  1. Make Cody Rigsby’s voice available in more countries!

    Was thrilled to see that Cody Rigsby has become an optional but fabulous voice on Waze, only to find that it’s got limited availability. Would love if it could be available in Australia, but also have seen that places like Canada and some parts of Europe have also been excluded. It would be fantastic if his fans around the globe could have the option to drive with Cody!

  5. Treat roundabout like a normal "+" intersection for voice guidance

    Please add the ability to minimize certain types of messages. I live where there are roundabouts every mile (or closer together) and typically everybody goes "straight" - as if it was a normal intersection. Hearing "take the second exit to stay on *** road" is torture after hearing it a dozen times. Please make a setting that turns those off. I only need to know when I need to turn off the main road. Just like any other normal intersection. Mute voice guidance when it is telling me to stay on the same road. This could become part of a…

    To improve the clarity and relevance of voice instructions in Waze, I propose integrating advanced contextual awareness into the navigation system. This feature would include:

    Detailed Contextual Cues

    1.  Landmark-Based Instructions:
• Incorporate landmarks and notable points of interest into navigation prompts. For example, “Once you go past the Costa Coffee on your right, prepare to turn right” or “After you pass the second set of traffic lights, switch to the left lane and prepare for a left turn.”

  9. Add reporting by voice , and place speed in smaller box middle of screen, make top navigation arrows box smaller

  10. More UK Voices WITH STREET NAMES

    Please give some more options of voices that include street names with differnt UK accents. There are so many variations of accent in the UK and having some more options that still include street names would be amazing! I used to love Kates voice but the new one is so much worse. Please create some more UK voice options!!

  12. Have voice speak "Heavy" or "Moderate" or "Standstill" traffic ahead.

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted. Thanks!

  13. An interactive voice of a cat that looks like a dog

    Hello, greetings from Costa Rica.

    My suggestion is related to the voice of the cat in the application in Spanish...

    The voice that is used and what the cat says is not related to the real behavior of the cat with respect to its owner, when listening to the cat it looks more like a dog, this is because what the cat says is said with great affection , gently and almost with the feeling of being more than happy, as literally a dog would.

    A real cat would not make the instructions with that smoothness, it would even be…

  17. When there is a route change that is caused by live reports, Waze should use the voice warning.

    “Warning: There is a route change ahead.” Should be used to alert the Wazer of a change in route. It’s to easy to miss the little message sentence that is hard to read while driving. A voice warning would allow the driver to know something has happened (accident, traffic or weather) that triggered a route change ahead.

  19. Normal waze voice but putting the word “the” in front of highway numbers because that’s how people from California talk

    A normal, female or male voice that provides normal directions but uses “the” in front of highway name. i.e. take “the” 57 to “the” 101. This is how Californians call highways and it’s really funny to hear the contrast between natives and people that aren’t from California.

    In fact you reach the waypoint, not the (final) destination.
