  1. Ambulance

Good morning. Thank you for your application. I have a suggestion. I am a paramedic and like many paramedics we use your application to respect speed limits and pay attention to control zones. Would it be possible to add an ambulance vehicle and if possible a quickest route for the ambulances taking into account the size of the ambulances. Thank you in advance for considering my proposal.

  2. Colour code the best lane options for upcoming turns

It would be fantastic if the lanes could be colour coded for upcoming turns to get you into the best lane possible. Example is if you are a long way from the turn, have all the lanes in Green. Then as you get closer to the intersection, colour the lanes next to your optimal turning lane in Orange and all other lanes in Red. This would then encourage you to get into the correct lane in preparation for your turn well in advance. This would help when you are in heavily congested traffic, multilane highways or in higher speed zone

  3. Hello Waze Team, Thank you for this great app that makes driving easier and safer. I have a small suggestion: sometimes the shortest route

    Hello Waze Team,

Thank you for this great app that makes driving easier and safer. I have a small suggestion: sometimes the shortest route is not the best option, especially when it goes through narrow streets or roads with bumps that make driving slow.

It would be very helpful if Waze could show the average speed of each road, so drivers can choose smoother and faster routes even if they are a bit longer.

I believe this feature would make navigation more accurate and practical for everyone.

    Best regards,

  5. Variable speed

Show the slower speed for variable speed zones.
In Melbourne Australia there are many variable speed zones where the slower speed is set for a longer period. Eg. 40km between 7am and midnight. That should be the speed set for that area as that is the speed for the majority of the day, not the higher speed.

  7. Zoom et rotation automatiques. Répétitivité des instructions. Itininéraires

    Bonjour,

  8. What makes a mobile app development company in Houston a better choice than outsourcing overseas?

Choosing a mobile app development company in Houston over an overseas vendor comes down to better communication, cultural alignment, and long-term accountability. Local development firms operate in the same time zone, which eliminates delays in feedback loops and supports faster iterations — critical for building and refining complex mobile applications.

A Houston-based company also brings a deeper understanding of local market behavior, user preferences, and compliance requirements. Whether you're building an app for retail, healthcare, or logistics, a team rooted in Houston can tailor solutions to meet both industry and regional needs more accurately than a remote team working…

  9. Premium user / tipping users for correctly placed speed traps

It would be nice to give some incentive to users to actually use correctly this app.

What do i mean by that?

    1. The first and most dangerous obviously it is a speed trap. I would give immediately my half of speeding ticket to users that saved me from that.
    2. More users would be drawn to the Waze and we could have more information, because there is a reward for being useful
    3. We could have hotspots, that means, zones where is frequently reported some police activity, even if it isn't reported today, beware it might be something.

    I would happily…

  10. Alert Signal ahead

    Dear Waze Team,

I strongly recommend adding voice alerts for upcoming traffic.

Traffic signals are placed even on straight roads with no intersections

The sunlight glare during peak hours makes signal visibility very difficult.

Pedestrian crossings and school zones have signals with no visual cues from afar

This feature would significantly improve safety, reduce violations, and help drivers who are new to the city or unfamiliar with signal placement.

    Even a simple alert like:

    “⚠️ Traffic signal ahead”
... would make a huge difference, especially during bright, blinding weather conditions.

Google Maps already displays traffic lights. Since Waze is…

  12. Country-Specific Speed Limit Sign with Symbol for Variable Limits

Country-Specific Speed Limit Sign with Symbol for Variable Limits

    Problem
Waze’s static database cannot display real-time variable speed limits (VSLs) on roads like Israel’s Highway 20 (Ayalon), Switzerland’s A1, Germany’s A3, Austria’s A1, the UK’s M25, the USA’s I-95, Canada’s Highway 401, Australia’s M1, and India’s Delhi expressways. Fixed speed limits (e.g., 120 km/h or 60 km/h) can mislead drivers, risking speeding tickets or accidents, especially on long stretches without repeater signs. Showing no limit confuses users and suggests unedited segments. This issue frustrates Waze communities in the UK, USA, India, Canada, and beyond, demanding a smarter solution.

  13. Dynamically configure waze session based on Bluetooth connection (for motorbike/car/truck)

Certain apps have the ability to detect what Bluetooth device is connected.

My suggestion is to allow users to pre-configure different Bluetooth connections to different vehicular modes, for example, a Bluetooth headset may be used on a motorbike and therefore Waze could detect that this Bluetooth connection is present and set itself for motorbike mode, likewise, an in-car radios own Bluetooth connection could be configured for a car, and finally, a different Bluetooth connection could also be configured for a truck, I envisaged then that this would allow users to predefine certain options like toll passes, low emission zones…

  15. I’m reaching out to introduce Alive Alert, a patent-pending system designed to bring verified, real-time hazard alerts directly into driver

I’m reaching out to introduce Alive Alert, a patent-pending system designed to bring verified, real-time hazard alerts directly into driver navigation platforms — without relying on crowdsourced reports.

Alive Alert ensures that drivers are automatically notified when approaching active road construction, utility work, or other roadway hazards. Unlike existing systems that depend on user reports, alerts through Alive Alert originate only from licensed contractors or agencies with valid permits.

When a construction permit is issued, the designated alert zone and activation window are set by the permit office. Once the job is awarded, the contractor is granted secure access to…

  16. More applicable hazard icons to use.

Simple construction icons, closed road should be easier, should be able to mark hazard zones on map after you have driven past.
Try find some icons…..they don’t make sense where they are, we should be able to crate/move icons to use.

  17. Body mass index and cardiorespiratory fitness in MSers: Yes, it matters

    Sebastião E, Motl RW.

    Abstract

    OBJECTIVE:

This study examined body fatness and its association with cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in persons with multiple sclerosis (pwMS) accounting for disability status.

    MATERIALS AND METHODS:

This study involved a secondary data analysis from a previous study of 62 pwMS. Body fatness was indirect measured as body mass index (BMI), and CRF was measured as peak oxygen consumption from an incremental exercise test with spirometry. Participants were allocated into 3 different groups based on established BMI categories (ie, normal, overweight, and obese), and data were analyzed using SPSS.

    RESULTS:

The average BMI was 27.0 (6.7)…

Cordialement
