2. I suggest that you add speed reduction warning to your icons for hazards.

   On motorways when there is a speed reduction sign it would stop people braking heavily if they’re aware it’s coming up.

4. Allow comments to be added to police reports (as it was before)

   This use to be a standard feature. It should be added again. Stopped police vehicles tend to slow down traffic and actually create accidents. It is important to relay what is happening in the report (e.g. vehicular accident, speed trap, stopped car on shoulder, etc.) so as to help other Waze users navigate accordingly and to help protect other motorists.

5. Auto speed adjustment integration with cruise control and auto brake function. On highways only.

   Because of fuel burned, brake pads worn, and accidents during traffic on highways and frustration of stopping on a highway for apparently no reason at all.
   Wake has enough data on the highway to integrate with auto manufacturers Cruise Control and auto braking function to keep all traffic flowing a almost constant speed. Without the concertina effect caused by human speed adjustment error. Humans will never fully trust or do not want to wait for or would possibly even afford a self driving car.
   This system would only be available on highly congested highways to keep the flow of vehicles moving. With this system the more wazers on the highway integrating their speed would be able to preempt average speed allocation for nearly every vehicle.
   Less fuel burned, less brake pad wear, less bingles, less frustration for the human race???

6. Stop changing routes automatically while I'm driving!

   Waze needs to stop AUTOMATICALLY changing my route on me. It's frustrating especially when I chose the non-toll route on the way back. Then I look at the app and it's showing the route I did NOT choose!!

7. Stop keeping the GPS on at all time

   Stop keeping the GPS on at all times you're killing my battery and data. No other app is using the GPS at all times constantly except you. This is ridiculous and I'm thinking about deleting the app and switching to Google Maps. Please provide a solution or a fix to this giant issue.

   Turn your location permissions to ‘While in use’. This should fix the issue.

8. You have to get this app to stop overheating

   Waze is causing my iPhone 13 to overheat on a 20 minute journey and makes the app useless. It will damage the phone if I continue to use it. Someone needs to address this issue as I see from feedback and google it is not an isolated case nor unique to iPhones. It’s a great app but too risky to now use

9. someone died today and i could have saved them with waze if waze had a very simple adjustment

   Dear Waze, i am a student driver, today i was on the highway and Waze alerted me that a car was on the side of the road. I saw it but i also saw that the notifcation only said the car was on the side of the road, and also asked to confirm if it was still there ..... I looked at the car, but i was too focussed on driving straight because im still learning, to really look at the car, i was doubting if i should stop to see if i could help, thousands of cars were passing this one car on the side of the road and i was afraid to stop because i never did that before. I went to the gasstation and returned home.... i passed that car again , this time on the other side and i saw...ambulance, doctors, firemen, a white towel.....on a body. Someone DID stop AFTER i passed apparantly.... and they alerted the emergencies but it was too late.... If i stopped and alerted them , maybe a life could have been saved. Waze, i feel terrible, i feel like i am guilty for not stopping and i beg of you, please show on that notification of ' stopped car' a little text that says how many minutes that car has been reported to have been standing still there , the lights were on of that car so i knew someone was inside, and if Waze would have told me, longer than 10 minutes, i would have risked it and tried to stop on the side and i would have checked it and possibly this person would have still been alive. Lets save lives together

10. Bug in when driving using Navigate adjusting "Avoid Highways and Tolls"

    I think that if I am using the Navigate, but then decide to turn on or off the Navigation settings (Settings > Navigation) "Avoid Toll Roads & Avoid Major Highways, it should address this when it refreshes your route, but it does not. I have to completely Stop navigation and restart.

11. Stop reporting minor incidents. Stop sending data to Google Maps that there is an accident

    Allowing people to be amateur journalists has become a real danger. You list an accident on Google maps, but on Waze, is just a car on the shoulder. Listing these minor incidents causes people to have more traffic and accidents.

    You are promoting people to use their phones to report data to you, that you turn around and sell to other companies. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Why can't you just change it to major incidents. When the police are showing up to an accident, why do i see several police traps right by the accident? Maybe mislabeled reporting or button removal to report police quickly. Need to change that. Your product can be useful if you stop allowing trolls to post useless info, or are complacent in bad reporting.

    These should be the only acceptable reporting incidents. (May have missed some) but
    -Accident
    -police
    -fire
    -road closed
    -bad weather
    -road hazard(items in roadway)
    -construction,
    -DUI checkpoints(don't agree with but),
    -detours(with viable alternate routes)

    Because misreported accidents go to Google Maps, it limits your ability to detour around accident quickly and safely. This funnels people thus a cascading effect on traffic, which in turn makes people trust your traffic data less and less. doesn't seem to account for building/declining traffic, or the time it takes to get to that point of trip. Doesn't think down the road, so to say.

    Makes me use roads i get the better timing from, ie, essentially rendering your product less useful, more and more everyday. So tidy up a few issues and make your product more valuable to everyone.

