Option to say "not here" for traffic and construction.
Wake feed alerts seem to be old and inaccurate with no way to clear or report completed. Allow drives to vote construction and traffic reports off the map

Better update lenght traffic jams
My experience in the Netherlands is that it takes a lot of time before a traffic jam that by example is resolved is removed from the map. Why not an option, like danger on the route, to let it manage bij users. You can let know that there is a jam but you can not let know that it is resolved.

How do i disable microwave "ding" when stuck in traffic jam?

ETA Color
I think it would be very useful if Waze could display the ETA in different colors depending on the traffic conditions, similar to what Google Maps does. For example, green for light traffic, amber for moderate traffic, and red for heavy traffic. This would make it easier to quickly understand the driving situation at a glance.

Advertise the Waze app on billboards in high traffic areas
I think if Waze advertised the App in particularly high traffic areas, Waze could ultimately get tons of new users and the ability to ease traffic. For example, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia and travel I-64 daily to get to work in Hampton. It's about 33 miles one way. Currently, I-64 is under construction to widen it. During the summer time frame, there are approximately, 20,000 more drivers on this busy section a day that are headed to Virginia Beach and/or the Outer Banks of North Carolina for vacation. Add vertical slide feature (navigate / traffic report like)
There are already 2 slide options.
1- If you click the Menu button and slide from left-right you activate the 'Navigate' command
2- If you click the Report button and slide from right-left you activate the 'Traffic report' commandWhat if you implement more 2 slide options, but now vertical (up-down) ?

I would like Waze to show me the recommended speed to avoid multiple stops while in slow moving traffic jam
Especially when driving regular gear cars, you prefer to drive slowly but steady, rather than stopping and accelerating consistently. This is also favorable in fuel consumption manners. In the long run, if a lot of users will obey this feature it could consequently help to promote the traffic congestion by preventing multiple stops, and improve the traffic flow.

Disable pop ups or get a traffic ticket
Washington State recently updated its cell phone law. The new bill forbids handheld uses, including composing or reading any kind of message, picture or data. WAZE continually has Wi-Fi pop-ups for which I must touch the screen to hide the pop up (mind you I’m also on my Vespa and wearing gloves, trying to use a touch screen that barely registers a glove). I’m pushing hard on my screen between 10-12 times while driving to turn off the Wi-Fi notifications on my 24 mile one way trip to/from work. I can now get ticketed for this!! I do not want…

No left without light option
I find too option Waze has me make Left turns where there is no Lights at these very difficult intersections. I think an option to avoid left left turns without lights altogether would be much easier and much safer. It would definitly benefit me.

Waze Light
Dear Waze community,
Typically, I rely on Waze to guide me home, however, while leaving a friend's apartment while visiting a foreign country, I found that my fastest route home led me down dark streets and uncrowded areas. Being a young female, I realized that while this was the most efficient way home, it was certainly the least safe. Make the nav text (under the distance) white instead of light blue to improve contrast
The current navigation text is light blue on black (which becomes dark gray under most lighting conditions) lacks contrast and becomes unreadable in many situations. Also would be good to allow for user-selectable text size to take advantage of larger displays (6 and 6 plus).

Crossing major intersections
Los Angeles - When crossing major streets such as Sunset Blvd, Wilshire Blvd or La Cienega Blvd, please guide us to an intersection protected by a traffic signal. While the smaller streets are great for avoiding traffic, once we reach a major thoroughfare, we simply can't get across without a green light! Thanks, Waze!

Two ideas:
1. On car play can you put colors about traffic on regular Basic

Highlight Slow Traffic by Changing Road Colors
Currently, when there is traffic congestion ahead, Waze does not clearly change the road color on the map. Sometimes it only shows thin orange borders, which is not enough for the driver to quickly recognize the slowdown.
It would be much more effective if, whenever there is congestion or slow traffic, the road itself changed color (instead of remaining purple). This would make it easier for drivers to anticipate and react to traffic conditions without relying only on borders or icons.

Need an option to reverse the direction of travel shown at the beginning of the journey, until the GPS catches up with me. I have a journey I do frequently, where I have to make a decision right at the start which way to travel, but waze always seems to think I'm travelling along the road in the opposite direction to where I'm really travelling. And it doesn't help that I have a traffic light right at the start so I'm stationery.

New source on Waze
I make a suggest for Waze: should you guys insert a source by GPS and infrared connections to traffic lights, that it works lowering the time of red light on those traffic signals, by flood of people registered on Waze database.

Update distance for reporting traffic.
Any time I report heavy traffic, it only highlights about a half a mile. If traffic on a highway is heavy, it doesn’t clear up that fast, unless it’s from an accident that has just been cleared out.
There should also be a way to report back to you guys when we get rerouted to a route that turns out to be more backed up than the original route. This happens to me all the time! I get taken off the highway onto back roads that are jammed and ends up way longer than if I just…
