EV features aren't currently supported in mycountry
EV features aren't currently supported in my country Costa Rica. We don't have license plate restrictions for electric vehicles and the days that plate matches the gasoline and diesel cars restritions I get not optimal routes.
Please enable EV features, including no license plate restrictions.

Automatically start/stop reporting on bluetooth connect/disconnect
Please consider a settings option to report traffic only if exact bluetooth device (my car HF) is connected. This could be very useful feature to avoid false traffic reports.
Settings:
- Turn feature ON / OFF
- Choose BT deviceBehaviour:
- When exact bluetooth device is connected, wait until some ratelimit speed is reached (i.e. 30 kmh) and start reporting.
- When bluetooth device is disconnected, automatically stop traffic reporting.10 votes -
car icon disappears
Within the last week or so, any car icon I choose does not stay on my car Android screen. I have selected a few car icons on the Waze app when the car is off, but once connected to the car the car icon shows up for only a few seconds but is quickly replaced by the default Arrow. Is there a fix coming for this?

BT, Waze audio message presilence and setting (secs)
Please add presilence and related paremeter (in seconds) in settings for Waze audio messages.
Beggining of Waze audio message is cut (around 2-3 seconds) if phone is not connected all the time to car bluetooth system and connects only during the message. For exampe I am listening car stereo system and waze connectes to car audio system BT only in case of message. This issue can be resolved by adding presilence to waze audio message and adding parameter in settings for the length of presilence (2-3 seconds should be enough).

Add an additional notification icon for use in the UK which will allow us to distinguish between POLICE and POLICE SPEED TRAPS. UK drivers don't seem to understand that the POLICE icon is for POLICE SPEED TRAPS, and not just for whenever they see a POLICE car, and as they panic every time they see a police car they want…

Circulation restriction warning
I suggest you to add a warning reminding the drivers the restriction day for their cars. It would work as the "child warning", the driver would inform the system the day he/she cannot circulate with the car and in that day, the system would remind the driver while using waze on the specified day.

Merge warning
Let users report when a multi-lane route has a section cut off and cars have to merge into a left or right lane, so it will warn users coming up to the merge to go ahead and starve merging into the other lanes.
This could be another button to report on the user interface.
Ex: when a 4 lane highway has construction on it and part is cut off, cars have to merge into 2 lanes. For less traffic and easier navigation, being warned to go ahead and merge would tell a user to get over either left or right…

Points and Bonuses shows when connected to Apple Car Play and Android Auto
Would be great on what shows on my iPhone and or Android phone reflects on the screen when connected to my car. I would like to see points and such popping up when navigating using waze app connected on my car.

You’re alert reads: “Car on shoulder ahead” however, many times it is a truck or an RV… Suggest you update your alert to read: “Vehicle on shoulder ahead”

Add features
I have a idea to add features find free penalty park places for diffrent vehicles. Like parking places for motorcycles, cars, etc.
For example, if someone wants to go shop and find a nearby free and safe parking space without penalty.

It could be so so nice to create our own avatar-car customizable on Waze like we can do it on Instagram or Messenger !! I love my ride, a Ford Ecosport, and I'd love to see my car on the Waze maps !!!!

Notice Dialogs
Notices (car on side of road, etc.) that have a 'not there' or 'thanks' should allow tapping on either half of the whole dialog rather than just in the smaller buttons at the bottom of the dialog. It takes too much 'attention' to hit the button while driving.

Waze distress signal
As a Wazer, wouldn't be great to be able to send out a distress signal. Tyre change, out of gas, need engine help, etc. Perhaps also car make specific help, in that case a personal setting including car make could be needed.
If another user helps you out he or she would gain some 100 p. To avoid misuse the extra points only should apply when you help a non friend Wazer.
Or turn the other way around and let users state what type of help he or she could provide. No need to get flagged for help if you…

A sound option to mute sounds for reporting road conditions. It keeps making sounds that mute my music if i report a car on the shoulder etc

Please remove from your street listing Canada Road, between Woodside Road and I280 in Woodside, CA 94062, this two lane country road is not appropriate for commuters. It has not stop lights, and only two stop signs. Long lines of cars block up this street during evening commute hours.

Preimptive Traffic Notification - Please read it is not just what it seems by headline.
Preemptive traffic notifications! Sounds Alarm, chirp, chime, text w.e. the user selects when normal route would be jammed BEFORE leaving their home/spot. You have the info and capability to recognize patterns in people’s lives. If they leave at 7:30 to get on a bus, subway, truckers cranking up, no matter who it is, Waze could see that their normal route is delayed 2 hours and let them know BEFORE they have left. use Iphone screen to display speedometer/speed limit when in carpay mode
When in apple carplay mode, use the iphone screen to display the speedometer/speedlimit in full screen. Pehaps as a third tab next to the directions, notifications tab. With the phone in a cradle close to the steering wheel this avoids having to glance to the far right of the main car screen to see the actual speed limit.

Changing Destination on Phone While Connected to Android Auto
I want to change my destination on my phone while it's connected to my car through Android Auto, but I can’t type directly on the car screen. Currently, I have to unplug the cable to change the destination on my phone, and then plug it back in to reconnect to the car.