12. Weird idea, but very useful

I wanted to suggest an idea that came to my mind today, as it is not available in any other application. More and to make the driver always awake and to stay in constant contact with the application when he stops at the traffic lights
    So that my idea is that you develop a specific feature that calculates the amount of waiting at the traffic light so that this thing can be known and is not difficult, but when you can calculate the amount of waiting for the driver at the traffic light, you practically help him to remain prepared and not cause delays to others , This feature can develop the application more than wonderfully. 13. User rating on intersection after you reach destination

    Please give us the ability to rate our ability to turn at any or all intersections when we reach our destination if we choose to.

    Example: "Please rate your ease of turning (left or right) at any or all intersections in your route."

    Waze always tells me to try a left turn at rush hour in a particular area that would take ten minutes sitting at the stop sign waiting for traffic to thin enough to make it accross assuming the other side is ALSO clear...

14. For every people and preserve the planet, in 1970 there was the "Stop" now there is go-stop

    Hi, I would like to make this program, but it's not my job. However, my idea should be very interesting for everyone I think.
    In the same time, that should be a very good methode to preserve the planet.

16. Track my car's vitals; build database for community benefits

    This is a big idea, no small undertaking I know. I'd like to combine my GPS app with the functionality of an app like Gas Cubby, which tracks my MPG at every fill-up and alerts me when my car is due for maintenance.

    Here's how I envision it:
    -I tell Waze what car I drive: ex: 2003 Saturn Vue, 6 cyl, automatic
    -Every time I stop to fill up, I tell Was
    a) What my current odometer reads (waze should know how many miles I've driven in theory, but this is a checksum validation in case I forgot to open the app while driving a few miles)
    b) How many gallons I pumped
    c) What price I paid
    d) Waze automatically detects what gas station I'm at
    -This allows Waze to track my MPG and cost of driving
    -This also incentivizes wazers to use the gas price feature more often

    Waze can then go several directions:
    -Keep a database of real world avg MPG ratings for all sorts vehicles, a valuable database to have for people purchasing new and used cars.
    -Waze gets more accurate gas price database because people use the feature at every fill-up
    -Alert me of the best price of gas on my commute when it knows I'm low on gas (IE: it can tell I fill up on average every 300 mi, it starts suggesting places when I've gone 250 mi.)
    -I can request routes based on new factors: quickest, shortest, or most economical route (since it can learn my MPG in city vs highway driving... it's tracking all of it after all). In many case I find, the route that's going to take me an extra 3-5 minutes to drive is also the route that will save me money on gas, which is worth it to me; but not always. It's hard to tell and waze could compute this for me.
    -It can give an estimated cost of trip as well as ETA (EX: 20 mi to work, 26 minute ETA, $3.42 estimate cost of commute given current local gas prices and your driving habits and mpg)
    -It can also alert me of other maintenance items: oil changes, timing belts, fuel filters, even to check tire pressure every couple thousand miles.

    All of this would incentivize Wazers to leave the app open at all times when driving, whether they need directions or not, which in turn gives waze more accurate map and traffic date. This also gives a new aspect to the 'game' that is waze: I get to track and beat my own 'score' (mpg), and even 'beat' the avg MPG of other Wazers with my vehicle type.

    I've been looking for a GPS that does all this for a long time, and there isn't a good one. Waze has the best chance of becoming that. I know it's a big request, but I think it would be amazing.

17. Optimun Gas Fill up station and report

    It would be very usegul to have a road map calculator to the most optimum gas station depending on the fuel consumption of your car (that you can report manually after each travel), depending of the gas price in eah station and depending of the traffic to reach that destination.

    If you want to fill up just a couple of gallon it is not optimum to go to the cheapest one, instead you want to go to the nearest one, but if you want to go to fill a full tank it is more optimum to go to the cheapest one regardless of the fuel you are going to consume reaching there.

    Also, it would be useful to add an optimum fel stop in the route you are planning. Whih is the most optimum place to deviate from your current travel to go to a specific gas station

18. Waze sleeping mode shortcut for ios shortcuts

    Could you please add settings in the waze to stop using GPS on the background or ios shortcut for sleeping mode?
    I am using apple shortcut to start waze when I connect my phone to the bluetooth headset in my car. I am using navigation everytime I enter my car and looking for any way how to close waze, or stop location services - sleeping mode or any other solution to stop draining my battery. In apple shorcuts is no way to close app. There are several waze shortcuts but all of them is related to navigate somewhere, add point etc. No possiblity to close waze, or prevent using power consuming GPS locationing on the background.
    So I every day when I am leaving the car I have to switch off or sleep the app manually.

    Could you please add settings in the waze to stop using GPS on the background or ios shortcut for sleeping mode?

19. Traffic fixer/ Auto Traffic Control

    Use the wazer data to "improve" traffic scenarios. Like serving as air traffic control, waze could recommend speed to reduce the stop and go of traffic and "fix" one of the causes of traffic from driving habits. Would prob need to expand functionality to identify travel lane .. But with the number wazers around it could have huge impact
