1. Improve vertical UI on iPhone

   Please fix the vertical user interface on iPhone! It is a complete mess, with large blacked out areas unnecessarily blocking the useful map space, therefore limiting our map vision and app experience, also the shortcuts or pop-ups are difficult to reach/click. Moreover, it doesn’t show a green line when entering part of the road under avg speed radar control. It should be an easy fix, just look at the carplay version, or maybe take ideas from google or apple maps. I am literally switching to other map providers because I have a terrible experience of using waze in vertical mode.

2. Feature Suggestion: Estimated Time for Each Step in Navigation

   Currently, Waze shows the distance for each turn or road segment in the “Next Turns” list. It would be very helpful if, along with the distance, the estimated time to cover each segment was also displayed. For example:

   600 m, Modarres Expy → 2 minutes

   2.1 km, Resalat Tunnel → 3 minutes

   This way, drivers can better understand how much time they will spend in each part of the trip and anticipate which segments might have more traffic or delays. It gives a clearer picture of the journey beyond just distances.

   I believe this addition would provide users with a stronger sense of control and awareness while driving.

3. Disable Police Alert during government lockdowns

   During lockdown periods imposed by the government to control the spread of Covid-19, law enforcement agencies are hard at work manning road blocks to advise all road users to stay home.

   The option to SHARE the location of police presence/road blocks during this period makes things harder for the authorities to manage potential Covid-19 carriers as they will find alternative routes to bypass those blocks.

   I hope Waze can consider to temporarily disable police location reporting at least during lockdown periods of each respective country. We all need to do our part in curbing this virus.

4. Opção para evitar rotas mais longas com ganho mínimo de tempo

   Gosto muito do aplicativo e uso diariamente, mas gostaria de sugerir uma melhoria: que o Waze permita ao usuário configurar um limite mínimo de economia de tempo para sugerir rotas mais longas.

   Muitas vezes o app propõe rotas consideravelmente maiores em distância ou complexidade apenas para economizar 1 ou 2 minutos, o que nem sempre compensa em termos de consumo de combustível, desgaste do carro ou conforto.

   Uma solução simples seria oferecer uma configuração para priorizar rotas mais curtas, exceto quando a alternativa for significativamente mais rápida (por exemplo, 5 minutos ou mais).

   Isso daria mais controle ao usuário sobre o estilo de navegação que prefere.

   Agradeço pelo excelente trabalho e espero que essa ideia possa ser considerada!

5. Hazzard confirmation UI

   While driving it's very hard to use the Yes/No buttons, while paying attention to the road and hazzard that was just announced. I would suggest a large control with swipe left/right, that is easy to use without looking at the phone screen for long, and without trying to be very precise with your fingers on the screen. You could still split it in two areas, so a click on the left or right still work as Yes/No, just to avoid annoying users that are accustomed with the current UI. As it is now, I only use those buttons when I'm a passenger, never as a driver.

6. Enable drawing polygon areas Where Closures Cannot Be Applied

   Use-case:

   There is a bridge under construction where only one direction is open at a time, controlled by traffic lights. Currently, Waze often shows it as closed, even though cars are just waiting for the light to change.

   Proposal:

   Add a feature in WME to draw a polygon-shaped area where closures cannot be applied — useful for cases like temporary one-lane bridges with traffic lights, where Waze should display a queue instead of a closure.

7. Reportar chats de mapa maliciosos

   Waze es genial, pero esta siendo utilizado por conductores de transporte ilegal, incluso delincuentes para navegar y esquivar controles de tránsito y a los retenes de policía.
   Es una pena que una app tan útil como waze sea aprovechada por los mal intencionados.

   Incluso se esta dañando la comunidad de wazers, en los chats de mapa pueden verse discusiones, agresiones, falsos reportes y demás diálogo que restan y dilatan los objetivos y los valores originales de waze.
   Espero tengan en cuenta lo que esta sucediendo.
   Uso waze desde sus comienzos, soy rankig 22 de mi país y es la 1ra vez que veo algo negativo en la mejor app de la historia

8. Correction to Waze Maps

   Please check your waze maps for the public entrance to Island Walk Subsivision in North Port FL. I have made this suggestion to google maps, but I use waze 99% of the time. Not sure who the Lyft Uber drivers use. But please note. There is only 1 public entrance to this development. That is the main entrance off US HWY 41. This is a 24/7 Gate Maintained Entrance. Today, my ride UBER took me to the private entrance and I did not have my device and he could not get inn. The Entrance that runs from Playmore Drive going away from the Braves training complex to Island walk circle has a get that only opens with an OWNER controlled device or decal. Cabs, Uber, Lift, Rid share cont not use this entrance.

