Emergency route
Hello! We want a development that makes it easier for ambulances, firefighters, and police officers to respond to an accident. The vehicle category should be selectable for vehicles with distinctive markings, so that they can approach the site by the shortest route. You can also enter streets where it is forbidden to drive in or except with a permit.

Caravan Mode / Follow Me Mode
I've been thinking in a new mode for Wazers... I've been driving with family along the road in different vehicles, not once we've been able to keep the same speed or pace and we end loosing sight of where the vehicles are. In Mexico safety its a very important matter, and everytime we are not able to see where the other cars that are driving with us we call them or text them to see if everything is fine. Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition
I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise. AI Assisted Guidance into all Turns, Exits, or Course changes
I would like the App to use AI to change the color of the road when you are within 1000 feet of your turn, exit or course change. That color guide should extend INTO the turn, exit, or course change following your vehicle as it goes through the path. There should also be small bold arrow heads running along that path as you follow it so the driver is never confused exactly where the vehicle needs to go.

It would be good if in the app I can identify that the damaged vehicle on the road is a car, pick up, truck or bus you can sell this information for the towing town and then they pick up the cars and keep the road safe and clean

Stop blocking excessive reporting
There are a huge number of pot holes in Sydney due to the floods and rainfall. I was reporting each and every one until I got flagged for excessive reporting noting my account would be blocked from reporting. If this is designed to be a community app, remove this feature blocking people so we can save damage to our vehicles and potentially save lives.

Give the option yo mute certain alerts.
I don't need to have an audible alert for every kind of alert. If I travel a long trip knowing a vehicle on shoulder ahead every five minutes is annoying.

Change font size on search results
When you enter a search the first summary line is <- Your location (in large font) -> address (in small font) The small font is hard to read (especially for those of us who need glasses for reading but not driving). It makes much more sense to have the "Your location" in small font (or not there at all because it is always the same text) and the desired address in the largest font possible on the screen

Fix the speed display
I rely on the speed limit and vehicle speed showing up on the screen (I use Apple Play in my vehicles). However, recently, it is not showing, although the setting is still set to display it.

Alert for run-down animals
English: We members of a robotics team created a new Waze alert. Imagine how much will be feasible alert when someone saw or trampled an animal? Usually the people don’t know what do when they trample an animal, if the Waze has this option the rescue of these animals will be easier of be accomplished and the animals will not die for staying for a long time waiting to they be ransomed.

In vehicle settings it would be really useful to show vans as the speed limits are different usually 10mph less but you could check this. Thanks

Give us centered landscape mode
I'd like for the vehicle icon to be in the center of the screen on landscape mode. Having it so far off to the side is infuriatingly dumb.

Do not turn the map before you have actually turned.
Currently, when you arrive at a crossroads, the map turns as soon as you stop. If you are not looking at the screen, you will make a mistake. The same thing happens at small roundabouts. The vehicle could almost go straight ahead, but the map turns for no good reason.

Use front-facing camera to do things (if available)
I position my iPhone in a cradle that attaches to the windscreen, and I think that I'm not alone. This camera has a pretty unobstructed view of the road ahead, which Waze could use to produce awesomeness! I can immediately think of a number of cool things that you could do with this, depending on how much image processing you want to do. Here are some user stories for you :)

Dears, velocimeter (speedometer) in waze app is incorrectly always.. In open sky and in cloudy days and nights. Please do a test!!!
I out with car vehicle and waze is not showing in the speedometer the correct velocity in my city.. And it's a big city with many antennas in Brazil.

Alert And/Or Settings/Navigation Option for Low Bridges
Low bridges (rail and road) are an issue throughout Westchester County, NY and over-height trucks frequently strike these bridges. Apparently on S Main (Rt 1) in Port Chester, Metro North is reporting a low bridge as an object in the road (for several months).
The problem here is, I would never consider a bridge as an 'object in road'. Rather, this alert distracts from looking at the low bridge warning signs. Drivers would pay attention to a permanent alert of a low bridge for this and other sites. Or for navigation by over-height vehicles, adding an option in settings/navigation…66 votes -
Commercial routing
Commercial Route option; helps avoid roads and highways that either limit by weight or commercial vehicles in general.
I utilize a commercial vehicle mainly by label in Connecticut and they restrict routes for these vehicles. Waze doesn’t know that and impossible to navigate around
