1. option to disable the "This route is x faster than this other route"

   Currently, after choosing a destination in Waze, it will also tell you that the route it's telling you is faster than some other route.

   Why is theere a need to tell me that the current route is 6 minutes, 10 minutes, 17 minutes faster than the other route? It's a waste of time waiting for it to stop describing the slower route's time and streets/highways.

   I would like an option to disable the post-selection vocal description of slower routes.

3. No stopping anytime signs parking

   I would like it if waze showed signs for knowing when no stopping anytime is because I see too many people thinking it’s ok to pick up and drop people off at a dangerous busy street and I would really like it if waze shows signs for no parking anytime happens all the time at the Rockville Metro Station on the West Side and it can cause a big backup and that includes fire lanes too

4. Yellow Box Junction Cameras

   TLDR Version: At the moment on Waze you can only report either speed cameras, red light cameras or fake cameras, having a 'yellow box junction' camera would be a logical and great addition imho.

   Non TLDR Version: Yellow box junction cameras drive me nuts (for those not UK based these are cameras that make sure yellow box junctions - ie boxes marked on the road to stop drivers stopping at the entrance to a side junction and blocking it), mainly because not all yellow boxes are enforced with cameras (so drivers from all angles enter it and the only way to cross is to barge your way through) and usually yellow box junctions are put in the most ridiculous places seemingly by local officials who don't drive (I just got a penalty charge notice for one that is at the crest of a hill, I couldn't see it and the truck in front blocked my view as to whether I could cross it).

5. Prevent Constant Navigation pop-up while using other CarPlay apps.

   I drive a Mazda CX-5 and whilst the car is in motion the CarPlay touchscreen is disabled and I interact with the interface using a wheel and buttons to move the focus and activate controls.

   When using Waze to navigate and switching to music or Spotify or another app Waze will pop up notifications for alerts or upcoming navigation events.

   When forced to use the wheel to control the interface this pop up is extremely annoying and interferes with controlling the CarPlay interface. It is so intrusive that I will be navigating songs etc and when I click to activate a song or app feature, the Waze pop up has reappeared and instead of clicking the item I want it takes me back to Waze. Other navigation apps like Apple Maps show the pop up but when I move the wheel the pop up goes away and doesn’t come back allowing me to interact with the other app as normal. Waze keeps bringing the pop up back constantly resulting in making use of the other app nearly impossible.

   This small issue caused me so much grief that I found using Waze to navigate made me angry while driving so I stopped using Waze for over 6 months. When I tried Waze again after this time it made me realise that I had been calm while driving and when I used Waze I immediately became an angry driver.

   Please recognise when a user has dismissed the pop up by moving focus and stop this pop up from constantly reoccurring and preventing normal interaction with other apps as I do not wish to share the road with Waze angry drivers for such a small but infuriating interface issue.

6. On the paw patrol voice it'll be cool to hear. There's a car stopped on the side of the road, i wonder if Rocky has a part for the car.

   Other ideas, Zuma, when you get to your location, can say OK dive it, the beginning when you start, we gotta fly (skye) Green means go (Rocky).

8. Critical Improvement on navegation _ stop signs on track!

   Waze gostaria de recomendar uma melhoria simples e de alto impacto: a indicação nas rotas exibidas do sinal de "Pare" em cruzamentos em que a mão preferencial não é a do motorista.

   Alguns motoristas dirigem olhando o GPS quando estão próximos de alguma entrada e acabam usando visão periférica pra ver se há carros na frente sem observar maiores detalhes... como a placa de "Pare", que muitas vezes está escondida.

   E vocês sabem isso mais que eu (eheh), mas pra mapear é fácil... Uma vez que todo cruzamento do mundo tem a definição da via preferencial e, que os carros naturalmente freiam em sua maioria nesses casos, é possível coletar essa info e definir qual a mão preferencial... Daí, depois de identificada a preferência, é só colocar essa info pros motoristas!

