Search Results on the Map - Show current location
When searching for something (i.e. Best Buy) it takes you back to the map and shows all locations. However, it doesn't show current location. When you are in unfamiliar area it is hard to estimate which location of point of interest is closest.

Dear my WAZE PPL
First, I want to thank waze for creating such an outstanding navigation tool that helps so many drivers stay informed and safe on the road. I truly appreciate how the app continuously evolves to meet the needs of its users.
I’d like to suggest a potential improvement to the “Hazards” feature. While the current options, such as “Objects on Road,” are helpful, I believe there’s an opportunity to make the app even more informative and user-friendly by adding an alert specifically for roadkill or deceased animals on the road.

Match multiple riders to unlock HOV for everyone
In the San Francisco Bay Area, and many other municipalities, HOV lanes require 3 or more people to use. If Waze Rider had a feature that let you request an HOV carpool only, and would enable multiple matches so that you could get 3 people in the car (driver + 2 riders), everyone would save 45 minutes of traffic. That would be a huge incentive to get people to use the app, meaning easier and more matches and fewer cars on the road.

gas stations / resting places
Hi Wazers,
just came back from holidays by car, driving around 2500km. The navigation works perfect with Waze, BUT it was reaaaally difficult to find the right gas stations and/or resting places along the route.
For example, we were driving from Karlsruhe (Germany) to Budapest (Hugnary) with two children and it would have been extremely helpful to know and see Esso gas stations along the road for the following 1000km (having an Esso-Card) and all the resting places and what they serve (Mc Donald's etc.). ETA on the front of the App
When you have your 1 stop route ready to go. The front page shows the ETA at the bottom, which is great. My suggestion has to do when you create a stop before the final destination. The display shows only the ETA of the 1st stop not the entire trip. It would be convenient for the area to show the first stop ETA and the final ETA. Either both at the same time or rotate both. Otherwise I have to go into another page to see my final ETA. Then when the first stop has completed then just show me…

Police Heat Map
What about a feature that shows popular police trap locations. There are locations in my town that are popular with police to setup speed traps. If those areas could glow blue like traffic areas glow red, I think that could be a great feature. If you could use the information that wazers report, then that info could be processed through an algorithm that show the high probability areas.

Aggregated traffic/report data to see Trends!
Online or in the app, provide a feature to show aggregated data. This will allow us to see all reports for say, the past month, in our area. We can spot areas that have traffic on a recurring basis, places with repeat police reports.

Screen offset
Have the screen offset be two thirds to the area you are going to and one third to where you have been while you are moving. I am more interested in seeing more of the map where I am going than where I have been.

Carpool
Here's an idea. How about now making Waze suddenly stop working to ask me about carpooling WHILE I'M FUCKING DRIVING IN AN UNKNOWN AREA!!!!!!! This stupid goddamn "survey" allowed me about 10 minutes of blind driving in an an unknown area. Do it again ... and you are deleted.

Rodízio de veículos São Paulo
Na cidade de São Paulo existe rodízio de veículos pelo numero final da placa. Gostaria de sugerir uma alteração que quando o usuário digitasse algum endereço pertencente à área de restrição ou que tivesse que cruzar tal área, que fosse alertado sobre o final da placa que está impedido de circular e o horário. Seria interessante também se permitisse programar a saída para entrar e sair da área restrita no horário em que não sofresse multa, talvez com algum alerta.

Would be handy to add hazards and notes on an area you've seen that day not current location
For instance driving from A47 to Brundall in Norfolk, along Postwick Lane there is a tree 1ft into the road. I knocked my wingmirror off there and so have others as people have passed oncoming vehicles. I saw many glass wingmirrors.
I've accidentally put this onto Theobald road Norwich.. could this be moved please to opposite Brundall Marina. I'd like to be able to warn others of this without having to be sat there in my car. Can you add hazards to alternative locations please that would be useful.

toll booth alert off switch
Ability to turn off Toll Booth alert
99.9% of the time, I am driving the same roads as I'm sure most users are. That means I know where the toll booths are. In my area, they aren't booths, just cameras. The lanes don't get narrow or slow down. There are good signs that toll cameras are ahead. The alert from Waze is just a nuisance and there is no option to turn it off like all of the other alert types.

Show city name over center of town, not over general area.
I often find that a town name is not actually displaying in the direction of the town, but in the direction of town tiles closest to me, which may not be where the town is at all.
My suggestion would place town labels in the direction of the center of town.1 vote -
Alternative Route
1) Would like to input "Avoid this city/area". For instance Chester,PA supposedly has a "body challenge = body count" confirmed by the Chester Police Dept. where random people in cars are being killed. Would be nice to be able to avoid this city/area if I-95 is closed/blocked. 2) ALSO, would be great to log in an alternative route and SAVE IT with a name you choose. Thx so much! I LOVE Waze. Remove parking lots from view while driving
Parking lots should be revamped as place points as opposed to area places to reduce visual clutter on the map while driving. Or perhaps a "show parking lots in app view" toggle to give drivers the option to see them. It could be enabled by default.
Larger parking lots in front of big-box retail stores like Target or Walmart should be obvious and not displayed. You can't miss them, they are often the only place to park.

Have Waze automatically detect your speed on major roads
I drive the same busy highway every morning (I-64) here in the Hampton Roads of Virginia. A major section of it is under construction. Instead of passengers and/or drivers taking their eyes off the road to manually enter moderate/heavy/standstill traffic, it would be nice for Waze to automatically detect it and publish it to the map since there are enough people using Waze in this area. I'm sure an algorithm can be written that can detect Wazers within a 1-5 mile radius that are traveling at a particular speed and be able to automatically display the 'traffic speed' for…

Add stops
Before, it was possible to add multiple stops on Waze, and this is important for me since I work with deliveries. However, after the latest updates, it's only possible to add a single stop. On top of that, instructions like "turn right," "turn left," and "roundabout" are no longer being spoken, which makes using Waze impractical and forces me to rely on Google Maps. Please bring back the feature to add multiple stops because, even on the slowest day, I have seven consecutive deliveries to complete. Closed locations
Multiple times, I have been taken miles off of my route to go to a certain store or rest stop or gas station, only to arrive and discover that it’s either permanently closed or hasn’t been opened for business yet (I’m not talking business hours. I’m talking “still under construction.”) this is infuriating. Please allow us to mark locations as permanently closed or have the app notify us that it’s not open yet.
