New update doesn't work in android auto
Let us know how to fall back on the old version until you sort out the bugs. In Mazda 6 the selection knob doesn't seem to interact with Waze. If you finally managed to add tge new destination it only shows the destination itself on the map rather than the routing (although the pop-ups correspond to the routing). If you add tge destination before connecting sometimes it works however it is impossible to cancel the pop-up messages. Often just freezes up. Please let us know when will this be fixed and in the meantime let us know how to fall…

automatic pot holes detection
At our university we have developed Android app which automaticaly analyses data from accelerometer and detects pot holes and road problems. We mark them to the map so the drivers are informed about a road problem ahead of them. See the app in PLAY store - bit.ly/1RCLM3P
We would like to communicate with WAZE representatives about possibility to transfer our know how to waze navigation.

Waze on Polestar 2
Hi waze devlopers, can you please try to put on Polestar 2 waze to work? Once time thar is owned by Google too, should be good an interesting have the two APPS available on Android Automotive OS. Hope this can be true. Thanks

In motorcycle mode make all choice options timed so they go away without need to press an option (not possible while riding, or in gloves)
New route available options make Waze useless on a motorcycle. They cover the speedo and cannot be selected without stopping, removing glove and pressing a choice. I had to stop three times today. I have a bluetooth controller on the bike but that seems to get disabled when these announcements appear so stopping is the only option. I am using the motorcycle mode with motorcycle selected as my vehicle.

Less than 20% battery dialogue box options
On Android less than 20% battery dialogue box says "Would you like to keep waze on?" With Yes and No buttons. However, when driving it's hard to read the question and often I end up turning off Waze cause I tapped "No". Since it's hard to read the question when driving, if dialogue buttons should said "keep on" or "turn off" instead of y/n, the decision is a lot faster.

Ultima actualización va muy mal.
Ya no es posible iniciar una nueva ruta cuando el teléfono y el auto están conectados. No permite buscar un destino nuevo: tanto el teclado como el comando de voz no funcionan.
¿De qué sirve una app para conducir a la que no se le puede indicar un destino?

Disabled forced turn by turn navigation on Android Auto when Waze is NOT the active app
Last year's update was unnecessary and locks Waze on your phone to turn by turn instructions, REGARDLESS of whether or not it's the active app on Android Auto.
That just makes no sense and users have so many different use cases.
My mounted phone (legal to have a phone mounted if being used for navigation in my jurisdiction and many others), is in a much safer line of sight than the dash in my car.
Another case of when product designers decide what's best for users instead of listening to feedback.

Roll back android auto update
its broken to the point that its completely unusable in a 10 gen civic.
the resolution seems to be set far too large for the small center console screen. What shows is a button that is far tool to show it appropriately, and the map looks like...well around the edges of the button you can sort of see some map and it seems to zoom really far out (while city driving).
you cant see anything, around whatever button that is, let alone use it for anything.
to make it worse, someone bright idea to make it default to have buttons…

Improvement recommendations for Android Auto
- Bring back the voice search button (icon) to the screen even in AA also in local language (e.g. Hungarian)
- Tank station (and other POI) search along the calculated route with the calculated detour time in result list
- split screen support for the new AA (like in Google Maps)
- Automatic switch to bird view (route plan overview) if the distance between two navigation legs is over a given distance (e.g 5 km) and switch back to normal view at the next leg. It would be nice for follow up the current status of the vehicle on a longer route.

keyboard shortcut
It would be nice to implement native iOS keyboard shortcuts. Like the Apple Maps app which supports:
CMD + for Zoom In
CMD - for Zoom OutAnd maybe add support for the use of arrow keys to move the map around. CMD UPARROW/DOWNARROW etc.
Another handy one would be a combination to recenter the map.
I am using an iPad for navigation and I'm building a bluetooth remote control :-)

On Android - Have a widget feature so there is a "Home" button on your home screen. So with one touch - Waze is set to take you home
