Change speed limit during raod works
Being able to change a road/street max speed/speed limit during road works
ex : road works for 1 month, speed limit changed from 70 kmh to 50 kmh during that time and waze doesn't "beep" when you exceed it... this is problematic when there's a mobile radar.5 votes -
Alert for run-down animals
English: We members of a robotics team created a new Waze alert. Imagine how much will be feasible alert when someone saw or trampled an animal? Usually the people don’t know what do when they trample an animal, if the Waze has this option the rescue of these animals will be easier of be accomplished and the animals will not die for staying for a long time waiting to they be ransomed.

Please allow Waze to rotate when the phone is upside down this occurred on my old iPhone but when I upgrade that feature was lost. It makes charging and using Waze impossible in my car. Super annoying and pretty much a deal breaker for me.

Option to TURN OFF Photos
Privacy and Security Risk! Accidentally touched screen at destination and it suddenly took a picture with flash and message it would send to Waze users. My camera was not set to allow Waze app access. We have to have options to (1) Turn Off Camera to Waze (2) confirm and approve upload or distribution of a photo taken -- no confirmation then it should automatically dump the data. Basic Privacy, Google.

Move Icon
A way to move the icon that you just reported. When I am a passenger, I don't normally open Waze. So when I see something to report, I am usually late reporting it due to loading on my phone or just finding my phone. Would be nice to be able to move the icon to where the alert should be.

Mobile Version for WME with a Touchscreen Interface
With a simple interface and adapted for 10 'inch tablets and small netbooks. It should be possible to use as touchscreen.

Separate the Confirm or Deny buttons on the Screen by a lot more-
On a phone screen, the button to confirm a hazard/etc is too close to the button for negating the hazard. While driving, especially if you hit a bump, the chance of hitting the wrong button would be greatly reduced if the separation between the two buttons were greater. For instance if the confirm button was on one side of the screen and the deny button was on the opposite side of the screen.

Freezing when connected to Apple Carplay.
This happens a lot of times when I connect to apple car play via lightning to USB. It becomes unresponsive and I have to either unplug my phone and plug it back in or turn off my car and turn it back on again. Please fix it.

Fix Waze for apple car play w Audi a4
Fix waze w car play. With latest apple update waze with car play wipes out steering wheel map. Phone only shows directions and can’t report accidents backups police or anything. Waze map only shows up on center screen

Use smart-band's vibrator to notify a danger zone
Because I'm a motorcycle pilot, I need to be more focus on the road than any other vehicules.
I just got a Xiaomi Mi Band which is a BLE health tracker.
This BLE smart-band contains a vibrator and has libraries available for iOS and Android to communicate with (eg. vibration control).It would be just AWESOME if my smart-band could vibrate when I enter a danger zone. Like that I would not have to always take a risk by looking down on my phone while driving.

Disable Speed Limit Warning Beep

I almost deleted Waze from my iPhone - instead just disable bluetooth on my phone - which kills hands-free phone which is NOT ACCEPTABLE either
You simply MUST MUST MUST make it possible for the user to DISABLE the DAMM SPEED LIMIT CHIRP
This thing goes off 10 times in a 5-mile local stretch of road, interrupting radio and other media playing on the audio system.
My Escort 360 keeps me well appraised of the limits, as does Waze with the red speed limit circle. Wazers deserve the option to NOT BE OVERLOADED…3 votes -
Launch Waze automatically when driving
It's rather annoying for me having to remember to launch the Waze app every time I start driving somewhere. Would it be possible for the app to detect that you are driving and launch automatically? Preferably with as little battery drain as possible.

Oled mode
Make a interface theam that is all black screen but with roads in road colours on compleatly black backgrond and text in normal colours eg white green blue ect with speedo as standard so as little of the screen is lit up as possible as i find my phone get very hot when running with display on and eats battory i have switch to night mode and found an improvement but i think with a true minimalistic oled mode devices will run much cooler and battory lasts longer but will only help oled devices 👌

Temporary Speed Limits for Road Works
I would like to suggest adding functionality to Waze that supports temporary speed limits on road segments affected by road works. This would work similarly to the current "Closures" feature in the Waze Map Editor (WME).
Reason for Request:
This summer, we have received numerous reports from drivers through the mobile app, indicating incorrect speed limits displayed on roads under construction. Burn in Screen
I am using Waze everyday in my car however; recently I have noted that the waze interface is causing my AMOLED screen to show a shadow screen of waze even while I am in other apps. I was wondering if the waze display screen items location can be changed randomly on an occasional basis to avoid such issues on the phone screens. The Report button was designed to be noticed while blending in and it’s important to keep it as is.
However, we will revisit this idea when working on Dark mode, in the future. Furthermore, since this is a physical issue that OLED phones suffer from in different apps, we recommend to use Battery Saver mode to allow your display some rest from bright colors that might lead to this dysfunction.

Double Screen mode
Waze does not allow double screen mode. It would be very simple and usefull !
Phone screens are getting bigger and you can even have a tablet in your car now. Double screen mode would allow users to use waze while having an eye on another app such as music, car parameters (dashcommand for example) or whatever they want !5 votes
