Pop-up banners hijack CarPlay functionality
Trying again...
Navigation pop-up banners hijack the functionality of other CarPlay apps. Whenever a Waze banner pops up, it overrides the ability to select any other function in CarPlay. It complicates the simplicity & minimal distraction for which CarPlay is designed. My car has a joystick knob to scroll through & select a CarPlay function, & there is no way to stop these banners from popping up. CarPlay display on iPad / iPad mini > safety
You have already developed a much more readable display for use on CarPlay. It would be very helpful if this was an optional mode on iPad's / iPad mini's. I think it would address the multiple requests for larger fonts etc without a lot of new development work.
I was very disappointed to discover that even though the screen is larger on a iPad or iPad mini than my phone the display uses smaller harder to read text. Considering the entire purpose of the app is to be used while driving I can't understand why you are not working…

Train Tracks (Animated?) On CarPlay
While navigating via CarPlay and seeing train tracks on the display, the track seems animated in a irrelevant way. I understand the perspective of the track changes, as the object moves alongside of it, but the animation is distracting to my opinion. My suggestion would be to minimise the animation by decreasing the times the refreshes. Hopefully this can be fixed, so driving next to train tracks is less distracting. CarPlay car audio Navigation volume test addition
I have noticed in two cars (my 2019 Nissan and a 2019 Subaru) that with CarPlay the "Navigation" volume can only be adjusted when the Waze app is actually "saying" something.
It is possible to stimulate a voice response (change to an alternate route and hit "go" or use the microphone to enter a nonsense command).
The addition of a "test navigation sound" to the "sound options" menu in Waze would be a more helpful and direct method to adjust the car's entertainment system "navigation" volume. Waze could just babble about something and show a tool tip "adjust car audio…10 votes -
Fix Calendar integration with CarPlay
When I have an upcoming Calendar event (or one that's currently active that I'm late to!), Waze on CarPlay displays ... random calendar items, without any regard to prioritizing recent/near ones. It's intensely frustrating, and I often have to switch to Apple Maps, as broken as they frequently are, to get to where I'm going.

Display EV charger availability and location when using Carplay
Current behavior:
When you search an EV Charger in Waze Carplay, it displays a list of EV Charger without the location on the map. Also the charger availability is not displayed. This makes it almost impossible to pick up a convenient EV Charger.Enhancement request: when searching for an EV charger

Voice Reports for CarPlay iOS/Android
As the title reads, this is a highly demanded feature for the public and users of Waze. While driving and seeing a hazard on the road and trying to tap and report the hazard on the infotainment is dangerous!
Please add voice reports support to CarPlay/Android Auto so we could just say using Siri or Google to report any hazards such as example, "Report Police", "Report Left Lane Blocked", etc!

Increase the map speedometer when using Apple Carplay after iOS26 upgrade.
After the iOS26 update when using the Apple Carplay the speedometer was changed to a tinny version, very hard to see when driving. The overall experience with the carplay was better, the new carplay itself changed to a better resolution that fits better the 10inch display of my car, the only exception is the small speedometer used by Waze. Please, add an option that allow the user to configure the size of the speedometer when using Carplay.

Hazard Notification CarPlay UI
The hazard notification and response field for CarPlay integration are positioned in a "top/bottom" organization. When operating a vehicle, selecting the correct response becomes difficult as the vehicle is shifting along the vertical axis. Recommended change is for a "left/right" field selection. This would allow more accurate responses to hazard alerts while vehicle is in operation. There is less of a risk that the user will inadvertently make the unintended selection along the horizontal axis.

Waze on CarPlay not re-rendering the map when screen size changes
It's started recently, I drive Acura RDX 2024, its screen is split into 2 parts, the main screen part and the additional information part. The CarPlay has a button that allows to toggle the CarPlay to be shown only on the main part, or full screen on both parts.
After the tapping the toggle button the CarPlay display size changes and the map disappears and not re-rendering again until switched to another app and then back to Waze.2 votes -
CarPlay report button setting options
Add setting option(s) to the CarPlay report button to make it easier to reach while driving. Either a setting option to reposition the report button to other corners of the screen AND/OR setting option to make the report button run across the entire width of the bottom edge of the screen

CarPlay vertical does not show car on the screen
I have a portrait mode CarPlay screen and when Waze is full screen, my vehicle not on the screen. When I go to the CarPlay dock screen, Waze is the top half of the screen and it works fine.

Cannot read reports from Wazers (green ...) when in CarPlay
When in CarPlay I can sometimes see a report (green ...) but cannot click on it to hear it play nor - when I am the right-side passenger see it on my phone to find out what is ahead. I wish it would play as alerts do - or that my phone would mirror the CarPlay display so I can better navigate from the right seat.

Ajuste no alerta no carplay
No CarPlay, sempre que aparece um alerta cobre o quadro com o tempo restante até o destino de forma que muitas vezes se responde à pergunta "ainda está lá?" confirmando ou negando mas sem saber se a resposta está certa, apenas para poder voltar a ver o quadro com a hora estimada de chegada. Os alertas poderiam ficar acima, sem cobrir o ETA, pois tem espaço e aí as confirmações seriam mais precisas

Live scroll on map in when using Apple CarPlay
Instead of having to select the arrow navigation element and then scroll by selecting arrow keys, allow for live scrolling of the map when displayed on ICE system using Apple CarPlay

Current position on CarPlay screen during notification
When a notification from another app displayed in CarPlay, the current position is not visible in Waze. During this seconds is hard to understand the navigation.

Carplay speed limit
Hello, in the UK version of Waze on Apple Car Play, the speed limit is hidden by the direction box. Can you please put the speed limit on the top left of the screen and not on the right (as there is the direction box already).

toggle for map when on CarPlay
I’ve been using Waze as my primary navigation app, but ever since Waze was made compatible with CarPlay I’ve been unable to view the map on my phone screen. “Just use the map on the radio screen” you might say. My iPhone is mounted next to my heads up display I have to look down when I have ApplePlay on to use the other music apps. Traffic notifications while using CarPlay
In CarPlay when a notification comes up you're forced to react to it with a gesture input to clear it or until another notification comes up. This is frustrating as unless you clear the notification it will permanently prevent viewing other trip information. You can be WELL past the location of the notification and it still remains up unless you physically clear it. Surly it should automatically clear itself once the notification is no longer relevant without a drivers input.
