1. Dynamically configure waze session based on Bluetooth connection (for motorbike/car/truck)

   Certain apps have the ability to detect what Bluetooth device is connected.

   My suggestion is to allow users to pre-configure different Bluetooth connections to different vehicular modes, for example, a Bluetooth headset may be used on a motorbike and therefore Waze could detect that this Bluetooth connection is present and set itself for motorbike mode, likewise, an in-car radios own Bluetooth connection could be configured for a car, and finally, a different Bluetooth connection could also be configured for a truck, I envisaged then that this would allow users to predefine certain options like toll passes, low emission zones and parking restrictions etc. All based on the current Bluetooth connection method.

   For example, motorbikes are allowed toll-free within low emission zones and also are free within toll roads, this could be allowed to dynamically configure routing for the motorbike where it will be optimal to use tolls as they are free, whereas for cars, there may be a toll pass required, or for trucks certain roads are impassable, again, this all could be dynamically pre-configured by the user depending on what device it is connected to on Bluetooth.

   Currently, the user interface for changing between cars and motorbikes and adjusting any toll or highway settings is very cumbersome and requires a lot of user input to change between the two. Also, this may lead to unexpected charges if a motorbike user forgets to change Waze from motorbike mode (where tolls are free) and inadvertently uses Waze while still configured for motorbike mode while driving a car.

   The clunky user interface does not invite users to easily change between the two.

   Furthermore, the ability to easily change between different vehicular modes allows users to pre-configure. For example, a motorbike may not wish to go on a motorway where as the same owner may wish to drive their car on a motorway. Having the ability to pre-configure motorbike to car to truck depending on Bluetooth connection method I feel is a useful system update

2. Find a way to avoid spurious hazard reporting of cars stopped on the shoulder when parked safely and posing no risk to drivers

   It seems I'm many times a week on freeway journeys seeing situations where a hazard alert will come up for a car stopped when the car in question is safely parked (usually with no occupant outside or in proximity) 4-5m away from the road itself presenting zero actual hazard to road users whatsoever. It often gives a 'for the sake it' type of feel (as if reported someone's kid is in the passenger seat bored). It is pretty annoying and often jolting when it happens say more than 5 times in a 1 hr journey whilst you're driving along concerned about actual police and traffic incidents. I've got no great ideas on how it can be better handled but perhaps the Waze team can take a look. Thanks

3. Allow people to upload their own Waze profile picture (like their car) to get easily identified while driving...

   Hi people. Please forgive me for my average English, I'm a French Waze user...

   At the moment, the only way to display a picture when clicking on a Wazer is to link your Facebook account with your Waze client.

   I guess that a lot of people (like me) don't want to link their Facebook profile with the Waze client or they don't own one.

   My idea => Create a function on the Waze client to allow people to upload their own pictures.

   The goal => When a Wazer is in the vicinity of your location, you can click on it and also see if his / her car has already passed you...

   Funny and interesting function, isn't it?!

4. Please provide an option to turn off the "car stopped on shoulder" warning.

   This is the most common warning yet doing nothing more than distracting. People stop on shoulders for few minutes all the time so why do I need to care unless I am planning to drive on the shoulder?? Turning off road hazards does not help.

6. Use predictive modeling to better route traffic during a major traffic event

   Western Washington state experienced a major traffic event when a train derailed and shut down Interstate 5 for the whole day. 60K vehicles use that stretch of I-5 every day. I used Waze to navigate home, but a 40 minute drive turned into 5.5 hours because of the accident and using side roads.

   Waze tried its best to find the best route, but the predicted two-hour drive kept getting worse and worse. Of course, there's not much historic information to know how to the side and back roads would reach to that much traffic flooding onto them, but Waze failed spectacularly.

   The suggestion I have is to look at an event like the Puget Sound I-5 incident on 12/18 and learn how to better route that much traffic. There is a way to assign cars different routes to best distribute the load instead of directing people to a route that is good now, but because a thousand cars are now on a small farm road, you've created a worse mess.

   Waze kept digging itself into a deeper and deeper hole. The other issue is that there was an actual emergency alert that came across about "severe traffic delays". I hope Waze is tied into the emergency alert system so that it can incorporate those alerts into the app.

   This wasn't an emergency like an earthquake, fire or lahar, but Waze can serve an important function in situations like this if it did a better job of looking ahead into an unknown situation and making additional recommendations besides "the best route".

