1. Readd the autozoom disable funtion

   The autozoom disable function was removed in the last update. I am very disappointed with this. I never used autozoom and I am not a fan. I like to stay zoomed out so now I am fighting with the app every few minutes. Please return this function. I am not the type to makes threats to stop using something but I researching other navigation apps to avoid doing this. Or at least let me set the zoom function (how far to zoom in and out and at what speeds). I could set it all consistently if I don't want it to zoom at all. Or allow me to set the zoom based on distance to my next turn. That is much more helpful than speed. That being said I should be able to set it to zero if desired to disable autozoom. Thanks.

   Great news! The option to disable the auto zoom is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

2. Stop reporting minor incidents. Stop sending data to Google Maps that there is an accident

   Allowing people to be amateur journalists has become a real danger. You list an accident on Google maps, but on Waze, is just a car on the shoulder. Listing these minor incidents causes people to have more traffic and accidents.

   You are promoting people to use their phones to report data to you, that you turn around and sell to other companies. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Why can't you just change it to major incidents. When the police are showing up to an accident, why do i see several police traps right by the accident? Maybe mislabeled reporting or button removal to report police quickly. Need to change that. Your product can be useful if you stop allowing trolls to post useless info, or are complacent in bad reporting.

   These should be the only acceptable reporting incidents. (May have missed some) but
   -Accident
   -police
   -fire
   -road closed
   -bad weather
   -road hazard(items in roadway)
   -construction,
   -DUI checkpoints(don't agree with but),
   -detours(with viable alternate routes)

   Because misreported accidents go to Google Maps, it limits your ability to detour around accident quickly and safely. This funnels people thus a cascading effect on traffic, which in turn makes people trust your traffic data less and less. doesn't seem to account for building/declining traffic, or the time it takes to get to that point of trip. Doesn't think down the road, so to say.

   Makes me use roads i get the better timing from, ie, essentially rendering your product less useful, more and more everyday. So tidy up a few issues and make your product more valuable to everyone.

3. Stop avoiding intersections with stoplights and routing to dangerous intersections.

   I drive rideshare and I am constantly routed away from stoplights only to end up a very busy intersection that Waze wants me to cross or turn left onto a super busy cross-street that have low visibility due to cars parked along the side or large shrubbery. There is usually no way to turn around and I am stuck with having to wait for quite a long time for a safe time to cross or turn into high speed traffic. It seems to me the app is trying to avoid stoplights and I have no way of turning off the feature in the app. I would much rather wait at a stoplight and not endanger myself or my passengers just because the app thinks it is saving me time. Please fix this or give us a way to opt out of avoiding stoplights.

4. Add the capability to request assistance when you are the "vehicle on the side or the road"

   Many times when driving and passing vehicles that are stopped on the side of the road, i am often inclined to stop and offer assistance. Many times i have stopped just to find out it is something I can not assist with or something for which they already have help on the way for. It would be nice if you have to pull over, you can self report the vehicle on the side of the road and specify if you could use some assistance or not. Like: need help changing a tire, engine trouble, don't have a phone-need a tow, and so on. This will allow for a safe and secure way to solicit and offer assistance. the feature should be offered to verified users for security reasons.

6. The older Waze interface was better.

   The older Waze interface was better in the sense that I could see the stop button and access icons easier.. The new one has smaller type, not friendly for those that are far sighted... Especially when driving, the larger icons are better. But the stop navigation button should be right on the screen not hidden... The MOST annoying thing is that it hijacks me by automatically navigating me home by default. Even worse since it's connected to my stereo via blue tooth so my music is interrupted, and without an easy access stop button it's a pain in the butt to get it to stop... That feature should be removed, if I want to go home i'll set it. Most people from anywhere on earth can get home on their own, we don't need an auto function to take me how when 90% I am not on my way home anyway. I use it more for traffic announcements than navigation so navigation directions taking me home are secondary...

   As a frequent long-distance driver in regional Australia, I’d love to see Waze include a “Next Town Info” panel that shows what’s coming up ahead on your current route — not just traffic or hazards, but practical facilities in the next town or rest stop.

