Traffic alerts/advisory should be limited to a geographic area of the waze user.
Today I received a traffic alert for Dunedin New Zealand. At the time I am in central Texas, USA. How do I limit my alerts to my geographic area?

Add a traffic bar to map
Have a "Traffic Bar" that appear in the routes screen overlayed on the main map.
add a car to the bar that moves along with your journeys completion.

OPTION TO HIDE ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL
It would be nice sometimes to be able to hide the estimated time of arrival.
Once in while when I am travelling for recreation purposes, I would love to still be able to use Waze in order to have the distance left, the next exit and/or any potential alerts (police, accident, etc.….) except the estimated time of arrival since I don't want to be "stressed" while travelling.
Note that I don't want to permanently remove the estimated time of arrival but just have an option to hide and unhide as I please.

More realistic ETA for long drives
There should be a feature that allows you to choose in options, how many stops you make either per distance or time, and how long on average are those stops as well as whether you tend to drive slightly above or below the speed limit. Then allow Waze to make adjustments to the ETA based off those personalized settings. For example, I add about 25min per hour drive and it’s much closer to my expected ETA than what Waze provides.

Pindrop for Hazard Report
Pindrop sighting report. Everytime i sighted a hazard such as broke down vehicles, police, construction or etc on the road, as a rider, i needed to safely navigate myself through the situation before I can pull out my phone and report it, by then, I will be a distance away and the report will be inaccurate.
If I could pin drop the location of the incident/hazard, it will be a lot more useful for road user.

lost item while driving
Lost item while traveling. We recently lost a few rare items out of the back of our truck during a trip down I-70 at night. It would be awesome if we could create a lost item alert in the general area where, if a driver seen it on the side of road they could alert us, or contact us to where it was seen!

Search Content
When performing a search for say a general business name such as "Walmart", allow for travel time to be displayed with the search results. It currently seems to only support distance when trying to find locations of a business.
The closest location is not always the fastest. Many factors such as accessibility, traffic, speed limit can make a closer location take much longer to get to. Please allow for current travel time for those who would drive a little further if it can save time.

alerts for police with specified time
Change the alerting system to say “police reported 1.8 miles ahead 1 minute ago” or something along those lines. We need more information on where they are so I don’t have to search for them on the map and figure out how long ago it was.

Needs to show and CALL OUT stop signs and traffic lights as needed for turns.
In addition to showing stop signs and lights, call them out as needed for turns (instead of the distance). Apple Maps actually does a good job with this, a good example to follow.

Midpoint
It’s called midpoint. You put in your starting location and the other persons starting location. You then search for a place you wanna meet up, and it calculates where the middle ground is (you can also make it someone drives more than another if you want). Put in the time you wanna meet up, it tells you when to go. When you start the drive, you can alert the other person you are on the way, and the other person can respond w the same. Turn by turn direction alert only for last few kilometres option
Is it possible to give turn-by-turn instructions only for the last few kilometres (configurable), while the rest of the trip will give only hazard alerts? This will help enjoy the music without interruption during the initial journey in know roads.

Regular commute notification
Like most of people, I have a regular work schedule, my commute to work is always the same time and route. I do not have to check my navigation app every morning, but when something unusual happens on my route, I think I should be notified.

Have option to not interrupt music player for Waze alerts
I have navigation guidance off and prompts volume all the way down because I don't want to hear them. Yet, the Music Player is muted anyway, causing interruptions in my music enjoyment or to miss words in audiobooks. There should be a way for Waze to not interrupt the Music Player.

Radar traps alerts
Until now Waze would alert for all fixed radar traps regardeless of being used online or offline and regardless of our speed. Now that has changed and doesn't happe anymore, the alerts are only audible while online. This is a pityfull change in the aap and should be corrected asap, for this is one of Waze's most usesfull features considering the huge number of radar traps present in European cities.

Simple Voice Commands To Respond to Alerts or Hazards
Hi. Love Waze, but this idea is one of three that would take it from good to great for me...
Problem: It is a dangerous practice to interact with screens and mobile devices while driving a vehicle. In response to safety concerns, laws are increasingly being put in place prohibiting interacting with screens (touching devices) while driving. Some simple voice commands would enable meaningful interaction with Waze in this situation.
Possible Solutions:
1) Only while an alert is displayed, enable very simple voice commands to improve the quality of alert (hazard warnings), for example 'Still there' or 'Gone'.

Improve "forgot username or password" process
I upgraded to a new phone. Forgot my username & password but the entire existing process is circular. Put in my phone number (didn't receive a text w/in 24 hours). Put in my email address (didn't receive an email w/in 24 hours). I charged & started my old phone to get my username.
