1. Alert drivers that a street they are about to take is extremely steep and their car might not make it up.

   Alert drivers that a street they are suggesting is extremely steep and that a car might not make it up that steep street. I have recently daily watched cars on a local street in Echo Park using Waze to get around traffic only to be directed up one of the steepest streets in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, unless they have a new car with great tires and transmission many are getting stuck on street on the way up. It is actually funny when I have talked to the people they all say that Waze directed them up this street. I bet the tow companies are loving all the extra work. However, it is just plain dangerous and Waze should be concerned and more responsible and just simply post a warning so that people are not ruining their cars. Or maybe, if not, they could pay for people's $3,000 new transmissions. Just saying the first choice of just posting what a street may look like, might just be the responsible thing for a company to do.

2. Suggestion: Can we get an auto-reroute or a stalled traffic ahead alert?

   Couple of years ago I was headed home from a 6 hr trip with a 98 yr old man riding shotgun. I was less than 20 miles from home and ran up on a traffic jam on the interstate that added another 3 hrs to my trip.......an auto-reroute would have helped a lot

4. speedlimit notification based on MPH over limit

   Currently notification is based on percentage over the posted limit. In the USA ticketing is typically based on MPH over the limit. example 2-10MPH over is 2 points, 10-15MPH over is 3 points, etc...

   Ability to set the notification threashold based on how many MPH you are over the posted limit would be a great option.

5. Stop stealing voice command/recognition

   I have no problem using the Galaxy S6 voice command to send texts while driving.

   However, once I invoke the voice command in Waze (by 3-finger salute) I can no longer use the regular Android voice command.

   It seems Waze steals and won't release the voice function until I shutdown Waze.

6. Put the speedometer back to black numberson a white background.

   Why can't you people leave a good thing alone. I don't need you to tell me what the speed limit is. Making the display black on red is too hard to read, day or night. I know how fast I'm going. I hate Waze now.

7. More re-routing flexibility

   I would love to specify how open i am to re-routing before a journey - i.e. being able to choose ‘reroute automatically - get me there ASAP’ or ‘don’t reroute without confirmation - prefer my route where possible.’

   Why: I drive a specific one of two ways out of my city when taking a long journey because while the other road is technically faster if you drive at the speed limit it is also dangerous and has poor surface conditions. This means in reality it is slower and stressful. If I do not manage to cancel the re-routing in time, I then have to either try to select an alternative route on my CarPlay (not advisable driving at 60mph on winding country roads), or stop the car to reinstate what I told it before I set off.

8. Don't Change a Language When a User Arrives in Another Country!!!

   Hi,
   it's been a long time since I wanted to report a terrible bug, which, I'm sure, you'd consider a feature. When I landed recently in a foreign country and used my Waze there, your app switched to the local language. What can be more stupid than that?? What's the underlying idea? That whenever I go somewhere as a tourist, I immediately master the local language? Moreover, it's a real booby-trap: when I drive in a foreign land, which sometimes may be a challenge by itself, I expect to hear clear instructions on where to turn and what hazards to avoid. But lo and behold! I hear that in Spanish, which I don't understand, and have to rummage in the settings to switch to English WHILE DRIVING (there was no place to pull over in the center of Barcelona)! Please fix it ASAP!
   On the other hand (really hilarious!) you take extra care reminding me not to set a new route even when I accidentally wave my hand (obviously, the phone senses a motion, but thank God there is an option to declare I'm a passenger). I suggest you fix that too. What driver wouldn't lie to the app that he's a passenger when he/she needs a new route? I understand, you're trying to cover all bases, but hey, wouldn't that be much wiser to just once (or - so be it! - at every update) warn the user that he's ALWAYS responsible for any accident of ticket that occurred or given as a result of the forbidden use of the phone while driving? Wouldn't that suffice, legally? Wouldn't that be better than just irritate the drivers every now and then?

9. Chime when time to turn

   I would like to have Waze set to only sound out warnings but also a chime (or distinct noice) when my turn is coming up.
   I seem to miss my exits on country roads, but I don't want the chatter telling me what to do. Just a chime would be enough to make me look at Waze and not miss the exit.

    The user gets to choose from as many routes as possible, ordered by time, trip range and optional personal preference (let's say a stop they plan on making or a specific route they prefer to take).

12. Less popups when starting a navigation

    When starting a navigation, a pop up ask if I want to share my ride. That's not that annoying but I would like an option to disable it.

    Im often starting a navigation from other apps, when the navigation is received by waze, it shows a first screen where I need to press on "received location". I click on it and then a second pop up telling me to share. And this is when waze dont pop to ask if I am a passenger. It sometime necessitie 3 press to start a drive. Google maps does it in 0 press when receiving a location by another app. Why asking me to press on received location, if you received it.. you know im going there.

