Find a way to avoid spurious hazard reporting of cars stopped on the shoulder when parked safely and posing no risk to drivers
It seems I'm many times a week on freeway journeys seeing situations where a hazard alert will come up for a car stopped when the car in question is safely parked (usually with no occupant outside or in proximity) 4-5m away from the road itself presenting zero actual hazard to road users whatsoever. It often gives a 'for the sake it' type of feel (as if reported someone's kid is in the passenger seat bored). It is pretty annoying and often jolting when it happens say more than 5 times in a 1 hr journey whilst you're driving along concerned…

Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
This is not only inconvenient but also reduces overall safety.It’s especially surprising because:

Police location
If you pass a speed cop sitting somewhere and immediately after you pass them you reach for your phone to update Waze, you could potentially get a ticket because they have a tendency to look into the cars as they pass and after they pass. My suggestion is to make it so whenever you push the police button? It actually puts the police 1/4 Mile behind where you push the button

Change Road Hazard
Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,

Depuis des années que j'utilise Waze pour la voiture (après des Tomtom), je suis ravi. Néanmoins, je navigue régulièrement en camping-car et je suis obligé d'utiliser un GPS concurrent car impossible de rentrer le gabarit et Waze fait passer par routes trop étroites ou hasardeuses pour Camping car (même étant <3.5 T)... Donc est il possible de rajouter un type de véhicule Camping car, avec possibilité de rentrer les caractéristques? Merci

Traffic reports should end at logical intersection
Traffic reports should end at the next logical intersection: I am active with reporting traffic, because I hope the people leaving after me benefit from the reports. The cars stopped on the road don't care about the map editor and, most times, the traffic is at least running through to the next intersection.
That being said, MANY of my traffic reports stop randomly due to the segments drawn in the map editor. This is illogical.
(I get 'yelled at' for multiple reports when I try to update the true distance of the dead-stop traffic and this would be an easy…

Itilisant Waze sur deux voitures rapides et une violette ancêtre qui fait du 90km/h l apprentissage automatique par Waze de la vitesse ne fonctionne pas, il faudrait pouvoir indiquer la vitesse max de son véhicule pour avoir les horaires d arrivées correctes, et pouvoir obtenir de meilleurs itinéraires, très utiles pour camping cars caravanes etc

Report traffic lights with poor timing
I think there could be many benefits to reporting traffic lights with unapporpriate timing mechanisms, i.e. a light on a through street which turns red with great frequency when no cars or pedestrians are using the cross street. This holds up traffic unnecessarily and can cause further congestion. This information could be sold or provided to cities to help them use aggregate information to determine which lights potentially need to have their timing adjusted (Waze could aggregate the top 10 worst timed traffic lights in the city). Car-pooling feature
If waze is saying that it is real time it should be realtime, and not delayed by several minutes.
Car pooling feature should be added! To this there are several problems/issues.
i should be able ta preplan a route. Then hit go when i need it. I dont have the time to put in the different adresses every morning.
i should be able to navigation to a moving target. If im to pickup someone he May not be at his house. He may have walked to a place where it is easier for me to pick him up.

I'd like to move the car icon out of the middle of the map in order to see more of the upcoming route and less of what's already passed
I'd like to move the car icon out of the middle of the map in order to see more of the upcoming route and less of what's already passed. Specially when using Navigation since it the ETA status window takes up a reasonable portion of the screen. For instance: if I'm driving southeast my car icon should be displayed in the upper left hand corner (when using True North mode) but the same applies when in the relative mode. Thanks

Points of interest car play
Please add to apple car play the function to easily search for points of interest such as parking or fuel. You can do this on the app but there isn’t a way to do this on car play. You have to use voice search or type in manually “parking”

Car Park Rates
Kindly add in carpark parking rates if possible. Currently the function to view possible nearby parking areas/lots is very useful but it'll be a plus if charging rates are included.

Share trips from phone to car running aaos
Hello everyone, I do uber full time and recently switched to waze. I was very happy to see that waze is available on my polestar 2's aaos but as an uber driver there's 1 option that would be a killer feature for us.
When I accept a trip on uber it automatically opens the waze app on my phone, but I am greeted with a message saying "waze is open on your car, user here or exit". Even when I choose use here and then switch back to my car, it doesn't pick up where I left off. Hence why…

Apple Car Play Issue
I love the Apple CarPlay feature. The only issue I have is the black search/favorites/voice bar doesn’t disappear as it does in Google maps. It takes up valuable map space. Could you please, in a future update, create a disappearing black bar after map is up? Thank you.
