Good afternoon, I wanted to suggest streamlining the Waze system. In light of recent truck crashes on bridges, I would enter a figure for the maximum height of all bridges, so that before each trip, the truck driver would have to measure the maximum height and enter the figure into the Waze system, and the system would automatically navigate the driver to the road with the bridge at the appropriate height. This would save on accidents and, God forbid, loss of life.

1. Map and Speed Limit Accuracy
• Please update maps and speed limit data more frequently, especially in Australia where road rules and limits are often updated.
• Ensure that the speedometer always shows the correct speed limit without disappearing or failing, as this can mislead drivers and cause unintentional speeding.
• Improve reliability so the speedometer never stops working unexpectedly.
2. Audible Alerts and Driver Focus
• Introduce louder and clearer spoken alerts for every speed limit change, so drivers do not have to look at their phone screen.

I wonder if you could display username whoever report crashes on Waze and limit change of username twice in years something, here in Gold coast Australia tow truck drivers post false reports of crashes everyday and change their username multiple times in day, some of them just distract opposition tow truck drivers by reporting fakes and create traffic chaos for public and some of them just do for fun only. because there are no more likes or dislikes options shown on reports now it's very hard to know if they are reported legit or false, some of doggy tow truck…

Accident notification update
Hello I am a tow truck driver in the city of Toronto. Us tow truck drivers use the app to locate accidents a lot and was thinking that if you guys could make an update that can notify us of accidents within desired ranges I.e (5km, 10km, 20km) as soon as the post is made it would much more helpful allowed to searching through the map every 5 minutes to find a post

Need to STOP these massive auto and truck pile ups. There must be a way to warn oncoming traffic of major trouble ahead.

Sure the first autos or trucks that cause the accident would not be effective but how about the many vehicles that are about to plow into them. 50 vehicles or more in these pileups is ridiculous with today's technology.

Adding an option for TOL Control in Bulgaria
In Bulgaria, TOL Control inspectors are marked as POLICE, due to the lack of "TOL Control" button. Also the app is used by bus and truck drivers whose activities are controlled by EAAA (Executive Agency Automotive Administration) and SAI (State Automobile Inspectorate). If these options are added to the app, it would be suitable for bus and truck drivers.

Waze has been around long enough now, how about realistic & more detailed vehicles, instead of the green car, silver car, blah, blah, blah. Why isn't there a pickup truck, Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, Dodge, Toyota, etc? Realistic & detailed vehicles please!

"User state" option: Invite the user to each opening of the application, to choose the way in which it is going to be mobilized (always open in default with the last state)
In this way, Waze will be able to immediately segregate user data when it does not correspond to, for example, driving a car.

Commercial Trucking
It’s 2024 and many truck drivers are you biggest users. There are other apps but none have the community base, live updates, live events, updated closures. It’s time that truckers get the best of the best of driving apps. Garmin navigation is the biggest but are rarely updated and do not have LIVE updates. It’s time that you add trucking to your menu and all the restrictions because Waze has better updates than all apps. Maybe acquire another app and make it happen. Make car icon customizable
Make the little car icon on the screen while I'm navigating customizable. I'd like to be able to make it look like my car...starting with my car's color. You could have a small number of car types (truck, van, sedan, sports car), or a more elaborate library of make/model/year (I vote for 2010 Chevy Camaro!)

Accurate speed
When using Apple Car Play, my speed is continuously 12+mph over what I am actually doing. I can use the app on my phone just fine it’s accurate within + or - 2mph. I am confused as to why my truck displays such a difference. Brand new truck, brand new iPhone. All updates to apps and devices as required.

Truck drivers distort the measured speeds. If they were treated separately, WAZE would be much more accurate.
It may be that there's no interest in optimizing the app for vehicles over 3.5 tons, such as motorhomes, trucks, buses, and the like, but drivers of precisely these vehicles still use Waze because Waze is simply one of the best navigation apps. However, these typically much slower vehicles distort the average speeds of users determined by Waze, so it would certainly make the app much more accurate if users could enter their vehicle data, such as weight and size, so that the data can be assigned accordingly when collecting the returned data.
