Zoom out when you are at a traffic light to turn
I like to see an improved zoom out of the map when you are at a traffic light to turn left or right.
Now you only see on the navigation map just a few meters ahead.
I want to see a bit more what's coming up next after the turn.The big advantage of Waze is to see the directions far ahead, but only not when you standing still and need to make a 90 degrees turn after a traffic light.
This is for me my biggest feature request and part which need to be improved in the (Android)…

Speed synchronization with traffic light changes to save fuel and pollution.

The idea: an ecological 'green wave' feature
I suggest adding a feature to Wiz that will recommend to drivers the optimal speed to travel to reach the traffic lights when they are green. This feature will combine Wiz's existing information about traffic conditions with traffic light timing data.

minimize left turns across traffic
In urban areas making left turns onto a busy street without a traffic light or 4 way stop can be difficult and add minutes. Ways should have a navigation option to minimize that. By contrast right turns onto traffic and left turns off of heavy traffic roads are awesome

Report traffic lights with poor timing
I think there could be many benefits to reporting traffic lights with unapporpriate timing mechanisms, i.e. a light on a through street which turns red with great frequency when no cars or pedestrians are using the cross street. This holds up traffic unnecessarily and can cause further congestion. This information could be sold or provided to cities to help them use aggregate information to determine which lights potentially need to have their timing adjusted (Waze could aggregate the top 10 worst timed traffic lights in the city). Blocked lane with traffic lights
Basically in my country atleast. whenever theres a blocked lane on normal roads there is a heigh chance theres a traffic light controlling the flow of traffic. Would be nice to add that feature so there can be better calculations.

Stop users reporting heavy traffic when at traffic lights
In major cities there is always going to be to be a few cars stacked up at traffic lights. Stop dumb Waze users reporting heavy traffic when they are stopped at traffic lights. It affects the routing of other Waze users. Almost every day I see reports of heavy traffic where there is none just because some moron is reporting heavy traffic when they are sitting behind 2 others cars at traffic lights.

Add the Traffic Light time to green and recommended speed to avoid red lights capability for cities that have this info. Time to red is also
Utilize data from cities that have traffic light info available.
Calculate red light timing where this data from cities are not yet available. Bu using existing Wyze traffic data at high traffic red light intersections you can provide most of this valuable info directly.
With this data on directions map display:- Show time to red ( useful for red light cams and avoid accidents)
- Show Time to green
- Show ideal speed to minimize red lights

Motorway light signals
We have motorway traffic light signals that are sometimes in operation to control volume of traffic entering motorway system. Can create delays and other traffic congestion which could be avoided for alternative routes.

Traffic lights are a major cause of traffic delays when out. Currently there is no way to report this specific problem.

Report Traffic lights in Android Auto
The button to report faulty traffic lights is already in the mobile version of the app. Can we please get it ported over to the Android Auto version? At any point in time at least 30% of South Africa's traffic lights don't work and it would help many users if a few of us could report from our car displays.

Red light timer
I propose a button that can be toggled to pop up when on surface streets, it is a simple light that you tap once to turn red, and again to turn back to green. The idea is you would press it when you see the light change, which is not necessarily when you stop or go. What this would do is help Waze better understand how long in various traffic scenarios a red light will take to get through. New Report- temporary traffic lights
Hello Waze,
A lot of roadworks in London are controlled by Temporary Traffic Lights
Which can be 2-Way (50% green)
Also can be 3-Way (33% green)
And can be 4-Way (25% green)
Therefore I suggest :Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 2Way
Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 3Way
Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 4Way

traffic lights and stop signs
I request this idea a lot but it seems like no one listens and Waze team completely ignores it. We need stop signs and traffic lights on the map. All navigations in the market already has it expect only Waze, I don't know why they don't want do it or difficult to them to do it! I can't understand, these things its really very important for the drivers.
