option to turn voice navigation OFF while using navigation on regular route
as above, would still want voice alerts for traffic issues BUT no turn by turn voice navigation, display on phone only.

Add a warning at the beginning of a route, if there's an area we should avoid.
Every day I use Waze to drive to work. I could take either one of two basic routes. Waze usually says "let's take..." and then tells me which route to take. That helps me know which way to turn when I pull out of my driveway, but often Waze tries to make me go around the block before I can actually get started. Consequently, every morning there is confusion about what Waze is really trying to tell me. If Waze chose one route over the other because there's an accident or a major traffic jam on the other, why…

Force Reroute Button
Many times i can see that the freeway/higway I´m about to enter is slow moving, and waze wants to route me into that sometimes even if there is reported trafficjams/heavy traffic etc on that road. A button on screen or easy accesssible (poosibly instead of the bulldozer) to force an alternative route would really help

Treat roads with RTC as routable pedestrian path
Right now, when trying to route to a destination on a closed road, it's pretty much like the road no longer exists and Waze will route to the nearest open road.
Sometimes, this means that users will be routed somewhere completely different, like to the middle of a highway, to the other side of a raildroad track into a completely different neighbourhood, etc.
Segments with RTCs on them should be treated as a routable pedestrian path: route the driver to the closest entry point.

Adjust routes
Hi Waze team,
I’m a long-time Wazer (5+ years), and I truly appreciate the app. However, I’d like to share some frustrating limitations:
- Add the ability to manually edit a route with multiple intermediate stops
Waze usually finds good routes, but sometimes I want to manually adjust it — set 2–3 waypoints, fix the path myself, and avoid places I don’t want to pass. Right now, it’s not possible to fully customize a route this way.
- Allow starting a route from a different location (not current GPS location)
In Ukraine, GPS can be unreliable or blocked in certain areas.…

Announce why WAZE is changing my route last minute. There are times she is right and times she is not. Tell me why example if there traffic
There are times WAZE tells me to change route and there is no reason to do so. Other times she is right to change but since she makes so many mistakes I continue on original route then find a 20 minute traffic back up. Just tell me with voice why I need to change by route.

Personal speed limit for electric cars
As I recently done 800 miles with my zoe, I found that the fastest route is not actual fast.
Generally, best range can be achieved by keeping speed around 56 mph at motorway for an electric car.However, route optimisation has been done based on the top speed of the route unless there is a traffic.
Therefore, if we can have personalised top speed, we might different route.
5 votesGreat news! This feature is already available in Waze. It’s called Personalized ETA.
Personalized ETA setting is turned on in Settings – Navigation – Personalized ETA. Waze would analyze the drives you took in the past, calculate how long it took you to drive sections of the route, and compare this information with Waze’s estimates. Then, it uses this info to personalize your ETA whenever you search a route in Waze.
Important: Waze won’t analyze drives that you delete from your drive history. Deleting drives may disable Waze from personalizing your ETA until you take more drives.

Additional sort function for petrol stations
Please add an additional sort function for petrol stations ‘distance off route’ as well as the current ‘distance’ sort function.

Add option to avoid toll roads in certain countries
If a route spans across multiple countries, it would be nice to be able to tell Waze that I would like to avoid tolls in specific countries. For example if my route goes via three countries, I would like to avoid toll roads in Country 2 only, but still use them in Country 1 and Country 3.

Modifier le position des indications de rues qui gènent la lecture de la route à prendre
Bonjour. Je suis un utilisateur de waze depuis quelques années, et je voudrais vous demander un modification sur vos affichages. Lors d'intersections (surtout en villes), vos affichages violets se superposent sur les routes/rues ou l'on doit aller... et sur beaucoup de croisements complexes ou multi rond-points, il est difficile de savoir la bonne route...
Je vous ai donc joint 2 images expliquant le souci, et une façon d'y remédier...
J'apprécierais que vous agissiez sur cette zone de visibilité afin d'éviter de prendre une mauvaise route faute d'affichage clair/

Final/total destination information including added trip to the existing laid-out route
Feature recommendation: Whenever a rider adds a destination to an existing laid-out route, the app doesn’t display final/total destination information, such as the combined distance and time to the final destination. For example, when I lay a route, I see the total miles and timing to complete the trip, and if I decide to add a coffee shop as a pit stop, it will show the total miles and timing to the pit stop rather than the whole trip. I would like to know what it would mean to me to have a pit stop that takes up…

More re-routing flexibility
I would love to specify how open i am to re-routing before a journey - i.e. being able to choose ‘reroute automatically - get me there ASAP’ or ‘don’t reroute without confirmation - prefer my route where possible.’
Why: I drive a specific one of two ways out of my city when taking a long journey because while the other road is technically faster if you drive at the speed limit it is also dangerous and has poor surface conditions. This means in reality it is slower and stressful. If I do not manage to cancel the re-routing…

I would like to have the facility to edit (e.g. add an extra, en route stop) a saved future drive!
I like to plan my journeys, and view alternative routes ahead of time, using Waze. At present it seems that, despite having “saved” a planned drive, the only way to edit your route, is to start all over again from scratch, incorporating your desired change(s) as you go through the process. For a substantial, multi-stop route, that 'is' 'a' 'pain'!

White turning arrows
Hi.Great app but recent change is little bit confusing.I’m talking about white arrows at turns.At distance to the junction it’s not clear and instantly obvious which way you should go.Before your route was continuously of certain colour but now because turns are white specifically,it is less visible.If turns were of different colour then white or perhaps the same colour as the whole route,it would be easier to see it straight away “without looking “ if you know what I mean.One more suggestion-when you get one of the routes taking you across the river Thames using ferry service,route…

CUSTOM ROUTES AND ALERTS IN APPLE CAR PLAY
I would like to record a custom route to an address and waze considers it in the calculation for the route. Often the routes provided are not the best, there are better routes. Customized routes saved by users who knew the best paths would be the most practical. At the end of the path, the user could save the path with some name. WAZE could put the same notifications that you have on your cell phone in the apple car play, such as prohibited via etc.

Show Fuel Stops on Route Map Instead of Only in List View
When selecting a fuel stop during navigation, please display the available stations overlaid directly on the map along my current route, instead of only showing them in a list. In unfamiliar areas, relying only on a list can lead to picking a station that causes an unnecessary detour. Being able to see fuel stops visually on the map would make it much easier to choose the most convenient option that lies naturally on my journey.

Routing time makes Add a Stop suggestions bigger
When I route to a location then try to route to a restaurant, the suggestion boxes will be smaller, but the route time is added a couple of seconds later and it changes the size of the box. Can we have a fixed box or add the text somewhere where it will not change the size of the box?

"Not there" option for all incidents on route clickable, not just on alerts
When on route, when there are multiple reports and alerts for police or cars on a side of road it only alerts you of only one, there others sometimes are just missed to click the "not there" option and the alert stays there for others. You should be able to click the report and show the "not there" option all times, not just the like button.
