1. Alerts Stuck

   When starting a new trip, the first alert that appears (speed camera, traffic light camera, railway crossing, etc.) remains fixed on the screen, and after going through this alert, the alert is not deleted, it does not refresh, it does not report a new alert. The first alert that appears stays permanently... it only goes away when starting a new trip... where the first new alert that appears is stuck again.

2. Radar audio warning trigger model

   I don't know if this is a new topic or not, but this is a problem that I've encountered wherein the normal Waze behavior is almost like a bug.

   How it works today
   The visual on screen warning for a Speed camera is based on distance only. I.e it will always show on-screen when the driver is X meters from the camera.
   However, the audio warning for a speed camera only activates if you pass the "detection distance" and are "over speed"

   Problem
   In this specific case, the radar is a 70 km/h radar. The detection distance however is when the driver is still in a 30 zone. Very few drivers will drive above 70 km/h there.
   Also, the Audio warning only triggers once. What I mean by this is that Waze will only trigger the audio warning when both of the following conditions are met simultaneously:

   if the driver enters the detection distance
   and is at over speed.
   

   This means that if the driver after passing the detection distance speeds up to a speed greater than the radar, he will still not receive an audio warning.

   How it should work
   The audio warning should trigger anytime:

   the driver is inside the detection zone
   and is over speed.
   

   The difference here is zone vs distance. The app should play an audio warning as soon as the driver's speed increases past the radar speed and is within the zone preceding the radar. It should also trigger again if the drivers slows down to a speed below the Radar and then back up again while in the zone.

   I don't know if this is a new topic or not, but this is a problem that I've encountered wherein the normal Waze behavior is almost like a bug.

5. Semaphore optimization of speed, driving time and fuel economy.

   To drive faster and keep fuel try to know the semaphore timing.
   In this case can advise drive slower or faster (if possible) to drive non-stop in the semaphore green corridor, when possible.

6. For police cameras alerts

   This is very important, since it occured many times. You have to give option in police camera alerts, to choose at which distance to announce alert. Sometimes it announces very near to the police camera. Give options for example 2km, 1km, 500m etc. so drivers can choose. Also give another option to choose, in same area if settings, that will alert or not, on each specified distance (2km, 1km, 500m etc). Give another option to give continuous alert for speed cameras (instead of alerting on each of above distances), with intervals every 1second, 2 seconds......5 seconds. Also give option to choose any sound for the alert. To choose a volume for the alert from Settings, so in case of low volume, alert will not be lost.
   In this way users can choose:
   1) The distance that notification will start for police cameras (2km, 1km, 500m etc.)
   2) Whether they want to be notified or not, in every of the above distance (2km, 1km, 500m, etc)
   3) Whether they want to be notified or not, in specified intervals (1second, 2 seconds) until they reach the camera.
   4) To choose any sound alert for camera.
   5) To choose a volume for the alert from Settings, so in case of low volume, alert will not be lost. In this case the new feature, must override system volume.

7. Unable to Submit Reports When Toast Messages (e.g. Tollbooth, Speed Bump) Appear

   I’ve noticed an issue when trying to submit a report while driving near certain map elements such as tollbooths or speed bumps. When the short “toast” messages like “Tollbooth ahead” or “Speed bump” appear, they overlap the Submit button on the report screen. This makes the button temporarily inaccessible, preventing me from submitting the report until the toast message disappears.

   It would be great if the UI could adjust to prevent this overlap — for example, by repositioning the toast message or allowing the report submission button to remain accessible at all times.

8. Indication of danger zones even without navigation

   Is it possible to receive notifications of danger zones even when using Waze without navigation?
   Living in France, we have danger zones, not speed cameras.
   The problem is that the danger zone notifications only exist when using navigation with Waze, and if no one reports a speed camera, we don't receive any notifications!

9. Calculate fuel consumption and show cost of the route

   It would be great to be able to enter the average fuel consumption for certain speeds for your vehicle and then while calculating show also the cost of the route. It can be calculated by known speeds on the road, the need to stop and go on traffic lights, the overall profile of the route.    Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

10. tollbooth, speed limit and precise location.