   Please check your waze maps for the public entrance to Island Walk Subsivision in North Port FL. I have made this suggestion to google maps, but I use waze 99% of the time.    Okay, I would like to suggest 2 ideas for future addition.
   (1). Make it easy to access SETTINGS. Currently it's very difficult to try to find where the settings button is. Maybe having the icon display on the main screen.

   (2). Currently it's also very difficult to set the navigation up for a trip for future use. On my Samsung S23 it's so difficult to access the 'save' preview to set the navigation up for a specific time. Please make this option easy to access.
   There you have it. If you make these 2 options easier to control you will make many users very happy!

    retirada definitiva do alerta de policia reportada a frente. isso tem no Brasil colaborado para quem esta fugitivos da policia , fujam de bloqueios ou entao tem ajudados criminosos a fugirem de blits feita pela policia ou simplesmente de ponto de controle. retirar tambem o emoji de policia que mostra onde elas estao. o waze tem colaborado com esses report apenas para ajudar criminosos ou pessoas irregulares. o alerta de policia reportada a frente nao é interessante , apenas para pessoas com ma fe , e ma indole. report de policia so serve para que a historia do homem aranha se repita; reportamos a policia , o criminoso vê e se desvia, nao vai preso, e mais tarde esta nos assaltando , estuprando nossos familiares, sequestrando-nos, matando-nos.

11. Allow setting a maximum number of toll gates in route planning

    Dear Waze Product Team,

    I have a suggestion that would greatly benefit users travelling in toll-gated cities like Dubai.

    Feature: Allow users to specify a maximum number of Salik toll gates they are okay with during a route search.

    For example: “Avoid more than 2 Salik gates”

    Waze would then show routes that meet this preference, while also displaying the number of Salik gates per route.

    This feature would help users:

    Control toll expenses and plan budgets.

    Avoid surprises from unexpected toll gates.

    Choose routes tailored to personal priorities (shortest time vs. fewer tolls).

    Such an addition would greatly enhance route customization and overall user experience, especially in regions with toll systems like Salik.

12. Une proposition de fonction (Rallye) dans le menu paramètre

    Bonjour,
    J'aime la navigation Waze, je participe à des rallyes touristique et je me rends d'un point A, B, C, D, E... jusqu'a un point d'arrivée (par exemple: Départ "Obermodern-Zutzendorf" sur D919-> D712-> D37-> D83-> RF-> D123-> D723-> D83A-> D83b-> D36-> VO-> VO-> D110f-> D662 et bien + encore), passant aussi par des Routes Forestières, des Voies Ouvertes et ayant des points de contrôles surprise, je n'ai pas trouver comment faire pour choisir mes trajets sans proposition "Trajet plus Court" "Itinéraires alternatifs" ou "Meilleur Itinéraire" ou de trouver dans le menu paramètre une proposition de fonction (Rallye), ni de rajouter une échelle de distance qui disparaitrait 20 seconde après avoir modifié la dimension de la carte.

13. Requête « station service auto ouverte le samedi

    J’ai tapé la requête en objet depuis mon domicile dans le 12e. Dans la liste de résultats apparaissent plusieurs entrées « GAZECLAIR STATION SERVICE », qui en fait sont des boutiques pour le gaz domestique et le matériel fonctionnant à cette énergie suivante, comme chaudières murales ELM Leblanc, etc.. C’est grâce à « Street View » que j’ai évité de me déplacer en voiture: c’est signalé dans une rue à 450 m de chez moi où j’habite depuis .. 1982 sans jamais être passé dans cette petite rue! J’avais fait un tour de 45 mn en voiture de bonne heure pour trouver une station pour contrôler la pression de mes pneumatiques. Je suis en jantes hiver 17 ". Le détecteur de sous-pression ne fonctionne qu’avec la monte d’origine 18 " qui est permutée pour l’hiver de mi-novembre à mi-avril.. Le véhicule roule peu (5000 km/an) et les pneus perdent de la pression en stationnement plusieurs semaines sans rouler.

