1. Switching locations as easy as it is for Google Maps

   If I'm currently at location A (say), the current version of Waze (for Android) don't allow me to explore the route between 2 other different locations (B & C say). It only uses my current location (A) to any other locations so could you please make it possible to have two search boxes to allow us to explore the route of any 2 locations (e.g. From B to C)?, and also make it easy to switch between these 2 locations by having a double headed vertical arrows that can be used to switch the locations with a single tap to explore the route from C to B. This is already implemented in Google maps but I very much prefer the super clear maps & directions in Waze.

   It’s a bit tricky, but possible. Here’s the flow:
   1. Select an address, which would be your starting point
   2. On the preview location page tap on ‘More’ button (three dots), tap ‘Select as starting point’
   3. Select an address which would be your destination
   4. Tap ‘Go’ – Waze would calculate a route from selected start point to the selected destination point.

3. Tirem os nomes das ruas

   Nos que dirigimos não temos tempo de tá lendo os nomes das ruas. Isso acaba atrapalhando e muito pq e desnecessário. Coloquem uma opção de habilitar e desabitar. E de uns 5 dias pra cá, a seta do carro tem ficado encoberta pelo nome da rua a e me faz perder a entrada.

   Enhanced 3D Junction View for Improved Navigation
   The current Waze display on the BMW X1's 8-inch screen utilizes the full space but lacks critical lane-level detail, especially during complex maneuvers. Implementing enhanced 3D illustrations for specific challenging road features would significantly improve driver clarity and safety.

   1. Complex Interchanges and Lane Guidance For junctions where a simple directional arrow is insufficient, a dynamic 3D view is needed to guide drivers into the correct lane well in advance.

   Motorway Splits and Exits:

   Need: Show complex motorway splits (e.g., merging onto two separate dual carriageway A-roads) and exits.

   Proposed Feature: Display a 3D-rendered sign and road environment that clearly highlights the correct exit and required lane. This should appear several hundred meters before the split, with a countdown timer or distance marker.

   Sequential Close Junctions:

   Need: Guidance for immediate, sequential turns (e.g., turn right at the first light, then an immediate left at the second).

   Proposed Feature: The 3D view should highlight the recommended lane for the first maneuver and then transition to highlight the required lane for the second maneuver as the driver approaches the second set of traffic lights.

   1. Multi-Lane Roundabouts (Including Double Roundabouts) Navigating multi-lane or double roundabouts requires clear, pre-emptive lane instruction.

   Proposed Feature: Display an aerial 3D illustration of the entire roundabout. This view must show all entry lanes and highlight the exact lane the driver needs to enter the roundabout in, ensuring they are positioned correctly to take their designated exit. This instruction must be given sufficiently in advance of the approach.

   1. Motorway Exit Continuation Often, the most challenging part of a motorway journey is not the exit itself, but knowing which lane to be in immediately after the exit to prepare for the next turn or merge.

   Proposed Feature: Upon exiting the motorway, display a transitional 3D view showing the layout of the receiving road. This illustration should:

   Clearly indicate the total number of lanes on the new road.

   Highlight the specific lane the driver should move into (or remain in) to facilitate the very next step in the navigation (e.g., preparing for an upcoming slip road, merge, or turn).

   Hello I am a waze user, I highly recommend it, very good.
   But after I started to be a biker, I wanted to know if you can add some function only for biker in a rain issue in a certain place, and I could tell you that I was going to pass through this region, being like the hole in the road, so the biker could prepare better with a raincoat, thus speeding up the trip.

   Porem depois que passei a ser motoqueiro, vi queria saber se tem como adicionar alguma função so para motoqueiro em questão de chuva em um determinado local, e pudesse avisar que fosse passar por essa região, sendo igual ao buraco na via, assim o motoqueiro poderia se preparar melhor com uma capa de chuva, assim agilizando a viagem.

9. Really great app! Thank you guys for doing such good job!

   But nevertheless there are some features that could be done better:
   1. App freezes sometimes after start then there is no connection with GSM network.
   2. Then there are numerous alerts on the same spot, only nearest is announced. E.g. among "police", "accident on the road" and "vehicle on the shoulder" happend in the same area, only "vehicle on the shoulder" will be announced, meanwhile "police" is more important, because it is also used for mobile radars. It would be great, if "police" alert had priority over others alerts.
   3. Mobile radars or LIDARs. Then I see one on the road I can only mark them as "police". Those radars should have proper alert sign and extended time before they disappear from the map, (if no one mark them as "still present" during the night).
   4. When I set destination and add midpoint, after loss of connection with GSM network only destination point is only reestablished. Once I didn't note that, and drove 30 km in wrong direction.
   5. Red light camera should be always announced, not only when you approach it with the speed above the limits.

