1. Background version of waze to voice alert on speed cameras when routing suggestions is not needed

   In most of the cases you know the driving route and you don't need waze for suggesting routes. but it's very helpfull to get voice alert on speed cameras on the way.
   I suggest to take that feature in waze and make it a standallone version that runs in the background (without the need to open it, or to display path, progress etc' which is battery consuming).

2. Predictive Coasting Speed Alert / Vorausschauende Roll-Geschwindigkeitswarnung

   I suggest adding a predictive driving option to Waze that helps drivers adjust their speed more smoothly before reaching reduced speed zones.
   Currently, Waze shows the reduced speed limit exactly when you reach the zone, which often forces drivers to brake actively. My proposal is that Waze should calculate the optimal point at which I should release the accelerator, allowing the car to coast into the reduced speed limit without using the brakes.
   The system should display an alert such as “Reduce speed to 50 km/h in 300 m” at the right moment for coasting.Additionally, the app could optionally collect driving data to adapt this feature to my specific vehicle’s rolling behavior. A function to create multiple vehicle profiles would be helpful, as different cars decelerate differently. Users could define one default vehicle and switch between profiles easily.Deutsch:

   Some places have traffic jams at same time every day.
   Wayz can know this data and show you an alternate duration time based on history (that way you won't be surprised every day by the same traffic jam).

5. International Land Border Wait Time Predictions

   Dear Waze Team,

   I would like to suggest a feature enhancement that could significantly improve the accuracy of ETA predictions for routes involving international land borders, such as those between the USA and Canada or the USA and Mexico.

   Current Situation:
   At present, it appears that Waze calculates ETA for routes involving international land borders based on general traffic data. This approach treats the border crossing as a regular segment of the journey, comparing travel times between points A and B without considering the unique delays associated with border crossings.

   Proposed Enhancement:
   To provide more accurate ETAs and better routing options, I propose that Waze integrates more detailed data analysis specifically for land border crossings. This could involve:

   1. Border-Specific Data Collection: Analyze the time it takes for drivers to move from the point they reach the border crossing line to the point they clear the crossing. This data should be collected continuously to capture variations throughout the day and week.

   2. Real-Time Updates: Provide real-time updates on wait times at border crossings, similar to how traffic congestion is currently reported.

   3. Alternative Routing: Use the detailed wait time data to offer more effective rerouting suggestions. If a particular crossing has a significant delay, Waze could suggest alternative crossings with shorter wait times.

6. Speed alert has stopped working in Android Auto

   Ever since the latest AA UI redesign, I have noticed that the "speed alert" feature has stopped working. I have not tested without AA, so I cannot say if this is specific to that or a general problem.

7. Improve spoken voice prompts speed

   I often find that when driving at speeds faster than 50mph and approaching roundabouts(slowing down of course) off slip roads from dual carriageways/ Motorways often the voice prompts are to slow in mentioning in what turn I need resulting in me needing to go around the roundabout twice to understand the given direction or as the case in the last few days actually being told which turn whilst on the roundabout going past the turn I needed!!

   Please look into this as my Garmin unit still gets used a lot because of this problem making it sometimes unsafe to consider Waze when driving in Kent along the M2/M20.

8. More voice warning before freeway exits, regardless of speed

   I noticed that the location of the voice instruction you hear before a freeway exit varies based on how fast you're going.
   Around 100 km/h, you get the voice instruction 1.5 kilometres before your exit.
   Around 80 km/h, you get the voice warning about 1 km before the exit.
   Around 60 km/h, you get the warning just 300 metres before the exit.

   It's the last one that I think is a problem. Some drivers rely mostly on the voice instructions either because we don't have a phone stand or because of restrictive laws regarding phone use while driving. And if you're on a freeway that has, say, 5 or more lanes, then regardless of what speed you're going at, 300 metres of warning before the exit simply isn't enough. The driver might suddenly have to dart across 5 or more lanes in 300 metres just to make their exit, and that's far too dangerous.

