Caravan Mode / Follow Me Mode
I've been thinking in a new mode for Wazers... I've been driving with family along the road in different vehicles, not once we've been able to keep the same speed or pace and we end loosing sight of where the vehicles are. In Mexico safety its a very important matter, and everytime we are not able to see where the other cars that are driving with us we call them or text them to see if everything is fine. New feature
The main objective is to allow Waze users to report vehicles around them by adding comments. Like many users, Waze has become a habit when we drive on the roads to get information about our route.
The proposed feature could help all these users.
For example, imagine you are on the highway and you notice that a vehicle ahead of you has a deflated left rear tire. The driver probably doesn't know this because if he was aware of it, he would probably take the necessary measures.

Routes designated for horse lorries
It would be great if you had a designated section for routes for horse lorries or any lorries. The if this section is selected it navigates suitable routes/roads for these types of vehicles!

airborn police
In addition to an alert for police vehicles that are mobile - it would be nice for some kind of an alert for airborn police. I was traveling a week ago and spotted what was most likely an police airplane but there was no useful way to report it.

Ambulance
Good morning. Thank you for your application. I have a suggestion. I am a paramedic and like many paramedics we use your application to respect speed limits and pay attention to control zones. Would it be possible to add an ambulance vehicle and if possible a quickest route for the ambulances taking into account the size of the ambulances. Thank you in advance for considering my proposal.

I would like to know when a bicycle or a motorbike is at a close distance from me, treated as a hazard
When I ride my bike I would like to let Waze know that I am a hazard to other drivers. Other drivers would be warned when I am close to them. Alternatively, as a car driver, I would like to be able to activate a mode that warns me about bicycles and motorcycles. I think this idea would reduce the number of accidents involving bicycles and motorbikes. This can be extended to other vehicles on the road like tractors, oversized transport vehicles...

Add road closures when not on a route
Android and Car Play do not let you mark road closures while driving. In large cities, WAZE is often inaccurate because of the number of event road closures that go unreported. Please add a feature to add road closures for non-drivers and off-route drivers in large cities.

Do not turn the map before you have actually turned.
Currently, when you arrive at a crossroads, the map turns as soon as you stop. If you are not looking at the screen, you will make a mistake. The same thing happens at small roundabouts. The vehicle could almost go straight ahead, but the map turns for no good reason.

Dears, velocimeter (speedometer) in waze app is incorrectly always.. In open sky and in cloudy days and nights. Please do a test!!!
I out with car vehicle and waze is not showing in the speedometer the correct velocity in my city.. And it's a big city with many antennas in Brazil.

Recenter car in landscape mode
In landscape mode, the vehicle is to the far right of the screen. This HAS to be a bug. Not a suggestion. Please fix.

Making a version for cyclists/horses
Making a versions whereby a cyclist, motorcyclist, horse rider or even pedestrian can state they are on the road.
Any one of these individuals could maybe toggle a switch to say they are undertaking an activity on a road other than driving a vehicle. This would be hugely advantageous for people traversing country roads especially.
The selection of users would/could be great, and the feature would reduce deaths and accidents immeasurably world wide.
The alert could obviously include a statement that a ‘horse rider’ is ahead along with a neigh or something for fun or to clarify. The same…

Car Play Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze Turn By Turn Dirrections Appearing On Instrument Cluster
Please allow users to enable and disable turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster. I don’t want to see it on my instrument cluster when I already have it on my navigation screen. Turn-by-turn directions on the instrument cluster were only available before on Apple Maps, recently Google Maps added it without any mention in the app update notes and no option in the settings to turn it off. Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition
I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise. 1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

In motorcycle mode make all choice options timed so they go away without need to press an option (not possible while riding, or in gloves)
New route available options make Waze useless on a motorcycle. They cover the speedo and cannot be selected without stopping, removing glove and pressing a choice. I had to stop three times today. I have a bluetooth controller on the bike but that seems to get disabled when these announcements appear so stopping is the only option. I am using the motorcycle mode with motorcycle selected as my vehicle.

A way to take a picture of slow left lane drivers
Waze users take pictures of slow left-hand lane drivers. Then multiple pictures of the same slow vehicle in the left lane would notify law enforcement.

Most hazard alerts should not expire
When a hazard alert, such as a construction zone or a stopped vehicle is posted, it should not simply expire. It should remain active until a user explicitly responds that it's "Not there."
There's no reason that a long-term construction project, for example, should have to be reported repeatedly day after day for months. The same applies to most types of alerts, such as broken traffic lights and potholes. Once the hazard is gone, users will say so. Until then, it should remain active.

Stop blocking excessive reporting
There are a huge number of pot holes in Sydney due to the floods and rainfall. I was reporting each and every one until I got flagged for excessive reporting noting my account would be blocked from reporting. If this is designed to be a community app, remove this feature blocking people so we can save damage to our vehicles and potentially save lives.
