Problem: When using Waze through Android Auto, roundabouts show incorrect navigation symbols in the car’s HUD and media widget. This does not happen in Google Maps.
The main screen shows correct instructions, but the HUD and widget display incorrect icons — often showing wrong turn direction or exit.
Please verify if the Android Auto metadata (like NavigationTemplate or TripInfo) is being sent correctly by Waze for HUD integration.4 votes -
Recenter car in landscape mode
In landscape mode, the vehicle is to the far right of the screen. This HAS to be a bug. Not a suggestion. Please fix.

Improve directions to rental returns at Geneva airport on the Swiss side
Since it isn’t possible to enter the vehicle return garage from the direction of Annecy give correct directions showing the U turn necessary 1k further on

app suggestion
It would be good if in the app I can identify that the damaged vehicle on the road is a car, pick up, truck or bus you can sell this information for the towing town and then they pick up the cars and keep the road safe and clean

Stop blocking excessive reporting
There are a huge number of pot holes in Sydney due to the floods and rainfall. I was reporting each and every one until I got flagged for excessive reporting noting my account would be blocked from reporting. If this is designed to be a community app, remove this feature blocking people so we can save damage to our vehicles and potentially save lives.

Caravan Mode / Follow Me Mode
I've been thinking in a new mode for Wazers... I've been driving with family along the road in different vehicles, not once we've been able to keep the same speed or pace and we end loosing sight of where the vehicles are. In Mexico safety its a very important matter, and everytime we are not able to see where the other cars that are driving with us we call them or text them to see if everything is fine. I imagine a Caravan Mode in which multiple Waze accounts are linked for a trip and you can watch…

In motorcycle mode make all choice options timed so they go away without need to press an option (not possible while riding, or in gloves)
New route available options make Waze useless on a motorcycle. They cover the speedo and cannot be selected without stopping, removing glove and pressing a choice. I had to stop three times today. I have a bluetooth controller on the bike but that seems to get disabled when these announcements appear so stopping is the only option. I am using the motorcycle mode with motorcycle selected as my vehicle.

Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition
I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise. Wake up command and Voice Reporting
Hi the New beta is fine but we still need a button to report by speech, because you are still forced to press buttons on smartphone to report a situation we need a wake up command IN WAZE
(like hi Waze please report traffic ahead). Or Hi Waze Report. And Waze says: what would you like to report? Traffic ahead.
- same as google but google Assistent commands only affects and redirects to google browser..
Not waze it does nothing in Waze. Only google maps!

Most hazard alerts should not expire
When a hazard alert, such as a construction zone or a stopped vehicle is posted, it should not simply expire. It should remain active until a user explicitly responds that it's "Not there."
There's no reason that a long-term construction project, for example, should have to be reported repeatedly day after day for months. The same applies to most types of alerts, such as broken traffic lights and potholes. Once the hazard is gone, users will say so. Until then, it should remain active.

Alert for run-down animals
English: We members of a robotics team created a new Waze alert. Imagine how much will be feasible alert when someone saw or trampled an animal? Usually the people don’t know what do when they trample an animal, if the Waze has this option the rescue of these animals will be easier of be accomplished and the animals will not die for staying for a long time waiting to they be ransomed.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

Do not turn the map before you have actually turned.
Currently, when you arrive at a crossroads, the map turns as soon as you stop. If you are not looking at the screen, you will make a mistake. The same thing happens at small roundabouts. The vehicle could almost go straight ahead, but the map turns for no good reason.

Please consider an option of RV routes on paved roads only.It would be nice to select road type for all vehicles.

Upsize the notifications options
The yes and no options are too small and should fill in the space that is blurred atm to make it easier to click the option while in a moving vehicle.

In vehicle settings it would be really useful to show vans as the speed limits are different usually 10mph less but you could check this. Thanks

AI Assisted Guidance into all Turns, Exits, or Course changes
I would like the App to use AI to change the color of the road when you are within 1000 feet of your turn, exit or course change. That color guide should extend INTO the turn, exit, or course change following your vehicle as it goes through the path. There should also be small bold arrow heads running along that path as you follow it so the driver is never confused exactly where the vehicle needs to go.

Dears, velocimeter (speedometer) in waze app is incorrectly always.. In open sky and in cloudy days and nights. Please do a test!!!
I out with car vehicle and waze is not showing in the speedometer the correct velocity in my city.. And it's a big city with many antennas in Brazil.

Simplify Wazer and Editor workflow for residential places
The current method for a wazer to add their home to the map is confusing and creates more work for waze map editors. The workflow for a wazer is similar to this:
Wazer selects the yellow triangle (if it's displayed on their map)
Next selects "Place"
(now it is about to get really confusing)
Wazer must take a picture
The next screen says "Select Place" with a text field that says "Enter Place name".
For a residence, the wazer should not enter a place name. Just below the text field there is apparently a "button" that if tapped will add…32 votes -
Give the option yo mute certain alerts.
I don't need to have an audible alert for every kind of alert. If I travel a long trip knowing a vehicle on shoulder ahead every five minutes is annoying.
