Informing WAZE of blocked roads is problematic
Informing WAZE of blocked roads is problematic. There should be just one quick button which only says blocked and is used when the road that WAZE recommended was not taken because it was blocked. Currently a four way intersection has four choices on which part is blocked but you cannot stop in the middle of a busy intersection to tell WAZE which of the four roads is blocked. Past the intersection, it is difficult to enter this data into WAZE while still driving. A single blocked button will let WAZE figure out which recommended road was not taken.

Bottom Bar.
The bar at the bottom that has search and carpool need to have a button to turn it off. It is not needed while driving and when on my motorcycle and my phone is turned on its side the bar takes up over half my screen making it impossible to see the map.

Create a "memory mode" for operation without internet accesses
Create a "memory mode" for operation without internet accesses.
The memory mode should store the information about where you drive up to XX minutes (to be configured by the user) and will be fed to internet when then network is available again.
This feature will help to log off-road and path in mountain where the cell phone coverage is bad.

Alert while not in navigation
It would be great that Waze can alert you even if you are not enter the route so if you just launch the app and start driving.
You won’t enter destination and selecting route if you’re driving to work every day but you still can get the ticket for speeding..3 votes -
Make the previous/next song buttons larger in the Spotify window.
Make the hitboxes of these buttons larger, so it is easier to change songs while driving.
For example they could receive touches from the left- or rightmost part of their row in the Spotify window.

Bug: iOS - waze never sticks to itinerary B or C. It always reroute to A
Ex: choose route B or C in order to get to destination. As soon as you start driving wase reroutes you to option A which you intentionally discarded

New adult looking display... The update looks like a child designed it
The new update on Android really killed Waze in my opinion. I like the new button layout and placements, but there are a few problems with the display.
a) Color scheme - Looks like a child colored it in. I would like not so vibrant colors and more professional looking.
b) The view port - It seems to show much more of the road you have already passed than it did before the update. I'm not concerned with the road I have already driven on, I would much rather see more ahead.

A way to edit the map when not driving or passenger
So I’m driving and I see a horrible accident on the other side of the road or on my side of the road. I’m focused on driving and I get a mile away from the initial accident there’s no way to go back and report it’s only when driving. Maybe I can get to report an accident on the other side but I don’t have the ability to report maybe it’s blocking the right hand lane as well there is no way to report that either as of now too. Event report icon should not open a menu when car is moving; menu would open after car stops. This would reduce risk of accidents
When driving, it is hard to make an event report, since we need about 3 clicks and reading information on screen.
I suggest that, when the car is moving, clicking the event report icon doesn't open a menu. Waze memorizes current position for later report details.
When the car stops, voice guidance would ask "do you want to report what happened back there?" - then the report menu would open.
This would help the driver to keep attention on the road.
If driver feels comfortable with filling reports while driving, this could be changed on settings screen. However, I believe…

If I Search for Home Depot and there are 10 stores within my area, please list them in order of driving time
Search Sort order should allow choice for by driving time. So if I’m choosing which store to go to for a chain store that has multiple locations and it’s rush hour, I can choose the quickest one to get to, which is not necessarily the closest.

Fix the follow my friend, it used to show the icon and how far. Also bring back the moving icon on the follow my friend drive
The map used to have a feature that would have a friends icon that would move on the map instead of every 5 or 10 minutes. Also can you fix the follow my friend on the home map that used to show as a icon of your friend on the right side along with their status if there trip.

AskWazersBox - a hybrid reporting tool enhancing Wazers and Map Editors cooperation
As StreetView is often outdated or just does not exist when trying to keep Waze Maps updated with latest road constructions or changes, road configurations/restrictions/speed limits/signs etc. needs to be checked and verified on-spot. There's no chance Waze Map Editors will go and check everything themselves. We have so many Wazers driving around that could help them answering specific questions.
I suggest creating a hybrid reporting tool that would extend existing reporting functionality and help Waze Map Editors gathering specific answers they need directly from Wazers who are on-spot. This would let to keep Waze Maps updated as fast and…

use Android API for event buttons and text input
to report traffic/event irrelevancy it is darn hard to hit that tiny round button with a caret (>) at the end of the event item. instead I should be able to use a long press on a much broader list item to pop up the menu. also, the menu that pops up ought to be from the API. it would create bigger buttons (better for touch sensitive devices) and makes for a much more consistent device use experience plus it would make it more accessible while driving. More accessible means less accidents.

quick Location marker button
Please add the option that with a click of one button or one touch of the screen that would mark the exact location of the incident or notification to be made. This would greatly improve the accuracy of the reports being made. From experience, reports are made a good distance away from the incident depending on how fast driving, how safe it is to make the report at the time, or how fast one comes up on the item to report.

parking lot landmarks / traffic analysis
I would like to see certain landmarks not count as traffic analysis. If an area is marked as a restaurant, parking lot, gas station, etc.. the time a waze client spends there should NOT count against traffic analysis. Wazers can't be expecte to turn their nav system on and off just to order a burger, or fill up the tank. Bike icon choice please
A bit more than one bike icon. At least a few colours to select if not sports , sports tourers and even cruisers. I ride a triumph Sprint ST.
This isn't so strange as the one thing that ALL bike riders share...is a passion for their transport.
Car users aren't as widely passionate about what they drive but of course many of them are.
