  2. Decreased Max Volume: Apple Music Connected to Waze Playing through Bluetooth

    If I’m playing music through Apple Music connected with Waze playing through the car’s Bluetooth: Before beginning navigation, volume for the song begins at 100% of what the phone volume is set to, spoken navigation directions decreases volume of song to give 50/50 blend of music and directions at 100% total volume, and then PROBLEM - music volume increases after directions to ~85% total volume.

    My car speakers don’t get loud so I need the phone and car volume at max, and with Waze I cannot get the best experience.

  3. Driver Safety Points: auto-reply to texts, speaker/bluetooth calls only, and speeding alerts.

    It would be great if, when you signed into Waze, you were prompted to click on Driver or Passenger. If you are the driver, Waze puts the phone into drive mode, and it either auto-replies to texts with one of five pre-set messages (set up in settings), or it becomes completely voice activated, so it reads your incoming text aloud and allows you to respond via voice only (also set in settings per driver preference).   5. Auto Launch app when connecting to a specific bluetooth device (Car)

    It's something that holds me back to switch to Waze. I need the app to start up automatically when connecting to a self set chosen Bluetooth network.
    That way you never have to touch the app for starting automatically when driving. Only when you want to use the app when navigating.

    I think this stops a lot of users changing to Waze.

  6. Please extend the over speed alarm tone as it is too short when using bluetooth phone connect setting

    When using "Bluetooth Phone" connection on Audi the connection time is so long that the short overspeed alarm tone is not played over the car speakers, all that happens is the cars entertainment system is turned down and dead air is played.

    You should add support for On Board Diagnostics OBD II from elm327 bluetooth as Torque app does and the stats to Waze user profile.

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

  11. Sound output in a new iOS version not working

    Please fix sound output in a new iOS version: Bluetooth/phone speakers. Sound is set to phone speakers, but goes to Bluetooth after recent update. I listen to the radio, not Bluetooth (bt is on for phone calls and the car is connected), as a result I do not hear Waze sounds - missed turns, missed notifications and trip alerts.
    Please fix it, this feature was so useful while working :)

    This is best way to have waze on when is needed in car.
    Leave the car - waze goes off.

  20. Interaction with OBDII information via third party ODBII bluetooth adapter.

    Waze could collect several information from injection module and display accordingly with users necessities.

    Furthermore, the Waze could have the option to invert the display so that the user can use as a head up display. This way is safer.
