1. Carplay speed limit

   Hello, in the UK version of Waze on Apple Car Play, the speed limit is hidden by the direction box. Can you please put the speed limit on the top left of the screen and not on the right (as there is the direction box already).

   Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.

2. CarPlay car audio Navigation volume test addition

   I have noticed in two cars (my 2019 Nissan and a 2019 Subaru) that with CarPlay the "Navigation" volume can only be adjusted when the Waze app is actually "saying" something.
   It is possible to stimulate a voice response (change to an alternate route and hit "go" or use the microphone to enter a nonsense command).
   The addition of a "test navigation sound" to the "sound options" menu in Waze would be a more helpful and direct method to adjust the car's entertainment system "navigation" volume. Waze could just babble about something and show a tool tip "adjust car audio volume now" for 20 seconds or until the user exits the test.

3. Traffic notifications while using CarPlay

   In CarPlay when a notification comes up you're forced to react to it with a gesture input to clear it or until another notification comes up. This is frustrating as unless you clear the notification it will permanently prevent viewing other trip information. You can be WELL past the location of the notification and it still remains up unless you physically clear it. Surly it should automatically clear itself once the notification is no longer relevant without a drivers input.

4. Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)

   Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
   However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.

   Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
   This is not only inconvenient but also reduces overall safety.

   It’s especially surprising because:

   On Android Auto, Google Maps already supports multitouch, and it works great — smooth, natural, and safe.

   Even in the Waze mobile app (without CarPlay), when the phone is mounted on the dashboard, you can easily zoom in and out with gestures. There are no + / – buttons, yet it feels perfectly intuitive.

   So why does CarPlay Waze still miss this feature?

   Why it matters:

   Improves driver safety by minimizing distraction.

   Makes Waze consistent with Google Maps and the Waze mobile app.

   Takes advantage of Apple’s new CarPlay multitouch capabilities introduced with iOS 26.

   Suggestion:

   Please add multitouch gestures (pinch-to-zoom, pan, rotate) for Waze on CarPlay.
   It’s already supported by iOS 26 and would make a huge improvement in safety, usability, and consistency across platforms.

   How many cars actually support multitouch?

   Far more than most people realize — multitouch isn’t some brand-new feature.
   It’s been standard in many cars for years, across almost all major manufacturers:

   Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Škoda, SEAT): since around 2014–2015

   BMW: since 2015 (iDrive 5.0 and newer)

   Mercedes-Benz: since 2016–2017 (NTG 5.5 and later)

   Ford: since 2016 (Sync 3)

   Toyota / Lexus: since 2018 (Entune 3.0 / Lexus Display Audio)

   Hyundai / Kia / Genesis: since 2016–2017

5. Display EV charger availability and location when using Carplay

   Current behavior:
   When you search an EV Charger in Waze Carplay, it displays a list of EV Charger without the location on the map. Also the charger availability is not displayed. This makes it almost impossible to pick up a convenient EV Charger.

   Enhancement request: when searching for an EV charger
   - display a list of EV Charger with a number
   - display the same number on the map (so we know the location of each EV charger). is it on our way? is it ahead of us? is it behind?
   - display the availability of the charger (available on the iOS app but not in Carplay)
   => this 2 things will helps the driver choosing the most convenient charger without having to use their phone, ( only use CarPlay)

7. Adjust the font size on Apple Carplay when viewing the suggested routes

   The font is too big on the suggested routes page on Apple Carplay meaning that it's not possible to see the journey time and distance for each of the suggested routes. The text is truncated. I have to unplug my phone from the car to see the full route information.
   Please reformat the text on the suggested routes page on Carplay so the information is not truncated.

8. Cannot read reports from Wazers (green ...) when in CarPlay

   When in CarPlay I can sometimes see a report (green ...) but cannot click on it to hear it play nor - when I am the right-side passenger see it on my phone to find out what is ahead. I wish it would play as alerts do - or that my phone would mirror the CarPlay display so I can better navigate from the right seat.

9. Increase the map speedometer when using Apple Carplay after iOS26 upgrade.

   After the iOS26 update when using the Apple Carplay the speedometer was changed to a tinny version, very hard to see when driving. The overall experience with the carplay was better, the new carplay itself changed to a better resolution that fits better the 10inch display of my car, the only exception is the small speedometer used by Waze. Please, add an option that allow the user to configure the size of the speedometer when using Carplay.

