New Parking Lot Subcategory - Curbside Pickup Parking
We have the option to select if a business has a Curbside Pickup option, but we have no way to designate where this area is. I feel as though this would a great addition to WME and the app overall

Have a checkbox for a Gas Station to be able choose if it has a different price for cash vs credit or even cash/credit vs membership card
If a gas station places could have an option to choose if there are two different prices for gas depending on how you pay would be very helpful. For example, Cumberland Farms here in the states always has 2 different prices; one for cash/credit and another for their Smartpay App/card

Show a character counter for entering a name of an event
Since the name length of a traffic event is technically restricted also the WME limits the name input after the maximum length ist reached
(https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-map-editor-suggestions/suggestions/41814004-limit-name-input-in-event-mode implemented). It would be even more helpful if there would be a char counter that shows the remaining length for the name.
This requested behavior is already the case for entry boxes of map comments and URs.

Editing fuel types for each Gaz station in WME
It would be nice if the types of fuel at Gas stations could be created, selected and sorted for each specific Gas station when editing directly in the WME.
The main thing is that for each Gas station it was possible to create its own set of fuel types.
For example:
for one - Gas, 92, 95, Diesel
for the other - 92, 95, 98, Diesel
etc.Because all Gas stations are Different!!!

Connect an Advertising Pin to its Place on the WME
Very often it happens that advertising pins are not placed in the correct place on the map, which leads to routing errors. It would be very useful to be able to link these Pins to the corresponding Place entered by the editors in the correct place in the WME, so that the routing to these destinations works correctly. (as we already do for the link to Places on Google Maps).

Work closer with scripters
Develop a closer working relationship with scripters. They provide great tools that make the time we can devote to editing far more productive - UNTIL the scripts are broken when WME is updated. When possible incorporate script functionality into native code.

Differentiate between area map comments and point comments
It would be great if it would be made possible to select to only see point map comments and/or area map comments.
Area map comments are quite intrusive, leading to a lot of editors switching off the comment layer. As a result they sometimes miss useful information and make unnecessary edits.
If you can choose to only see one type of comment, that would be very helpful.

New WME Layer - Submitted Imagery
Google-provided aerial imagery is very outdated in places, being at least 6 years old in the area I live. Even in more recent areas, there are new developments and intersections which have been built since. I suggest a way for experienced (lvl 3+?) editors to submit personal drone shots or publicly-available renderings of new developments to be added to a new layer on the map editor. This would make editing updated areas significantly more accurate, and provide a way to confirm the new developments before GPS traces are available. It would also make such imagery accessible to all map editors.

Show the source of an UR: app or livemap
Users can now create URs from the livemap, at any location, while UR created via the app are automatically located at the actual position of the user.
When handling an UR, it is useful to know if the UR has been created via the app, by a user actually present at the location, or via the livemap, which allows to create a UR at any location.
Knowing the source helps analysing the UR.17 votes -
I495 on long island
When driving to Long Island, waze insists on traveling on I495. There are so many parkways without trucks on Long Island that you can make better time, yet every time I travel to Long Island it heads towards 495. Today I headed up Northern Parkway,, which waze was heading to eventually, in 8 fun filled miles of sitting. I got off when I saw a sign to Northern Parkway, 4 miles earlier, and took 3 minutes off of my time. I love waze, but Long Island driving is not waze driving. It stears you towards the interstate!

New Description for Retirement/Nursing Homes
When editing the map and adding/editing places, it would be helpful if we could have a category for Nursing/Retirement Homes and Senior Centers. The number of seniors continues to grow, and having this category available would be a nice addition.

Allow hyphenated house numbers in RPPs
In my AM in Iowa there are several neighborhoods that have hyphenated house numbers. Here's an example: https://beta.waze.com/editor?env=usa&lat=42.40782&lon=-91.76381&zoom=6 Since they are on a private road RPPs should be used but can't be because hyphens are not permitted.

Events: additional tickbox "event needs push notification"
Requesting push notifications for events through the editors' community still doesn't work very well and is not rewarding.
Now contributors get a notification if their event was published by Waze staff but they get no notification about the event being reviewed at first. If Waze decided to not send a notification, the contributor doesn't get to know the reason, nor the information that the decision has been made! When I enter major events I -as a local member- often know that they have a high impact on traffic in the near area.
I suggest adding a tickbox to clearly show…

One Speed Camera (or similar) for various segments/roads...
Speed Cameras...
Currently, when a speed camera is cataloged on the map, it only serves the way/segment in which one driver/Wazer travels, being placed in the direction of traffic, acknowledging its presence in the app about 500 meters before.
However, there are access ways to the main road where that camera is located, access ways that are "within" the speed camera's angle of the main road and access ways where the speed camera does not "beep" because it is located in another street/road...
At this moment, the only way to beep on the 2 lanes (or 3 or 4 lanes/streets/roads…

Automatically send UR reminders and mark as 'not identified' if no reply
User Reports (URs) come in by the truckload. Despite a message from an investigating editor, only 10% of URs will receive a reply. This represents a significant amount of time by editors, particularly senior editors managing large areas, to the manual handling of individual URs. Since 90% of the URs result in the same process, help us streamline and automated it so we can focus our valuable time on productive investigations and edits that will value add to Waze.
I propose an additional tick box under "Follow conversation" that says along the lines "Auto reminder and mark as not identified."

Event with more than one other language
At the moment it is only possible to enter an englisch and optional one other language name for an WME Event.
Can this limit be increased for optional up to 4 or 5 names (including the englisch language)? That would be a gread addition for events that have official names for more than two languages, espiaclly in regions where boarders with more than one country or countrys which have multiple languages.
As example for boarder regions:
Belgium/Germany/Netherland
Austria/Switzerland/Germany
Austria/Hungary/Slovakia/Czech RepublicAs example for countrys with more than one local language:
Luxemburg (2 languages + englisch)
Switzerland (4 languages are spoken)…13 votes