       Numele meu este Cosmin Isfa, sint din Arad-Romania si va scriu deoarece as dori sa va prezint un concept brevetat si inregistrat la OSIM din toamna anului 2020, referitor la un sistem ingenios, unic si totodata foarte eficient de imbunatatire a sistemului de colectare a tuturor taxelor auto, precum si de monitorizare si control al autovehiculelor de orice gen aflate in trafic.

       Sistemul prezinta urmatoarele caracteristici si avantaje:

    • monitorizeaza si contorizeaza in timp real orice autovehicul aflat in trafic privind legalitatea si conformitatea tuturor autorizatilor de  circulatie precum: ITP-ul, ROvigneta,  RCA-ul, norma de poluare, masa maxima autorizata, valabilitatea autorizatilor provizorii si speciale de circulatie, precum si orice alte informatii legate de ipozitele aferente sau alte acte necesare exploatari respectivului  autovehicul pe acel tronson rutier in acel moment;
    • este aplicabil la nivel national si international, deoarece prezinta caracter de inovativitate si de unicitate;
    • este foarte eficient, putand monitoriza intr-o secunda, printr-un singur punct de control peste 150 de autovehicule;
    • este ieftin si usor de implementat;
    • reduce in mod insemnat infractionalitate si numarul de contraventii savarsite pe drumurile publice;
    • deasemenea, prin implementare, se va reduce numarul de accidente de circulatie;
    • va reduce in mod considerabil costurile cu resursa umana si materiala privind monitorizarea si controlul traficului efectuate de institutile de resort (ISCTR, RAR, ARR, Politie, etc);
    • creste cu procente insemnate incasarile la bugetele consolidate ale statului atat direct cat si indirect;
    • nu influnteaza sub nici o forma ceilalti parametri de exploatare a autovehiculelor precum si a cailor de rulare;
    • are functii multiple si poate sa preiei orice alta infromatie privind un anumit autovehicul prin update-rea sistemului informatic;

15. Allow Restriction Conditions for Workspaces; & Allow Areas to have Local Permit/Pass Types (IE: Student Parking, Staff Parking)

    Certain Roadways are set as restricted due to having gates, or other access controlling systems in place. The Waze Engine ignores these roadways as far as I am aware, which can affect those who work in the area. I think it would be a cool feature to have the ability to allow Regional Restrictions, it would benefit large sites, such as Colleges, Gated Communities, and other high density areas with varying road restrictions.

    Driving is (Allowed/Disallowed) for:

    (Vehicle Type) with Workplace within (Area)
    (Vehicle Type) Works Within (Distance) (Unit) of (Area)
    (Vehicle Type) Has Permit (Local Permit) of (Area)

    If a user meets the restriction requirements, they'll be permitted for routing within the restricted roadway, if there is a path to the destination, as long as one routing path's restrictions are satisfied for the entire length of the route.

    Certain Roadways are set as restricted due to having gates, or other access controlling systems in place. For instance, a function to "Avoid SR82" or "Pass Through Fort Lauderdale" directly within the app interface would grant users more control over their journey.

17. Ayuda COVID

    Implementar una opción en la pivote en donde uno envía un reporte ya sea de un accidente, etc., en el cual uno pueda mandar una alerta en que ese lugar hay posible contagio. Ejemplo: Si yo me llegara a contagiar de COVID y visitara la tienda de la esquina, yo como usuario de Waze marcaría que visite dicha tienda y que pude a ver contagiado en esa área, entonces cuando otro usuario visualice el mapa de Waze vea que esa zona hay posible contagio; con un indicador, ya sea que esa zona este con un circulo amarillo, indicando prevención, y circulo rojo donde indique que es alerta.
    Así los usuarios que usen la plataforma podrían identificar las zonas con posible contagio, para evitarlas y tener un mejor control de esta situación, ojalá y si puedan implantar esta opción, y no solo la recomiendo para WAZE, si no para todas las plataformas de navegación de todo el mundo. Ayudemos, aun que sea un poco.