   Predictive modeling of how many cars Waze is routing onto small roads could better anticipate how small roads fill and how they "drain" when there is a major, unforeseen traffic event.

   It happened several times to me that waze pushed me into a street too small for my vehicle, worst going backwards was nearly impossible because of the other cars in my back. I am not even talking about the funnel I was pushed in with a challenge to get out.

   Also, not later than 2 days ago, i was advised à route with a bridge high limited to 2.00m ... so no way for me to go there. I was forced a détour of several km.

8. Add the garage with vehicles and settings

   I would suggest you introduce the concept of garage. The possibility of adding your own cars to the garage, being able to describe the types of cars, and relate the navigation configurations to the vehicles. In this way, by choosing the vehicle used at that moment with a single button, all the navigation configurations will be automatically set.
   For example, I use an electric scooter and with the scooter, I don't want to drive on the motorways, I want to avoid toll roads and I have the permits for restricted areas of the city.
   However, when I use my old car, I want to use the motorways, I don't want to avoid toll roads and I don't have permission to use restricted areas in the city center.
   I wish I could change all these driving settings just by choosing the vehicle I'm driving, not having to reconfigure everything every time.

11. One Touch Reports in Car Play / Android Auto - Customizable

    It would be great to have the ability to customize one-touch reports.
    See the attached imgur photo.
    In this case, I made vehicle on shoulder, police, and object on the road as my "One Touch."
    I also added a compass to the navigation bar on the bottom left. (The compass I used is far too busy for Waze.)

13. Update EV platform

    Update the whole portion of the Waze app to reflect current real time updates or create a new EV Waze...this is for ICE cars mostly. The EV portion is old and out of date. Not even real time. Add come AI in there...

    Kindly add in carpark parking rates if possible. Currently the function to view possible nearby parking areas/lots is very useful but it'll be a plus if charging rates are included.

15. Change Road Hazard

    Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,

16. Please extend the over speed alarm tone as it is too short when using bluetooth phone connect setting

    When using "Bluetooth Phone" connection on Audi the connection time is so long that the short overspeed alarm tone is not played over the car speakers, all that happens is the cars entertainment system is turned down and dead air is played.

    Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

17. Ambulance/Fire/Armed Police Blocking Road

    I don’t understand why roadworks get precedence over emergencies. So many emergencies such as ambulances, firetrucks and even police cars regularly close or block roads temporarily causing extreme traffic jams so there should be an option to warn Wazers so they can opt to take a different route. I live in a city centre (Birmingham) where I am faced routinely with a blocked road due to an emergency such as an overturned car, a person trapped in a car, cars on fire, house fires, standoff situations with police because somebody is held up in a property with a gun or knife; or a general medical emergency where Police have closed the road - so an ambulance, specialist police armed team or firetruck can deal with the situation. Wazers should know so they can decide to take a different route.

18. Share trips from phone to car running aaos

    Hello everyone, I do uber full time and recently switched to waze. I was very happy to see that waze is available on my polestar 2's aaos but as an uber driver there's 1 option that would be a killer feature for us.

    When I accept a trip on uber it automatically opens the waze app on my phone, but I am greeted with a message saying "waze is open on your car, user here or exit". Even when I choose use here and then switch back to my car, it doesn't pick up where I left off. Hence why I would like to make a suggestion, add a 3rd option to that screen I mentioned earlier that says "send to car".

    Something that would be even better is to have a "car mode" option on the main waze app which automatically shares trips that comes from uber to the car (similar to Google maps on Android auto, since maps is disabled on your phone when using android auto it automatically shares the trip to maps on Android auto). So the "car mode" option would be like "uber sends trip to waze on main phone -> waze automatically shares trip to waze on car (aaos)".

    I'd like to move the car icon out of the middle of the map in order to see more of the upcoming route and less of what's already passed. Specially when using Navigation since it the ETA status window takes up a reasonable portion of the screen. For instance: if I'm driving southeast my car icon should be displayed in the upper left hand corner (when using True North mode) but the same applies when in the relative mode. Thanks

20. Larger Closure Range

    When you want to add a closure, it only shows the roads infront of your trip. More often then not, you get to the intersection and find out theres a closure that Waze didnt know about, you have cars behind you so you turn a different direction. So when you press on 'Closure', it doesnt let you chose the closure you just passed because it is now behind you.
