Motorcycle and rally communities
For people to use Waze for navigation for groups (either leading and or distributing to a group) it would be great IF a person could go to Google Maps, make a route, then send it to Waze for navigation.
I plan group motorcycle rides on Google Maps, but then there is no way for me to get that electronically over to GPS (I use my Android phone (waze) for navigation).
I wind up still printing the Google Maps and putting them in my Tank back to follow.. Seems so 2005,,,8 votes -
Waze microphone usage instead of Google Assistant (Local language issue)
The waze app is working well on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e).
My problem is starting when I connect to Auto Android in my car (BMW 5 year: 2023)
All of my devices are set to Hungarian language (car + phone + waze)
I could add any address by voice in Hungarian languge before the newest version of Auto Android.
NOW I can use Hungarian language directly on the phone when I open the waze app but if I connect to the car the mic icon change to Google assistant which can not speak Hungarian!Can you please place the…

Configurable sound outputs in Android App
Currently, the Android App is working in an unsatisfying way:
In the Settings menu, under Sound, I've enabled the option to play sounds using the phone's speaker.
When I plug in my earphones in my phone (a Samsung Galaxy S6) I expect all sound to be diverted to the earphones, not being played in the public speaker.Waze does not behave like this. It plays the sound in the speaker regardless of the cable.
My request is to let the user configure, in detail, where the sound should go.

Enhanced Visual Warning for Speed and Red-Light Cameras
I would like to propose an additional visual alert system for speed and red-light cameras within Waze. The idea is to introduce a transparent red overlay that flashes on the screen as drivers approach a camera location.
This feature would serve as a strong visual cue, especially for users who may not always be actively looking at their GPS display or listening to audio directions. The flashing overlay would draw immediate attention and help ensure drivers are more aware of upcoming enforcement zones.

Able a shortcut icon on your cellphone home screen for your favorite addresses.
Instead to open the app, go to favorites, then select one favorite address, how about able icons to be added on your cell phone home screen, so we quickly get ready to go.

Live map (browser) - allow add drive-trough points, and save route w points to phone to use later (planned trips)
In convenient large browser version on desktop/notebook, live map view, it is IMPOSSIBLE to handpick specific point to avoid rerouting trough other contry highway nearby etc... If someone tells me specifically i need to use some route point to pass trough, i want the ability to set it, conveniently on pc, and then share the whoule segmented route to phone - now on live map there is no way to add points to route

Pausing Waze when there's an incoming call.
When someone calls, Waze keeps saying the navigation instructions, and therefore making it impossible to hear the person you're talking to!
It should be possible to automatically pause it everytime the phone gets calls.3 votes -
Traffic incidents, Speed traps Police Trap
Dear S/M
Im a very keen Waze user, the only suggestion I would like to make is regarding announcements of speed and police traps or other traffic incidents. These according to my driving experience using Waze should be made not only once or little bit earlier but also at least three times (for ex. 1x1000m 2x500m 3x200m) before arriving at the certain point.
Especially the ones reported by the other Waze users, because oftenly for example when I see something to report, it takes other 200-300 meters until I take the phone in my hand and finally push the reporting…7 votes -
Traffic Alerts
Give drivers the option to manually enter a traffic incident ( police, speed camera etc) on the map rather than only allowing the them to report an incident on their tracking location. This can allow a driver to go a different direction or go past an incident and still enter an alert accurately for other drivers. Also allow an option for speed camera alone, because it is difficult to differentiate from police or a speed trap.

improve voice recognition
I assumed that Waze was using similar voice recognition engine to Google. But I have the worst time getting Waze to recognize my voice. It's not me nor my phone. I can say to Waze "Ok Waze report police ahead" and nine times out of ten it'll say "sorry I didn't recognize that". If I hit the home button (to bring up home screen and have Google Assistant take over) I can say Ok Google take a note report police ahead" and it'll correctly create a note "report police ahead"
I assume that Waze's voice recognition would be better…

I live next to an intersection with a camera, and waze always reminds me it's there. I wish there was a way I could suppress certain permanents .

I need Waze to block all iOS popups while running.
I need Waze to block all iOS popups while running. Sometimes a "select wifi" popup blocks my screen while driving. Other times I get SMS/texts blocking the view. I don't want to start fiddling with the mobile while driving so I hope you can block them automatically

audio gets quiet when switching audio sources
My normal use of Waze is this: iPhone in dash mount, Instacast playing podcasts in background and Waze in foreground.
Sometimes the main audio output gets quieter after Waze overlays a warning prompt or a phone call comes in. I can rarely fix it just with volume controls, but killing Waze fixes it every time.

Control music from Waze
Hi the wazers,
I would like propose something.
When I am driving I cannot change the music of my phone from the waze application.
Could you add a banner to change music without leave the app ? This functionality will parfaitly match with my needs.
I have heard that you have a partnership with spotify, that would be great.

Can't listen to radio and use Waze if I have bluetooth
Please, give me a way to have my phone connected to my car's bluetooth, listen to the radio, AND hear Waze prompts through my phone's audio! Apparently you used to have a "Prefer Bluetooth" toggle that I could turn off, but it doesn't exist in the version I have. Why would you get rid of this? Now my choices are silence from Waze while I listen to the radio, dead silence in the car until I get a Waze prompt, or turn off Bluetooth completely so that Waze will play through my phone speakers.

- Why not have an actual accessible tech support email system that can be found and used?
- After my phone went from Lollipop to Marshmallow, the Waze map disappeared. And navigation wasn't possible. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Lost my registration

Enable full control in the app using voice only
Add an option to interact with the app using voice control
for instance :
reporting an obstacle on the road using Siri/Google assistant,
rerouting to a new destination while driving,
share your location using a voice command.
All these options should prevent the user from touching the phone while driving and decrease distractions.
The convenience of using the app while talking only will increase the amount of users reporting , and interacting with the many options given in the app.

Ford Sync integration
Later this year, Ford will release the APIs for integrating apps with vehicles that have Sync. Waze could use the vehicle's on-board GPS, speedometer, and other data instead of running the phone's GPS.