   Even at lower speeds, especially for roads with many lanes, such as freeways, Waze voice instructions should give greater warning before the next turn or exit - e.g. 1 or 1.5 km in advance, like we already get at higher speeds.

   In NYC, when a speed and/or red light camera is seen that isn't on the map, you should be able to report it. Can that be accomplished?

10. Please keep arrival time on screen during alerts.

    Please keep arrival time on screen when alert pops up while driving. Whenever I get speed, red light camera alerts, the arriving time disappears and comes back only after alert goes away.

    There is enough room in car play screen for both or make the alert smaller please. I would like to see, arrival time and remaining time left at all times.

11. Speed display - position changed, now hidden

    The speed display on CarPlay has recently changed from the left had side to the right hand side of the screen. On the right it is completely hidden by both the Waze direction box and the car interface.

13. Speed camera notifications AFTER passing it

    I think you should get rid of the notification that comes up with the little timer after you've passed a speed camera. It takes so long to go away and it's not convenient to press close so many times. Plus it's not useful what's the point you've passed it now

14. waze should update the new Awas speed camera (the new one that will be start at june)

    Malaysia PLUS highway and Lebuhraya Karak will have some new speed camera Awas. Waze should add the newest Speed camera location in the maps/routes immediately as the speed camera system will be start at June (Now).
    
    And the new Awas is "Average speed camera" , means that user can't just brake when waze alert that there is speed camera. They need to stable their speed to below the speed limit. (So waze should make a system to alert for this)

15. why are fix speed limit controls able to be removed with "already gone" button??

    Hello Guys, i have a question.
    If there are fixxed speed controls on the road, why is it possible to tab on "already gone" ? this doesn't make sense for fix built radar controls. Can we not add the fix radar controls to the map with a proove photo and let them for ever in the Map? i think there are people they just tab on "Already gone" or maybe some police officers on the road which have fun to do this?
    i noticed this several times, that there were fix speed limit controls which are not visible on the map.

16. Traffic Reporting

    users report traffic even at 2am on an empty street as heavy or even standstill just to get points.

    Recommend a change where the user only presses a button that says "report traffic". Then the app over 3 minutes send location and speeds to server and server decides based on reported speed vs posted speed, the heaviness of traffic. At 80% if posted a peed you mark "moderate". At 60% it's "heavy" and at 40%, it's at a "standstill".

    Great news! The feature where reporting Traffic Jam's severity based on speedometer reading is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

17. School zone camera speed trap Lawtey, Fl. No flashing lights. 20 mph. Can't read times on sign when driving.

    Lawtey, Fl. is operating an unethical school zone speed trap at the light on US 301. There are NO flashing lights and the zone times are impossible to read when driving by at the posted speed of 40 mph. Speed limit drops to 20 and is camera enforced. Ticket for $100 arrives 2 weeks later. If Lawtey was truely concerned about student safety, they would install flashing lights. Their primary objective is to defraud unsuspecting drivers and Lawtey has a long history of being a speed trap.

19. Option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road

    I would like the option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road. This should be a simple fix within the settings and would allow for less confusion when driving on a motorway. I’m often caught out by speed cameras and slowing right down from the speed limit to well below it so there’s not chance of me being fined. However, I do this for all speed camera alerts even when they are on the other side of the road just to be safe. It would be so much more pleasant to disable other side of the road icons so they don’t alert me. Thanks!

20. Speedo meter, cam alerts,

    The speedometer on the map plus the road speed limit is below on the phone. Speed cam alerts are show in the below part of the screen. While riding a motorcycle (superbike) i have to literally look down to see the speed taking my eyes off the road. This is dangerous. Please place speedo meter with speed limit indication on the top of screen or give an option like a layout to choose from. The font also needs to be big in size as at high speed it becomes tough to see limits of road and the actual speed.
    Also the speed limiter should blink not the actual speed while crossing speed limits. Here in Dubai i can cross the limit by 20kmph so i should be able to speedometer on constant basis.