    • Add tollbooth to settings under alerts and report to be able to toggle on/off.

    • Option to use speed limit feature without speedometer.

    • Location is not precise. When making a turn the location updates after making the whole turn instead of following precise location while turning like other apps. Also, many times the map will show you at another location and it would start jumping locations like crazy.

    Please take this suggestions under consideration. Waze is already the drivers' preferred app, don't let us have to deal with things like this that just make our experience uncomfortable and many times inconvenient. WE LOVE WAZE! Please keep improving it for the better 🙏

12. Settings for types of alerts to allow

    There are many types of alerts the Waze client can display as a layer on the map and/or pop up on your screen, sometimes both visual and audible. We would like to see an new Settings area added for the types of alerts we want to see and/or ignore and never have a notification appear or be heard.

    The notifications should include at least, but not necessarily limited to:
    Speed cams
    Red light cams
    Police (speed trap)
    Road Hazards
    Road segment speed condition
    Traffic Jams
    Chit Chat
    Accident

    Great news! For each type of report/alert you’re able to specify whether you’d like it do be displayed on the route. Accessed via Settings – Alerts&Reports – Reports. What’s more, you can choose area (e.g. 5 km around you) for which reports will be displayed on the map.

    1- Permitir que um editor (acima de um certo nível) possa fazer marcações permanentes ou para rever no Map Editor à posteriore, exemplos:

    *Marcar uma lombada de velocidade na via,
    *Inserir um novo posto de combustível na via,
    *Marcar uma via como paralelepíped,
    etc.

    2- Permitir novos avisos como:

    • Perigo -> Semáforo quebrado,

15. Auto-pause voice-nav-alert prompts based on GPS speed

    While temporarily stopped for fuel, groceries, restroom breaks, it's annoying to hear turn left at State Road 19 navigation prompts from my back pocket. Can you automatically silence voice prompts based on gps speed? Of course this would need to be a user preference config. I saw a manual pause feature request, but I imagine drivers would get annoyed if they forget to re-enable it. The tech exists to auto-pause / auto-resume.

18. Traking travel

    When phone connect to car , autostart Waze, saving address During travel record position on map, with speed. When stop car shut down save position and stop waze. Result : map of trip can be available, including road used and speed top and average. Trafic condition can be automatic for or wazers because all cars speed are record and compared with speed limit of roads (if under limit mean trafic, difference in percentage show the trafic density). Look to have one idea Vezma App. Make what I suggest but don't do all that Vaze offer.

20. Manually set Speeds for different vehicle setups

    I use Waze to drive a jeep, jeep & trailer, bus and trucks.

    Legally towing, bus & truck must travel at lower speeds in the cars and jeeps.

    It would be really helpful if we could:

    1) create different vehicle profiles for the same driver and switch between them.

    2) Have the option to be able to manually input the max speeds for vehicle profile eg National roads in Ireland are 80km for bus, truck and towing and 100km for bus and 90km for truck and towing on motorways. This would be more for calculating journey times than speed warnings as most trucks and buses would have speed limiters but the journey time can be very misleading.

    3) Set an average speed estimate as a base. Example if I'm towing horses and the route is not a big straight road, while the legal speed limit might be 80km, I know I'm going to be not getting anywhere near that so an option for estimate average time could be really useful to calculate journey times. Or yesterday, I drove a tour group to Connemara and while I knew the road, I hadn't driven it with a bus and the journey time was 20-25min longer than predicted. Knowing more accurate journey times would be fantastic to plan proper breaks for the the tacho.

    4) may not be feasible but parking for bus / coaches / trucks / trailers would be super helpful as well.

    These should be relatively easy to implement. Of course details like sharp turns, low bridges etc and unsuitable routes would be really helpful also but more difficult to implement and I still wouldn't drive a route I didn't know from an app, I'd ask another driver. However planning journey times would be really helpful to have better estimates.