    Maybe it's not annoying for the regular driver but as im using the function sometimes 20 times in an evening, it is. Add some settings please.

13. Narrow street flags

    Here in Pittsburgh, we're a city of hills, bluffs, and narrow, winding roads, and listening to Waze help navigate me has led to $400 in repairs and 3 near accidents in the past 2 months by taking me through poorly maintained streets and roads so narrow that, while not legally-required to be one way, nevertheless make for perilous travel with few opportunities to turn around and try another route.

    If users or editors could flag narrow streets and if an option was labeled to avoid these streets, similar to the options to avoid toll roads, it would be a major boon. I imagine the commercial sector would appreciate this as well so that you don't send a delivery truck down a road in which it may not be able to navigate safely.

    I've been using Waze for years and I really like it, but the past couple months have really been pushing this to the forefront.

14. Turn off construction alert - bug and improvement

    There are other suggestions for this but some are old so I am also adding a new one. The audible alerts for costruction and not at all helpful and very annoying. I have selected to not show alerts for construction yet they show on the map. One zone near me has up to 5 different alerts from people throughout the construction zone, including a spot where the "End Road Work" sign is visible. I get it, people (hopefully passengers) are bored and play with the app. But the audible warnings interrupt my music or podcast and get very frustrating.

    The people from the help desk tell me that the audible alert is separate from the map display. That doesn't make sense to me and is contrary to what I've seen in other alerts/display items. If so, you can consider this both a request to fix the map display and to add a remove feature for the audible alert

15. CarPlay Suggestions

    1. Can the map be made bigger?
    2. When an alert appears, make it so it is quite apparent. Currently I need to keep looking at the center console to see what is ahead.
    3. On the iPhone, auto refresh the "alerts ahead" list of items. Have the miles tick down continually. Perhaps this is a good area to fix #2.
    4. There are times when I want to use my built in nav system when CarPlay enabled. Is there a way to toggle CarPlay on/off?

    I have been accepted to the beta program over than 10 days ago. I have not received test flight invite yet. thanks!

16. Add 'NO CELL SERVICE AHEAD'. Phase 2: Notify me @start. Phase 3:Give turn-by-turn directions, w mileage 4 the dead area.

    Add 'NO CELL SERVICE AHEAD' to the list of events. If ppl keep confirming, leave it there indefinately. Methinks adding a new button just like a cop or accident shouldn't be all that difficult.
    Twice lately, I've been very, very lost because I hit a dead area with no cell service.
    Phase 2: Notify me @start of my trip. Phase 3:Give turn-by-turn directions, w mileage for the dead area.

17. Next action on directions

    Right now, depending on the what the next action is, the upper left corner overlay can be four or five lines, obscuring the map underneath. My suggestion is that overlay is collapsed to the the first line (i.e, 'right turn, 5.6 mi) until you get close, say two miles, when the rest of the information would be displayed.

    Precios combustible en Argentina con demasiados decimales.
    La última versión de Waze pide colocar 3 decimales en los precios de la nafta, pero actualmente solo se utilizan 2. El problema es que con la rueda de desplazamiento es muy lento la actualización de los mismos.
    Sugiero:
    1) Dejar solo 2 decimales
    2) Permitir el uso del teclado numérico
    3) Colocar una rueda para cada dígito.

19. Share trips from phone to car running aaos

    Hello everyone, I do uber full time and recently switched to waze. I was very happy to see that waze is available on my polestar 2's aaos but as an uber driver there's 1 option that would be a killer feature for us.

    When I accept a trip on uber it automatically opens the waze app on my phone, but I am greeted with a message saying "waze is open on your car, user here or exit". Even when I choose use here and then switch back to my car, it doesn't pick up where I left off. Hence why I would like to make a suggestion, add a 3rd option to that screen I mentioned earlier that says "send to car".

    Something that would be even better is to have a "car mode" option on the main waze app which automatically shares trips that comes from uber to the car (similar to Google maps on Android auto, since maps is disabled on your phone when using android auto it automatically shares the trip to maps on Android auto). So the "car mode" option would be like "uber sends trip to waze on main phone -> waze automatically shares trip to waze on car (aaos)".

20. COVID testing center wait time, traffic

    I was trying to get covid test for my daughter this weekend and couldn't find out what places didn't have a wait line.  Like traffic, I thought this would be a good opportunity for Waze to have people add a Covid testing alert or comment at a site to let others know the wait times.  Or for Waze to recognize how many people are heading there?  This would be a huge relief to people during this stressful time.