   This could pop up when you're within 10–50km of a town and show:

   🛢 Fuel stations (brand, current price if available, 24hr status)

   🍴 Food options (cafes, fast food, bakeries, etc., maybe with ratings)

   🚻 Toilets and rest stops (especially public or clean roadside options)

   🏨 Motels and phone numbers for spontaneous stopovers

   📶 Mobile signal strength, if crowd-sourced (for planning calls or remote work)

   The user could set how far in advance they want the info (e.g. 25km or 15 minutes out), and it would appear as a simple info card or optional overlay on the nav screen.

   Waze already does a brilliant job with traffic and hazard reporting. This would add a valuable planning and comfort layer for people doing long trips or remote driving, especially in countries like Australia where towns are far apart and facilities vary.

   It’d make a great addition to the Waze experience — especially for road trippers, grey nomads, transport drivers, and rural travellers.

8. Rank routes by least number of minutes in traffic

   For a long drive, calculate "% of time spent in traffic" and "# of minutes spent in traffic" and include that as a criteria.

   We just stared at 3 different routes for a 4+ hour drive that had varying lengths and amount of time in stop & go traffic. We would have liked to have selected easily "the one that makes the car move the most and has the least stop & go, so we don't get car sick and our children don't wake up."

9. Sidekicks

   Allow to have sidekicks not give directions. I love hearing street names. Sidekicks can speak when no directions are given. Such as on long roads, when stopped, etc.

10. Allow me to save custom incidents so that I can just quickly choose them.

    Most of mine are the same...

    Allow me to save custom reports that I can select by selecting a custom saved icon to do the report. I could save in the main report screen without out having to make 5 choices to report the same report type of vehicle stopped side of road

11. For every people and preserve the planet, in 1970 there was the "Stop" now there is go-stop

    Hi, I would like to make this program, but it's not my job. However, my idea should be very interesting for everyone I think.
    In the same time, that should be a very good methode to preserve the planet.
    I always use your program and I think that should be a very good idea to put this option in your soft.

13. How do I stop Waze from suggesting a route everyday that I Do Not want to take.

    Waze tells me to take this back road everyone I leave my house and I want it to stop!
    How can I change this?
    It may be 'techinically' the fastest route, but what it doesn't know is that it is a very scary, windy, hilly, one lane back road that people barrel down and I don't ever want to take it.
    I thought Waze was smart and would recognize my 'usual' routes, but it has not figured out that I don't like this road.
    Ever.
    Any suggestions?

    Interruptions to navigation screen has nearly caused accidents for me. How do I keep my navigation screen on at all times? I am not interested in socializing while driving.

15. Hello. I think it would be good to have full functionally on Apple car play. It is rather when a road is closed you have to pull over. Unpll

    There needs to be more functionality with Apple car play. It is very annoying when there is a closed road and I can’t get waze to re route without stopping. Pulling over, unplugging my phone and then reporting the road closed. I have also had a couple of annoying times where I have been unable to pave without having to jump through the same hoops.

16. Sale to Google

    I really wish you hadn't sold to Google. I know it means lots of money for you but it means my privacy using your app is gone. And most likely, they will close you down and try to force me to Google maps but I won't use the app.

    I know one person won't make a difference, but when the sale is completed I will stop using Waze.

18. Add Van (or non compliant) as vehicle type to avoid clean air zones

    Waze ability to avoid clean air zones totally falls apart if driving a van that will be charged in a clean air zone. For example Waze will route me through Bradfords clean air zone even though my vehicle has to pay the charge. There is no option to chose a non compliant vehicle so Waze avoids the zone, only private, taxi, motorbike. I just want to simply select avoid clean air zones and then start my journey confidently knowing I will avoid the zones instead of the nightmare it is when following the navigation to see clean air zone signs and to then try and find somewhere to stop open another app to see where the zone is and plot a route around it. It just doesnt make sense causes stress and is dangerous.

19. Total mileage for trip

    Show total mileage for the trip on the trip summary page for multi stop trips. If I have a 500 mile trip but add a stop 30 miles away, I only see the trip is 30 miles

20. Traze

    I just recently stopped at a rest stop during a 5-hour drive to get some food. When I went in, I only went to the bathroom, then left, because an entire middle school was filling it up. Traze would be an add-on to the app that allows people to see whether or not a rest stop is crowded (Get it, Trays?)