   But nevertheless there are some features that could be done better:

10. Suite of Tolls features (toll plazas location, toll prices, total costs per ride, etc)

    English: The idea would be to have a bunch of tolls features that would be highly useful in different manners. All of them would be managed/contributed by the users themselves, something very similar to what we already have regarding Gas Stations:

    • Locations of Tolls Plazas, with notification when getting closer to it and informing the updated value based on the vehicle type the user configures;
    • Option to add, update or delete tolls plazas location and prices based on vehicle type;
    • Total amount of costs to be spent in the Routes Summary - it'd help the user decide if the toll route is worth compared to the other toll-free route (much easier to implement compared to other Toll x Toll-free Routes ideas)
    • Other features would become available much easily once we have datas about toll plazas locations and prices...

    • Locais de Praças de Pedágio, com notificação ao se aproximar delas e informação do preço atualizado com base no tipo de veículo que o usuário configura;
    • Opções para adicionar, atualizar ou excluir localização e preços de praças de pedágio com base no tipo do veículo;
    • Quantidade de custos totais de pedágio no Resumo de Rotas - ajudaria o usuário a decidir se a rota pedagiada vale a pena se comparada com outra rota gratuita (muito mais fácil de implementar do que outras ideias de Rotas Pedagiadas x Rotas Livres de Pedágio)
    • Outros recursos se tornariam disponíveis uma vez que teríamos as informações de localização de pedágios e seus preços...

11. Magnification option

    Frequently I feel like I have to zoom out or in to see what lies ahead of me on the road. It's difficult but more so dangerous to adjust zoom, as it requires a lot of tinkering with fingertips. Not so good with driving.

    I suggest the same map layout Waze currently has -- but with two or three small boxes (i.e. interfaces) across the bottom of the screen. By pressing on one of them it zooms automatically to a 4x magnified map display, for example. The other boxes could be an 8x, 16x, or whichever magnification preference the user chose in settings. This way the user can zoom in or out easily, and without paying too much attention to their phone.

12. Com o telemóvel na horizontal era bom passar a barra inferior onde diz ( o meu Wase) para a lateral esquerda. Assim reduz muito o mapa.

    Seria muito bom retirar a faixa inferior do ecrã onde diz ( O meu Wase) quando está na horizontal e passar para o lado esquerdo do ecrã porque assim reduz bastante o mapa no telemóvel
    
    Na Mota uso sempre na horizontal e e fico com muito mapa lateral e pouco na direção onde sigo.

    Gostaria de deixar uma sugestão de melhorias, deixe todos os usuários informar a existência de lombada e radares, a equipe Waze pode avaliar a existência com contabilizando a confirmação com os próprios usuários que passarem pelo local, da forma atual com editores voluntários é um processo lento e não satisfatório, essas observações tem que ser atualizado de forma on-line igual fazemos quando informamos a existência de buraco na via, por segurança dos condutores, radares e lombadas.

    Enable Waze to sync with gas apps (e.g. BPMe) and cash-back rewards programs (e.g. Upside). I.e. a customer could sign on to a gas rewards program on Waze and get discounts included in the search.

16. meu waze é configurado de falar em portugues, porem os avisos de radar sendo em russo(?), como pode voltar para portugues?

    fazer um item de programação geral para indicar o formado do sentido da sequenci( lateral ou no comprimento do celular), tinha muita dificuldade de acertar isso!

17. Stop sending users going to a Summer st address to Congress st

    Boston, MA.

    I regularly use uber or lyft to get to my office at the even side of the 250-300 section Summer st, Boston, MA. For whatever reason, any driver using the waze app tries to drop me off in a back alley on Congress st. This is also true for almost every address in this section of summer street.

    The problem is that Summer street is a raised road two stories above the street level of congress street. None of the buildings in this alleyway offer public access to get to Summer st. The only way to get to Summer st on foot is to walk to the far side by the fort point channel or be a local and know about a specific public access stairwell under one of the bridges.

    • Being dropped off in this unlit alleyway is sketcy and dangerous at certain times of day
    • It adds a huge amount of time for me personally to walk such a huge extra distance just to get into my building.
    • Anyone being dropped off here not familiar with the area is basically stranded since they wont know about the stairwell or how to get around.

19. Waze encerrou a parceria com o appRadio Pioneer

    Bom Dia Prezados,
    É muito importante a Waze voltar ter parceria com o Apprádio da Pionner, meu rádio modelo avh-x598tv onde o app era espelhado e agora já não permite, e segundo a Pionner é a empresa Waze que não permite, o espelhamento é muito importante no Brasil por conta de diversos assaltos que sofremos de celulares e também para podermos evitar de colocar o celular no para-brisa exposto ao sol. Obrigado.
