Add alert/icon for police helicopters with speed radar in Romania
I propose adding a specific alert or icon for police helicopters equipped with speed radar in Romania. These helicopters regularly monitor traffic on highways and national roads, similar to mobile speed radars.
Benefits:
Alerts drivers to maintain safe speeds, reducing accidents and speeding violations.
The icon could be a helicopter with a radar symbol and function like the current mobile radar notifications.
Provides real-time, relevant information to drivers without violating any laws.
This feature would enhance road safety and improve the relevance of Waze for drivers in Romania.

SpeedCameras (max speed, time to flash on SpeedCamera, SpeedCamera notify without destination)
Max Speed on the SpeedCamera:
- Where you show the Max Speed we need to go, maybe you can show we can go higher than the max speed as there is no speed camera.Time to Flash on Speed Camera:
- It shows close to accurate of how far the speedcamera can see you, maybe an outline of a red circle if your in that small circle don’t pass your max speed.

Option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road
I would like the option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road. This should be a simple fix within the settings and would allow for less confusion when driving on a motorway. I’m often caught out by speed cameras and slowing right down from the speed limit to well below it so there’s not chance of me being fined. Allow me to define my daily commute route and show a look-ahead summary of any speed traps or accidents for entire route
When I leave to go to or from work, I would just like to see a summary that tells me if there are any speed traps or accidents along the route. Distance to the incident would be a plus, as would an audible alert when I am within a mile or two. I ride a motorcycle so interacting with the waze app while riding is impossible.

Suggestion to improve accuracy of speed camera reports
I would like to share a suggestion regarding the reporting of speed cameras in the Waze app.
Recently, I have noticed an increasing number of false speed camera reports along certain routes (for example, on the B469 near Aschaffenburg, Germany). In some cases, users appear to report multiple cameras along an entire stretch of road where none are present. Quit Calling my Camera Enforced School Zone a "SPEED TRAP"
Now Waze calls my Camera Enforced School Zone a "SPEED TRAP". If this is not changed immediately I will take Legal Action against WAZE. I am the Chief of Police in Fairmount, GA our Cameras are for a School Zone active only while children are on campus. We don't want the Negativity by you calling it a Speed Trap.

Need for voice notifications about fixed speed limits while we get warnings about upcoming radars
Hi. It could be very helpful if Waze could notify us by voice about the speed limit fixed for the given situation while it warns us about upcoming radars. This could tremendously help the drivers to control the speed without being distracted or in cases they did not notice the speed signs. In many countries, the drivers suffer the deficit of speed signs which can be very confusing and results in payments of high fines. Thanks

I would love to have speed limits added to the app. It would help avoid traps. Because knowing a cop is ahead doesn't help Without it
I would love to see the speed limit added to the app with an alert letting you know it is about to change! Because knowing a cop is ahead doesn't no good if there is a speed cage over a hill and the cop is setting there! There are traps set up like this all over. And this would eleminate small town traps.

Put speed on top of dropdown box as it obscures it completly, even worse is police ahead pops up again over top of speed reading. NO GOOD!

enlarge the size of the speed display on android devices, and change the colours to improve contrast
I find the speed hard to read on my android when mounted to the handlebars on my bike. If the speed was larger, and with better contrast, especially the red on black, that would help a lot

Traffic Jam Standstill Should be much slower
Waze needs to read the speed of Wazers in a Standstill Traffic Jam better. In the last couple of months, I have not been re-routed around terrible standstill traffic jams because Waze thinks the "Standstill" is moving at 15 mph when, in reality, you're literally idling and moving a few feet every couple of minutes. I see where the app tracks Wazers, so why can't it use their average speed, which was closer to 3 mph? Distance / speed based voice guidance directions
It used to be you can select how far from a turn or direction for guidance could be selected. You removed this quite some time ago. There used to be three or so options to choose from.
I believe the distance options were 1400/1200 feet.; 750 feet; & 200 feet or something like this. This would be good because sometimes it takes to long to get the direction or it tells me too late or too far away.
Or maybe make it speed dependent. That way if I slow down it's because I'm close and looking or if I'm going…
