  1. Voice Hazard Reporting

    This would be extremely helpful to be able to say what a hazard is instead of having to touch the screen while driving which causes you to look away from driving.

  2. Destination not shown after a voice search

    Hi team. Thank for mantain Waze. In previously versions, after a voice search for a destination site, waze shows me a list of possible results or a unique destination if it was accurate. The destination address appears in the map. In latest versions, if waze found a unique result i cant see it to validate if it is tbe result i am waiting for.

    Please keep wizard of oz sidekick option permanently! The combination of the animated voices + clips from the original movie makes every commute a little better for me!

    Have the main characters from the L Word (Tina, Bette, Alice, Shane) do voices...with the show coming back this fall good time for ******** to advertise like they did Dexter

  5. The new voice algorithms aren't working very well.

    I allowed an update to Waze that included updated voice algorithms. Now the voices I've tried aren't working very well. For example: "In about (pause) in one mile turn right." The old voices didn't "stutter" like that. They are also having more trouble coordinating with Audible. I have Waze set to use my phone speakers for notifications and use my car stereo to listen to Audible. However, Waze notifications jump back and forth between the phone and stereo, and sometimes both the book and Waze talk simultaneously. I would like to have the old voices back.

  6. Have a voice option that is trauma informed for the LGBTQ community. "Go Straight" can trigger, "Go Forward" is trauma informed.

  8. Added Mikasa voice (Japanese) + Attack on Titan icon

    Hello,

    I would like to suggest two additions to Waze:

    An official Japanese voice inspired by Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan).

    An Attack on Titan car icon, for example, the Survey Corps symbol or a visual style inspired by the series.

    These additions would be greatly appreciated by fans and would make navigation more immersive.

  9. Your voice guidance makes you look like fools

    Dr. Joe Smith, MD is NOT "Dr. Joe Smith, Maryland," and the VA Hospital in Dallas is NOT the "Virginia Hospital." Mistakes like that make you look foolish. Really, is that the best programming you can come up with? Your voice guidance is incapable of recognizing context and common usage? Or how about the Famous name "Tennyson," like in the poet? Your guidance pronounces it "ten-eye'-son." Sheesh!

  11. FNAF Security Breach Sun and Moon voices by Kellen Goff

    I would love to have the enthusiastic voice of Sun and the mellower croon of Moon to guide me as I travel! Sun's excitement to get you where you need to go on your way to a party or some other event would be so fun and Moon's calmer in control voice and charming laugh would be lovely when you're not feeling high energy.

  12. Australian TTS voice Kylie is only available while I'm in Australia - why region-lock voices?

    We live in a world where people aren't restricted by country borders, and so it's always frustrating when you're faced with a feature or an app on your phone that's not available simply because of where in the world you might currently be.

    I'm Australian and have really embraced using Waze over Google Maps over the years. One of the reasons this has been so easy is because of Kylie, the TTS voice I have selected. However, when I go to another country Kylie suddenly stops being available and Waze sounds British or American with no option to change it…

  16. please better quality for customized voice

    The custom voice recording feature in Waze has very poor audio quality. The recordings sound compressed, noisy, and unclear, even though my microphone works fine in other apps. The problem is clearly within Waze, not my device.

    Please improve this feature by allowing higher bitrate recordings (at least 128 kbps) and giving users the option to upload pre-recorded audio files (e.g., MP3) instead of only using the in-app recorder. At its current quality, the feature is barely usable and does not meet user expectations.

  17. Activate voice input when report button is pushed in Android Auto/Carplay or phone app

    I would like the report button to start listening for voice prompts when pushed on the phone or android auto/carplay. I use Google Assistant for most reports and by the time I say “Ok Google” then wait for the prompt, then use voice reporting the pin is dropped significantly beyond what I was trying to report. Fumbling around with android auto to find the correct category is less safe and less direct than voice reporting and I usually end up hitting the wrong category.

  18. New Voices

    My son has an idea for a "darkness" voice. It's eerie and creepy and I think it would be a fun addition to your voice option categories. He also does a great scary clown voice - which I know you have but he could definitely improve upon. thanks for even having these options they make the drive so much more fun. I really loved Shaka Khan too.

    You can use these for the length of the promotion.
    We currently don’t offer a paid version of app voices.