9. Difficult to cross street w/out stop sign for cross traffic and bikes

   It's virtually impossible to cross Milwaukee when you're on Racine - there is no stop sign for Milwaukee and there are TONS of bike riders. Please reroute so drivers are not trying to cross a no stop sign street - especially at rush hour.

11. Feature Suggestion: “Group Ride / Buddy Mode” for Safer and More Connected Travel

    To the Waze Team,

    Good day! I am a longtime Waze user, and I truly appreciate how your app continues to innovate in keeping drivers safe and informed. I would like to suggest a new feature that I believe would greatly improve the experience of many users, especially those who travel together.

    I would like to propose a “Group Ride Mode” or “Buddy Mode” where users traveling as a group such as friends, families, and motorcycle convoys can see each other in real time directly on the Waze map. Many riders and drivers often travel together, and having this integrated feature would bring a big advantage in terms of convenience and safety.

    Below are the features that I believe would make this mode extremely useful:

    Proposed Features for Group Ride / Buddy Mode

    1. Real-Time Location Sharing
       Show the live position of each group member on the Waze map using icons or initials.

    2. Distance Gap Indicator
       Display how far each buddy is ( “350m behind,” “1.2 km ahead”).

    3. Re-route Notifications
       If a member takes a different route, the group receives a small alert such as:
       “Alex re-routed now 2.1 km away.”

    4. Group Voice Chat (Push-to-Talk)
       A simple walkietalkie style voice feature for quick updates during the drive.

    5. Group ETA Comparison
       Show the estimated time of arrival for every member to help coordinate stops and arrival times.

    6. Battery Level Indicator
       Notify group members if someone has low battery to avoid surprises when someone drops offline.

    7. Speed Status Sync (Privacy-Safe)
       Show simple speed indicators like: Stopped, Slow, Normal, Fast (no exact speed numbers needed).

    8. “Regroup Alert” Button
       Allows one member to send a signal to the group to slow down or meet at the next stop.

    9. Privacy Controls
       Group access via invite link or code only.
       Option for members to switch to invisible mode anytime.

    10. Emergency/SOS Ping
        A quick SOS button that alerts all members if someone stops unexpectedly or needs assistance.

    Why This Feature is Valuable?
    - This feature would be especially helpful for:
    - Motorcycle groups and riding clubs
    - Family convoys during long trips
    - Friends traveling to the same destination
    - Delivery riders working in teams

    Integrating this into Waze would make group travel safer, more organized, and more enjoyable, while also setting Waze apart from other navigation apps that currently don’t offer this level of real-time group coordination.

12. setup actions for use by trigger (app)

    I use an app called trigger to start waze when I get into my car. It allows actions to be executed on apps. (Eg for music player it can start playing music, stop playing etc) Would it be possible to set actions that allow actions to be executed by such programs? Simple things like start navigating home/work/close?

13. I need suport on this as I've tried to get Waze to make this adjustment but they keep saying enough people have to agree

    It seems crazy to me that you can so easily post a vehicle stopped on the side of the road...not effecting traffic at all...yet there is no option to report a vehicle broken down in the middle of Freeway lanes, causing a monumental traffic jam! There is an option for roadkill!!! Like a squashed squirrel is really going to impact your journey...but nothing for a vehicle. I had this problem happen to me. There was an almighty backup and I had no idea why. There was a vague report about "an Object" in the road, but you think of a bucket, perhaps a tire....you don't immediately think of a whole broken down truck! Could you all support me in getting this simple piece of code added, so it makes sense? Thanks. Also, it takes way too ong for reports to show up on the maps! I was in dead stopped traffic last week and was madly reporting the mess, as I was constantly looking at a clear yellow map and supposedly no traffic. After I had posted so many reports, trying to get the map change to red and congestion, I was stopped being able to report anymore. It was a good 40 minutes that i was in traffic, before the map changed orange and showed some slowing!!!! if I had been a wazer following, and hadn't got the immediate update of traffic snarl, I would have been pissed! I think they either have to trust wazers or single out those with constantly reliable repots. Either way, Waze is meant to be better than the others for exactly that reason...the immediacy of the reports. Not happening!

