1. On commute mute turn by turn direction BUT announce incidents (accidents, caps, speed camera. Etc.)

   If you drive the same route every day (as many people do ) you will not need to hear the turn by turn direction but do need advance warning of incidents ie: cop ahead, slow down in traffic, speed camera ahead etc. right now the only option is all or nothing in the (Setting-sound- navigate guidance) menu. it would also limit the number of times Waze interrupts on ongoing phone call. Thus making app even. MORE DESIRABLE!

   Proposal: Adding a “Smart Location Clipboard” Feature to Waze on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

   Current Issue:
   When using Waze through CarPlay or Android Auto, drivers and map editors cannot directly save or share a location from the Waze interface.
   To save a location, the driver must:
   1. Disconnect the phone from CarPlay/Android Auto.
   2. Open Waze on the phone.
   3. Select “Share location.”
   4. Exit the app.
   5. Paste the location into Notes or another app and manually add details.

   This process is complicated, distracting for the driver, and in some cases, can cause accidents.

   Proposed Solution – “Smart Location Clipboard”:
   • Add a button or voice command within Waze on CarPlay/Android Auto to save the current location or any location shown on the map directly.
   • No need to disconnect the phone or leave Waze.
   • Saved locations are stored in a special “clipboard” inside Waze.
   • Ability to quickly assign a tag or category to the saved location (e.g., school, gas station, landmark, construction site, etc.) either:
   • By selecting from a quick list on the screen, or
   • By using a simple voice command such as:
   • “There is a school here”
   • “There is a gas station here”
   • “There is a landmark here”
   • Users and editors can later review, edit, and share these saved locations from the phone.

   Benefits:
   • Reduces driver distraction and increases road safety.
   • Simplifies the workflow for active map editors.
   • Speeds up the process of recording important points and notes while driving.
   • Encourages richer and more accurate map data through quick categorization and instant voice reporting.

3. Fix horizontal view mode, max speed is hidden behind HUGE black road info, zoom hidden auto not working, behind HUGE black road nr square,

   Fix horizontal mode

   • fix hidden zoom (behind black square) top left
   • fix maximum speed hidden behind black square top left
   • fix auto zoom, car stays out of range (no zoom)
   • fix HUGE black navigation board top left.

   Its blocking everything!!

4. Android auto/ waze YouTube music bar is now gone an replaced with app icons

   The skip song pause music bar for YouTube music is now gone when running Android auto while using waze. This is now a big issue as that bar has been replaced with all the app icons so I now physically have to tap the YouTube music icon an open the app up then change/pause my music which takes my eyes off the road way more then before so this is a serious issue. I don't know if this is a waze issue or Android auto as I didn't have this happen till the new update for Android auto just came out so I believe it is the newest update for Android auto. So please let's get this icon back somewhere on the screen as it was convenient an safer then it now is. I have video an pictures of what is happening also so let's address the issue an get it fixed please as I know I am not the only one who like it back the way it was.

5. Speed camera alert distance

   It would be very useful to be able to increase the distance at which speed camera alerts are triggered. Currently they are way too short (too little notice) - speed cameras can now detect cars at a significant distance away, and multiple times I've had the alert triggered only after I could see the camera and it could see me (usually on a motorway bridge).

6. Speed indicator

   It would be nice for the speed indicator and the time to be on the left hand side of the display rather than the right so the driver can view it easier on the car's display.

7. Speed camera audible alert issue

   I'm not sure if this is the same for all or just an issue with my install but it would be good to have an audible alert for every speed camera that I pass on a journey because at present the only audible alert I get is for the first camera I pass, there after, all additional cameras only show up as a visual alert.

8. Time to destination/speed

   While I do like coolwalk better then the previous version, I don't understand why you don't copy and paste the phone version of Waze. As someone who commutes almost 150 miles a day, the time to destination was most useful. I could tell how much traffic there was by the time to destination. Now it was replaced with toll pricing, which is not even accurate. Speed and speed limit need to be on the drivers side and also as a colorblind person, the red over black is even more difficult to see in addition to the font being incredibly small. Voice reports do not work......and they didn't work on the previous version either.

9. Please give back functionality to have Map when connected to Android Auto

   Google who owns Android Auto and Waze should allow the user to decide preference for map or directions when connected to Android Auto. Given many factors one or the other could be a lot safer so the new way of forced directions is Not for safety. Need to place a setting to choice or give back functionality. The workaround of reverting back to previous version and Never updated an app is ridiculous cause could miss out on many good features introduced. Come on Google don't be like Apple and dictate what we can do... That is anti Android.

   Plus it does not make sense cause not like y'all are migrating to Waze and gonna abandon Google Maps. Heck I love to have Google maps on my console and Waze map on my phone. Perfect and safest thing for me and I am sure a lot others.

   OK off soap box. Just stop trying to over think for people that is Apples job for their customer base. Android is for tech minded, tweakers, modders and the like. Free love is the way of Android.... LOL please please please

10. Disable "show on map reduced speed alerts"

    Disabling the option "show on map reduced speed alerts" should be available under reports according to google support for Android mobile.
    This option is not available tough.
    I want to be able to turn off the "reduced speed" reports.
    Please fix.

12. Speed camera toggle

    Please give us a avoid speed camera reroute toggle similar to toll ways. Seems like your app keeps routing us into cameras by default. These are bad unhealthy unsafe driving conditions in high traffic areas that I would prefer to avoid and go around.

14. Removal of turn by turn view via auto android via phone

    Could you adjust the phone screen when connected to android auto, main screen on the display in the car, the turn by turn to be removed so you can view the navigation on your phone rather than the display.
    Honestly looking down rather that looking across slightly seems alot more safer when driving. I'm resorting to not connecting my phone through the usb connection due to this change.

16. Stop using term "speed trap"

    For automated camera enforcement of highway speed, the app warns of a "speed trap" ahead. That term implies there is some sort of trick or sneaky way the speed is being enforced, but that is not the case. There is plenty of signage and warning about the camera enforcement. I think you should change it to just "speed camera". That would also be consistent with when the app warns of a red light camera, not a "red light trap". Thanks!

17. Speed Lines

    Hello, we have "speed lines" in Pennsylvania, among 9 other states, where police can setup nearby and measure your car when it crosses one line in the road and then the time it takes for it to cross a second line a short ways down the road to measure speed. It is called Vascar. Could you add a "speed line" option for the app to keep track of these when encountered by Wazers?

18. Affichage de la zone de danger (bargraph) sur Android Auto comme sur le Tél ?

    Bonjour,
    Serait-il possible d'afficher la distance de la zone de danger (le bargraph vert) sur Android Auto comme c'est le cas sur le Tél ?
    Celà ne prendrait pas trop d'espace sur l'ecran gauche d'Android AUTO et permettrait de savoir si on est encore dans la zone ou pas, car des fois, l'alerte sonore n'est pas entendue.

19. Waze doesn't load the map on auto auto

    Waze works offline when i use wireless android auto and loading the maps completely. Another navigation app work perfectly.

20. Add in Android Auto the list of "notices" on my route, as also available on phone.

    Oh phone is possible to list all notice (queue, incident, etc) on my route. It should be available on Android Auto too.
