Switch map and directions on android devices to left or right
My car is a left hand drive vehicle however while using the app on an android headunit the directions are on the left side of the screen while the map is on the right hand side of the screen which is very hard to see. I suggest an option if your car is a left hand drive vehicle to swap these two and revert back if it is a right hand drive vehicle.

Fix the drive time planner under “arrive at”
Every single time I check how long it takes to get somewhere now, then hit leave at and scroll to when I want to arrive, waze underestimated the time. Ex: just now, takes 20 minutes if I leave now, hit arrive at in 30 minutes, says 15 minutes, even though the bars on the right are still the same, meaning no change in traffic volumes. A way to report Gas Stations or EV Stations that are out of service or out of gas
Normally during storms, people will stock up on gasoline and stores may run out of gas to sell. Having a feature that allows users to report when gas stations are out of gas or EV stations are out of service on the Waze app would be incredibly useful for drivers. Not only would it save time and frustration by allowing drivers to avoid gas stations that are out of service, but it could also help promote safer driving practices. Alerts based on Route
Since Waze has the ability to track your trips I came up with this.
Lets say you drive to work everyday. You know their are 5 Speed Cameras, 4 Construction Zones and 6 Potholes. Waze should automatically disable it's alerts if you are familiar with the Route.
Lets say it disables it when Waze knows you have been on the same Route for at least a week.
Now if for example later on in the future there is a new Construction, or SpeedCamera installed on the same route it alerts you since it's new.

Bug: iOS - waze never sticks to itinerary B or C. It always reroute to A
Ex: choose route B or C in order to get to destination. As soon as you start driving wase reroutes you to option A which you intentionally discarded

Track my car's vitals; build database for community benefits
This is a big idea, no small undertaking I know. I'd like to combine my GPS app with the functionality of an app like Gas Cubby, which tracks my MPG at every fill-up and alerts me when my car is due for maintenance.
Here's how I envision it:

Separate the Confirm or Deny buttons on the Screen by a lot more-
On a phone screen, the button to confirm a hazard/etc is too close to the button for negating the hazard. While driving, especially if you hit a bump, the chance of hitting the wrong button would be greatly reduced if the separation between the two buttons were greater. For instance if the confirm button was on one side of the screen and the deny button was on the opposite side of the screen.

An option to tell Waze it's got me pointed in the wrong direction
When I'm trying to add a stop before I start driving and Waze has me pointed in the wrong direction, it'll suggest stops that are further off-route than it realizes because once I get started the route will be recalculated based on my actual direction of travel. If I could just tap the "me" icon and say "point me the other way!" that'd be tremendously helpful.

parking lot landmarks / traffic analysis
I would like to see certain landmarks not count as traffic analysis. If an area is marked as a restaurant, parking lot, gas station, etc.. the time a waze client spends there should NOT count against traffic analysis. Wazers can't be expecte to turn their nav system on and off just to order a burger, or fill up the tank. Fix the follow my friend, it used to show the icon and how far. Also bring back the moving icon on the follow my friend drive
The map used to have a feature that would have a friends icon that would move on the map instead of every 5 or 10 minutes. Also can you fix the follow my friend on the home map that used to show as a icon of your friend on the right side along with their status if there trip.

quick Location marker button
Please add the option that with a click of one button or one touch of the screen that would mark the exact location of the incident or notification to be made. This would greatly improve the accuracy of the reports being made. From experience, reports are made a good distance away from the incident depending on how fast driving, how safe it is to make the report at the time, or how fast one comes up on the item to report.

Have Waze automatically detect your speed on major roads
I drive the same busy highway every morning (I-64) here in the Hampton Roads of Virginia. A major section of it is under construction. Instead of passengers and/or drivers taking their eyes off the road to manually enter moderate/heavy/standstill traffic, it would be nice for Waze to automatically detect it and publish it to the map since there are enough people using Waze in this area. Informing WAZE of blocked roads is problematic
Informing WAZE of blocked roads is problematic. There should be just one quick button which only says blocked and is used when the road that WAZE recommended was not taken because it was blocked. Currently a four way intersection has four choices on which part is blocked but you cannot stop in the middle of a busy intersection to tell WAZE which of the four roads is blocked. Past the intersection, it is difficult to enter this data into WAZE while still driving. A single blocked button will let WAZE figure out which recommended road was not taken.

Hazard ahead “Still There?” Buttons distracting
Hazard warnings for stopped vehicles are sometimes accompanied by radio buttons to confirm whether the vehicle is still in the same place or not.
These buttons are WAY too bright and large, almost blinding when I’m driving at night.
Please make these less distracting. My passenger can fill in your update report.

A way to edit the map when not driving or passenger
So I’m driving and I see a horrible accident on the other side of the road or on my side of the road. I’m focused on driving and I get a mile away from the initial accident there’s no way to go back and report it’s only when driving. Maybe I can get to report an accident on the other side but I don’t have the ability to report maybe it’s blocking the right hand lane as well there is no way to report that either as of now too. Alert Not Disappearing
When an alert pops up it will not disappear like it used to. I need to be able to see the map and sometimes I don't have availability to say whether something is there or not. Please fix this error and make the alerts disappear again after a short period of time so they're not blocking half your screen for the remainder of the drive.
