exceeded, the speed icon highlights the maximum speed for a few seconds, however, the actual speed is then hidden for this duration. Knowing actual speed is vital as you might be 1km/h, 10km/h or even faster but cannot see until maximum limit adjusts to actual. Would be great to warn and display actual…maybe under limit, but smaller.

Speed limit threshold removal
Add the ability to turn off the threshold or whatever you call the red box warning that you’ve exceeded the speed limit. It creates a safety issue when I can’t see my actual speed and the speed limit in the instant I look down because the stupid warning is telling me in red what the speed limit is. This is the worst feature of your app and needs to be optional as in, I should be able to turn it off so I can see current speed and speed limit at all times. Cannot believe this is still going on.

Display the road speed, ie at 60 mph on the iphone screen for every road. I need to know what the road speed limits are for every section.

Hallo, I'm an Italian "very young" Wazer and I have a suggestion: to make Waze warn us ALWAYS when exceeding speed limits , regardless of the proximity of a camera. It could be possibly done by changing the colour of the speed icon (i.e., for example from gray to yellow and then red) to make the message very intuitive , without compel us to distract to read the small numbers on the icon.
Thanks.

Police warning should be Speed dependant
Police warnings should be either speed or road type dependant. There is no point warning me about police speed trap 200 yards ahead when their optical devices can see about one mile. I think if this was added it would be perfect app.

Offer routes that avoid speed bumps
My very low ride height requires me to avoid speed bumps on roads. I need an app that will navigate me in routes that avoid these. Can Waze incorporate such an idea?
31 votesGreat thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

To always have a voice notification for speed cameras and police.
To have an option that constantly audldibly alerts to upcoming speed traps or police independent of speed limit

Having the speed your are going is nice but having both the speed limit and speed you are doing would be much better.

Current speed colour
I’d really like the Current Speed to be a different colour. Red text over black background is too hard to see with sunglasses on. It would be better if it could have white text on the black background or change it to say yellow text on the black background perhaps.
Whatever it is, it needs to stand out.
Thanks.

Swap the speed limit & notifications on the map
Swap the speed limit & notifications on the map. The speed limit should be in the circle (opaque) and actual speed in the b&w box. Reading the circle is difficult for actual speed.

next speed limit
Hello,
sorry, my english is not perfect neither google translator
may I suggest an option:
Is it possible for waze to inform the driver that there is a speed limit of yy km/h at xxx meters like that waze inform there is a roundabout at xxx meters
this would allow the driver to gradually reduce its speed by releasing the gas pedal rather than braking when the pannel is seen and thus allow to reduce the consumption of the vehicle
this should be beter for the planet and also for the wallet
thanks in advance to spend some time on…3 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

ANPR/ULEZ camera reporting in London
It would be useful to be able to get reports and alerts for these camera positions to help avoid.

Spastic speed limit display
Since the last updates the speed limit seems to go spastic popping in & out. Example: PA Turnpike speed limit is 70 mphs. Cruise control set to 70 , going down hills speed increases to 70.5. Speed limit sign goes nuts - in & out. Not enough hysteresis. Distracting

Speed indicator
It would be nice for the speed indicator and the time to be on the left hand side of the display rather than the right so the driver can view it easier on the car's display.

Potential Mobile Speed Trap Location Alert
There are many locations where Police Camera vans stay. These are often the same location, and often around bends so its too late once they see you. You should add to the map, just like with speed cameras, potential mobile speed trap. This would allow everyone to be alert at all times, then if the vans are there, Wazers can further report Police just as usual. This would prevent speeding earlier on rather than when someone finally reports the presence of police. For example, this could be done by adding a new icon e.g. a van symbol, with…