    Why would you even bother adding such a thing? I don't need it. I know where to go for recent locations. I don't want to see it pop up every time I start waze.

    Keep up these "improvements" and I'll be switching apps. Stop dumbing down the UI. Quit piling more and more crap on the main screen. There is no point. I want a map. I want traffic (audible) alerts. When using a destination, I want audible turn-by-turn directions. THAT'S ALL.

    And TURN OFF THAT DAMNED CHIRP. Or, give me a toggle where I can turn it off. I'm not the only one. It sucks. Give us the option to make it go away.

    I’ve found that a few small habits really change how smooth a trip feels. I usually give myself a little extra time before heading out, especially on weekends, and it makes a big difference. I also try to check any planned stops ahead of time instead of scrambling to add them while I’m on the road.

    Another thing I rely on is the user reports in Waze. They’re often more helpful than just waiting for the app to reroute. And honestly, if I’m heading somewhere new or don’t want the stress, I’ll just book a ride. When I went to a gala in Miami, I used SALLimoService (https://sallimoservice.com/) and it was such a relief not to think about parking or traffic.

    Please stop automatic (dynamic) re-routing. Waze no longer is asking for re-routing permission from the user during active navigation. Waze is now dynamically (automatically) re-routes user without askiing nor alerting the user. Please STOP automatic (dynamic) re-routing without asking user's permission. 17. Ads in Complex Intersections

    Stop showing ads as I come into an intersection and NEED to see what turn is after the intersection. Same thing with the carpool ad. After I tell you 100 times I can't carpool, stop blocking my turns with useless ads that only annoy.

18. Traffic alerts

    I think I will be a good idea for the app to have traffic alerts. Not just saying traffic reported ahead. Based on the speed limit the app to tell you to slow down because of traffic. It will be extremely useful on highways. For example, a kilometer ahead to display/announce such warning and recommendation to slow down. Therefore, drivers will not have to stop abruptly and accidents might be prevented.

19. Improve Waze for all (professional drivers like taxi drivers, truck drivers and bus drivers as well)

    Feedback for Waze Improvements (Australia-specific but globally relevant):
    1. Map and Speed Limit Accuracy
    • Please update maps and speed limit data more frequently, especially in Australia where road rules and limits are often updated.
    • Ensure that the speedometer always shows the correct speed limit without disappearing or failing, as this can mislead drivers and cause unintentional speeding.
    • Improve reliability so the speedometer never stops working unexpectedly.
    2. Audible Alerts and Driver Focus
    • Introduce louder and clearer spoken alerts for every speed limit change, so drivers do not have to look at their phone screen.
    • Provide audible alerts for all types of cameras (speed cameras, red-light cameras, mobile speed traps, school zone cameras, bus lane cameras, etc.), not just fixed speed cameras.
    • This would greatly improve driver safety and focus on the road, especially for professional drivers who cannot afford distractions.
    3. Truck and Bus Navigation
    • Add full navigation support for all classes of heavy vehicles, including:
    • Light Rigid (LR)
    • Medium Rigid (MR)
    • Heavy Rigid (HR)
    • Heavy Combination (HC)
    • Multi-Combination (MC)
    • All categories of buses.
    • Include truck- and bus-specific routing options, such as avoiding low bridges, restricted roads, weight limits, and bus-only roads.
    • Many drivers who rely on Waze for personal car trips would also like to use Waze for their professional work in trucks and buses, but currently, Waze does not fully meet these needs.
    4. Professional Driver Use Case
    • Waze has a huge opportunity to support professional drivers (truckers, bus drivers, delivery drivers, etc.) who want the same smart navigation and community-based alerts they enjoy in their cars.
    • Expanding features to include heavy vehicle navigation and more robust audible alerts would make Waze not only the best app for personal use but also the top choice for professional driving.

20. Vehicle on left side of highway

    Please add an option to report a vehicle stopped on the LEFT side of the highway. Often a Wazer will report a car on the side of the road, but it’s actually against the left wall and it’s confusing and dangerous.