18. Permanent “End of Pavement” Alert

    In several regions, especially on state highways and rural roads, there is an abrupt transition in pavement—for example, the end of the asphalted section and the beginning of a dirt or basalt-stone road. These sudden surface changes can catch drivers by surprise, particularly during low-visibility hours, adverse weather conditions, or on higher-speed roads.

    Technical and Road Safety Justification:
    Changes in pavement type can pose significant risks to drivers, such as:
    Rear-end collisions, when the vehicle ahead suddenly slows upon noticing the change in pavement;
    Loss of control and roadway departures, due to loose gravel, irregularities, or reduced traction on dirt or basalt surfaces;

    Increased braking distance, especially when transitioning from asphalt to a more unstable surface.
    A similar situation is already recognized by road authorities, and several highways physically signpost “End of Pavement.” The alert would follow the same usability logic and importance as the current “Sharp Curve,” “Complex Intersection,” and other warnings already implemented in the app.

    Implementation Proposal:
    Create a new type of permanent alert that allows editors to map points where the following occurs:
    End of asphalt pavement, or
    Transition to gravel/basalt stones/compact dirt.

    This alert would be displayed to drivers with adequate advance notice, allowing for planned speed reduction and improved operational safety, aligning with good practices in road signage and accident prevention.

Alertes : remplacer les bips par des messages vocaux adaptés : Exemple : “Attention ralentisseur dans 200 m vitesse 30 km/h” “Attention fort ralentissement à 500 m sur votre trajet” “Attention zone de contrôle à 500 m, réduisez votre vitesse à 80 km/h” “Attention un véhicule est arrêtés dans 1 km”

Pour les changement de vitesse limite : Lors d'un changement de limite de vitesse, une message vocal indique l'action et la vitesse à atteindre et la distance du changement : "Ralentissez à 70 km/h dans 200 mètres" "Vous pouvez maintenant rouler à 110km/h" quand la vitesse autorisée augmente.
    3. Remplacer le bip peu audible par un message vocal indique l'action et la vitesse à atteindre lorsque que je dépasse la limite de vitesse : "Ralentissez à 70 km/h" “Vous dépassez la vitesse autorisée, ralentissez à 30 km/h”
    4. Différencier les bips selon les dangers et ajouter un message vocal pour indiquer l’action à effectuer si possible.
    5. Différencier le volume des alertes de sécurité et de vitesse, plus fort que les indications de navigation et proposer plusieurs niveaux sonores à régler dans les paramètres personnalisés en fonction des catégories.
    6. Permettre de personnaliser les bips et les messages d’alerte : Je suis plus attentif aux alertes sonores qu’aux alertes visuelles quand je regarde la route.

20. Body mass index and cardiorespiratory fitness in MSers: Yes, it matters

    Abstract

    OBJECTIVE:

    This study examined body fatness and its association with cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in persons with multiple sclerosis (pwMS) accounting for disability status.

    MATERIALS AND METHODS:

    This study involved a secondary data analysis from a previous study of 62 pwMS. Body fatness was indirect measured as body mass index (BMI), and CRF was measured as peak oxygen consumption from an incremental exercise test with spirometry. Participants were allocated into 3 different groups based on established BMI categories (ie, normal, overweight, and obese), and data were analyzed using SPSS.

    RESULTS:

    The average BMI was 27.0 (6.7) kg/m2 , and CRF was 19.5 (7.2) mL/kg/min. There was an inverse correlation (pr = -.38 [-.57; -.14]; P = .003) between BMI and CRF controlling for age, sex, disease duration, and disability level. ANCOVA with linear contrast analysis revealed a statistical significant reduction in CRF between groups of different BMI categories; normal weight 20.8 (0.85); overweight 19.8 (1.13); and obese 16.9 (1.73) mL/kg/min; F (2, 55) = 3.33, P = .043; η2 = .11.

    CONCLUSIONS:

    The findings suggest that BMI has a negative impact on CRF in pwMS, with a marked reduction in CRF for those classified as obese compared to those in the normal and overweight category.
