Trailer Speed and Seatbelt/Phone Cameras operating in Queensland
Firstly I know there are posts regarding this including mine but I think this needs to be addressed with fresh eyes and open minds.
I understand there is a resistance to showing the Seatbelt/Phone Cameras and I can see the thinking behind it but would like to suggest that a General Warning would be better than none.

UI Problem: Speed camera\police alert covers the speed limit
I was using Waze in horizontal mode last night - the speed limit and my current speed were displayed near the bottom of the screen in the middle horizontally. I noticed that when alerts such as Police ahead or Speed Camera in x feet were displayed the notification box covers key bits of the screen such as your current speed, the speed limit and your precise location.
I think either the UI needs to shift up when the alerts are displayed, or the alert box needs to be constrained to one side of the screen.

Update camera alerts
Hi Waze team,
I’ve noticed that some of the new speed cameras in Romania appear on the map but don't trigger any alerts or warnings while driving. It would be really helpful if these cameras could be included in future updates so that drivers can receive proper notifications. Thanks a lot!1 vote -
Control a map (with connected Android Auto) from the phone
Add possibility to control a map (with connected android auto display) from the phone, it's more comfortably, phone hes better touch sensor and keyboard.

Remove permanent "where to" and "my Waze" fields when phone is horizontal.
I use Waze with my phone in a horizontal/landscape position. All is good if I set a location target and use Waze to guide me to it. But I sometimes I like to see the traffick volume without setting a destination. In this mode, Waze takes up a third of my map display with the "where to" and "my Waze" fields. I should be able to turn those off or they should auto disappear.

Unblock phone sleeping when idle or parking - to preserve battery
It happened to me several times and I find it very annoying.
When I park the car waiting for someone out if I leave phone in the car when I reach my destination and I forget to turn it off, Waze will prevent the screen from turning off and will drain out my battery quickly.
My suggestion is that I'd Waze detects that I'm parking or not driving for over a minute or so, it should automatically suspend the navigation activity and enable screen shutdown and sleep until user starts driving again.5 votes -
New permanent speed photo camera in Rio Rancho NM 87124
There is a new permanent speed camera installed on Southern Blvd on the Southside of the street between Sally circle SE and May circle SE. Brand new and taking lots of pictures of people going by. No one know about this yet, would like you to put it in then Waze driving app. Didn't know where else to post this..

Re-attempt to connect to mobile/wifi signal after starting on offline map
When a car is parked in underground carpark with no mobile phone signal, Waze will use the offline map with no traffic information However it does not re-attempt to connect to mobile signal/wifi after a minute or two when the car is out in open air, and it continues the whole journal on offline map. Please enable a function to re-try connecting to phone signal via CarPlay

Urgent hint to improve waze fast and easy and get many new users!
How? Speed camera alert (warning) is one of the best and attractive reasons to use waze especially for new users, that have already integrated or portable navigation systems. Mobile (!) Speed traps (cameras, but also radar guns etc.) are the traps, users have the most fear of. But most existing users of waze, who wants to report a mobile (!) speed trap mix up the confusing camera icon with the police (officer) icon, especially in the german version, where the camera icon is named "Blitzer" (means: "flash"). Set option to change between BT and phone speaker in settings during navigation
there is no option to change sound output between phone speaker or Bluetooth during navigation

Driver license plate scanning
While you are driving there are a lot of dangerous and crazy drivers, also drivers who has problems with their lamps and other electronics.
It would be great to notify them via your mobile phone. The system is easy, you scan their license plate with your camera and you can send a message to the car next to you, after the message the other driver has the chance to answer, then you can chose if you want to continue the conversation or not

Please allow users to remove Traffic light camera from the alerts.
I live in a town with many traffic light cameras and it is very annoying that I can't turn off that alert. Please make it so we can turn that off.

Integrate Waze with Google nest cameras
It would be great to be able to connect to Google Nest cameras/doorbell through Waze while driving. Presently, if my phone alerts to someone at the door I have to pull over to use my phone to converse with them. If that was possible through the screen on the car it would make it much simpler. I know a number of Waze users that would switch their camera doorbell provider if this were possible with the Google product.

The map should be able to display on the phone, even if CarPlay is active
Please can there be the option of keeping navigation running on the phone screen, even if CarPlay is enabled. CarPlay Display Units are often down low (where car radios used to be), and looking at that as your satnav is dangerous and distracting. Keeping the map on the phone will enable safer driving and a happier Apple and Waze customer base