10. Ajuste no alerta no carplay

    No CarPlay, sempre que aparece um alerta cobre o quadro com o tempo restante até o destino de forma que muitas vezes se responde à pergunta "ainda está lá?" confirmando ou negando mas sem saber se a resposta está certa, apenas para poder voltar a ver o quadro com a hora estimada de chegada. Os alertas poderiam ficar acima, sem cobrir o ETA, pois tem espaço e aí as confirmações seriam mais precisas

11. CarPlay (Waze Map shown into instrument cluster update) as demonstrated by latest CarPlay updates

    Apple have updated CarPlay to work with the instrument cluster in addition to the centre screen, which is far more comfortable in the latest cars to have navigation behind the wheel. Developers need to make updates to enable this feature to work for their apps.

    Please update Waze to take advantage of this new functionality, which will improve the experience of navigating while driving.

12. CarPlay display on iPad / iPad mini > safety

    You have already developed a much more readable display for use on CarPlay. It would be very helpful if this was an optional mode on iPad's / iPad mini's. I think it would address the multiple requests for larger fonts etc without a lot of new development work.

    I was very disappointed to discover that even though the screen is larger on a iPad or iPad mini than my phone the display uses smaller harder to read text. Considering the entire purpose of the app is to be used while driving I can't understand why you are not working to maximize at a glance readability.

13. toggle for map when on CarPlay

    I’ve been using Waze as my primary navigation app, but ever since Waze was made compatible with CarPlay I’ve been unable to view the map on my phone screen. “Just use the map on the radio screen” you might say. My iPhone is mounted next to my heads up display I have to look down when I have ApplePlay on to use the other music apps. The radio display is too low to view the map safely and is also susceptible to glare. My iPhone is mounted to my dash so I can glance at it without completing taking my eyes off the road. So, my question is, is there any way to fix this, make a toggle for the screen so the turn by turn is on the radio display and the map stays on the iPhone and if not is there a way to disable Waze from CarPlay?

14. CarPlay report button setting options

    Add setting option(s) to the CarPlay report button to make it easier to reach while driving. Either a setting option to reposition the report button to other corners of the screen AND/OR setting option to make the report button run across the entire width of the bottom edge of the screen

16. Be able to correct fuel prices in Apple CarPlay

    Before getting a car with Apple CarPlay ( have iPhone Xs Max IOS 16.7.2, Waze v 4.103) I was able to bring up and correct fuel prices of petrol stations I just visited / passed. Now with CarPlay, that option has gone.

17. BUG: Using phone speaker option not working in CarPlay (latest iOS)

    Waze should play sounds through the phone speakers when connected to CarPlay and when this setting is set in the Waze options. Situation right now is, that this option get fully ignored. This is bad when the phone outputs to a different audio device e.g. through bluetooth and the CarPlay sounds are muted. You have no change to get any audio from Waze in this situation. Please fix or at least also support output to different bluetooth device while connected to CarPlay.

    Better voice search in CarPlay mode and categories like Gas, Food, etc so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road and use the phone. I find myself having to close the Waze app in CarPlay and open up Apple maps just to find a place for a new route because typing in destinations in the Waze CarPlay mode doesn’t bring up closely relevant destinations, and voice search just brings up a map with no way to select anything. Just take a look at how Google Maps and Apple Maps does this feature. Especially for selecting categories like Food, Gas, and organizing by closest to you.

19. Apple Carplay alert notification format

    Regarding Apple Carplay, the notifications for cops, hazards, etc is set up that the "Thanks & Not There" are over & under each other. I feel they should be side to side instead. 1st its already risky to take eyes off the road to press on the alert but as the car is in motion and roads flow naturally in an up & down motion, It's pretty easy to confirm the wrong answer. If they were side by side, It completely reduces the clicking of the wrong answer.

20. turn not allowed for next turn on carplay

    When the turn I need to make is not available, I should be able to say "turn not available" in the edits while using carplay.
    There isn't a need to be able to edit multiple streets, just the turn Waze is asking for because I need to be able to be re-directed in a foreign area.
