1. AA and google assistant permissions

   When phone is connected to car via android auto, to use waze on car tablet, two critical issues happen.

   First: if i do this after i start driving, it asks to stop the car to make the connection, which is simply moronic. Cant do that just anywhere. This does not improve the safety, quite the opposite. Let the connection be made on the go, as it used to be.

   Second: It asks for permissions for google assistant to copy phone content on google servers and AA does not start until an answer is given. I DO NOT WANT TO ALLOW THAT! So i answer no everytime. Please add an option to answer "no thanks, and do not ask me again", so it can start without any interaction with the phne, as it used to be. The way it works now is a big safety hazard, road safety primarily.

2. Dark mode always slider volvo Google please

4. How about making it work on Google Pixel XL?

   Not compatible with this particular phone and when I logged in I lost all my previous use. Plus the map doesn't work

5. Waze microphone usage instead of Google Assistant (Local language issue)

   The waze app is working well on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e).
   My problem is starting when I connect to Auto Android in my car (BMW 5 year: 2023)
   All of my devices are set to Hungarian language (car + phone + waze)
   I could add any address by voice in Hungarian languge before the newest version of Auto Android.
   NOW I can use Hungarian language directly on the phone when I open the waze app but if I connect to the car the mic icon change to Google assistant which can not speak Hungarian!

   Can you please place the same mic icon to the search bar in the car version as it is in the phone version.

7. Under fire area and relevant closures in Google Maps are missing in Waze

   A severe fire was ongoing the previous weeks near our capital city in Greece, covering a vast area. While Google Maps is aware of the area that is under fire and has imposed relevant closures, I notice that in Waze, there are no closures in the same area at all.

   I believe that it is very important for Waze to be able to pull such data from Google Maps in case of emergencies like fires, so it can protect and inform intime the drivers.

9. Copy-pasting coordinates from Google Maps includes parentheses.

   Hello WAZE team, I have been using WAZE for almost over 8 years. Sometimes when I copy an address from Google Maps and ask for directions, the final destination ends up being incorrectly set on a highway or a blocked road, causing inconvenience as the destination is not accurately set. To solve this, I copy the exact coordinates from Google Maps and use them. Previously, when I entered coordinates like (48.1373294682532, 11.575360369297023), it would lead me to the precise location, and I would reach the exact destination. However, now it says that the destination cannot be found because of the parentheses, so every time I paste coordinates from Google Maps, I have to manually delete the parentheses, which is quite bothersome. Google provides copying only with the parentheses. Could you please update the system so that even if the coordinates are entered with parentheses, it can still search the location for faster navigation?

11. Google results be suppressed when a Waze place exists to avoid confusion.

    Someone at Waze has been helping me with an issue on an incorrect Google address. He recommended that when Waze has the information correct, that the Google results be suppressed when a Waze place exists. This is a great idea to avoid confusion when the Google location is wrong and has not yet been corrected.

13. Autodetect closures and closed roads

    Waze should automatically detect closures and close roads without relying on Wazers to use the in-app closure function or on map editors to add them. Just as Waze can detect traffic and reroute, it could also detect when no one follows the directed guidance and there is zero traffic on a segment. Then when Wazer start driving on the segment again it could reopen.

    Google Maps (part of Google Geo) gets closure info from Waze. And Waze (part of Google Geo) should also get closure info from Google Maps. It doesn't now, and instead will route Wazers into a closed road, even though Google Maps already shows the road closed and routes Google Maps users around the closure.

14. Get rid of Google

    Cuz Waze juzt plain sucks now. I love it when you give alternate routes and I pick one because I sure as hell know this area better than your AI and I also know what happens when the area has an event. Three times, THREE in 10 minutes I have to pick an alternate route today because your app ignores the route I have picked and sends me right into the area which I am trying to avoid. Your app frequently costs me time, costs me money and complete aggregation over the sheer idiocy of this exact issue. This will be the third time now that I am uninstalling it in a year over this very issue.
    I keep giving it a chance based on what it used to be but once Waze sold out to Google and became the in GPS app, it became stupid. Imagine a GPS app that completely ignores the users input thinking that it knows far better than the user the reasons the user has for not wanting to take one of its offered routes.
    That arrogance smacks of Google.
    So thanks Waze. Thanks for turning a 30 minute drive into a 2 hour nightmare. Go back to what you once were.
    And no. A fastest route setting does not mean it should alter a chosen route. Especially three freaking times in 10 minutes.

15. Pause Google News from playing when Waze is talking.

    Waze is always talking over Google News. Very annoying. It would be much better to pause the News so things are not missed.

    Alors tout comme nous mettons de plus en plus en avant les parkings lors de long trajet sur l'autoroute il est conseillé de prendre régulièrement des pauses se dégourdir les jambes s'aéré changer de conducteur quand cela est possible ... puis bon certaines envie pressante (pas besoin d'un dessin) une option afin d'alerter de l'air de repos la plus proches ou la possibilités de les repéré facilement sans avoir a les chercher via les panneau etc qui nous ajouterais l'air la plus proche dans le parcoure.

18. Routing quality has plummeted after the Google acquisition - please get it back in shape!

    I am a passionate Waze user who has converted many friends to the app, and has become a top 4% reporting contributor (I don't participate at all in any other gamified apps or websites). But now my support is waning fast.

    Ever since Google bought Waze, routing has progressively become worse and worse. I initially switched to Waze because Google Maps routing had become horrible - inefficient routes when there were obviously better ways to go, etc. Waze does awesomely creative things like telling me to get off the freeway at an exit then immediately hop back on - Google never ever did that!

    Now Waze is infected by the same disease and I want to cry, as I live in a traffic-snarled Texas city and in the past Waze has saved me so much time – I don't want to lose my helpful friend!

    For example, a route I take 3 times a week stopped defaulting to or even offering as an option the path I always take (initially taught to me by Waze, and incredibly traffic-resistant and consistently fast). Instead, Waze gives me 3 often-traffic-snarled-and-unreliable options.

    In other spots in my home city, on a road I drive with Waze active 3+ times a day, Waze tells me to veer off the usual path on a new road that just got built. It thinks this would be faster, but it is obviously a poor idea, in addition to not being something that should be shown given how much route-training I've given Waze over the past 9+ months (100s of trips).

    Also, when I've been traveling recently, Waze has given me horrible routes, routes that were obviously bad even to someone who'd never been there before.

    I've tried reporting routing errors via the report feature in the app, but Map Editors have responded that they have no control over the macro issues I have reported. As well, it takes too much work to report micro issues, such as the consistent issue 2 paragraphs up with the single road I often drive. Map Editors don't see exactly what I see in the app nor my routing options (they said they see very little info).

    I first loved Waze because it was creative with routing, and then I became a top 4% user, and now I have no idea what to do....

    After the latest update, when I click on a calendar event on Google Calendar it then goes to Waze but does nothing.

    Malheureusement la mise à jour fait que sur les anciennes voitures comme la mienne qui est une Jetta 2016 avec un écran un peu plus petit j'ai maintenant de la misère lire le nom des sorties c'était beaucoup mieux avant pourquoi ne pas avoir deux versions d'interface une pour les nouveaux écrans qui sont beaucoup plus grands et une pour les anciens qui en plus n'ont pas besoin d'être en haute définition donc les images ne prendront pas beaucoup de place dans le fichier APK
