Navigation avoid freeway is buried too deep add a choice for both to appear in routes as in Los Angeles always getting on and off freeway
Navigation is buried now I need to drive street or freeway all the time. Have a choice for freeway and street routes to appear when starting the app going back and forth is cumbersome and difficult if I need to leave freeway. Or bring choice to one click instead of three or four.

Electric Vehicle
Hello Devs,
I am currently in Ontario. I own an electric vehicle (with plate something like GVXX 123).
In Ontario, as far as I am aware of, all HOV Lanes are eglible to use the HOV even if there's only the driver on the vehicle. I believe in British Colmbia it's the same.By default, even if I have my vehicle type set as "Electric", Waze still try to navigate me outside HOV/Avoid HOV all together.

in order to avoid distractions during driving i wish you allow calculate routes from the main screen with one click. it happens a lot i need to decide which road to take during a fast drive and i need to operate waze to calculate the best route.

Have option to shut off vehicle stopped on shoulder.
Vehicle stopped on shoulder alert comes up constantly. If you're on a highway, you shouldn't be driving on the shoulder or breakdown lane!!!
Have an option to shut off this alert...
Or people, stop reporting it!!!!

Add audio player support for BeyondPod
BeyondPod is one of the better Android podcast apps and I use it all the time. Having it as a selection in the audio player menu would be very useful and avoid distraction when driving.

Show Lane Guidance Even If Continuing Through Junction
Lane guidance (along with Visual Instructions) is a great and helpful feature, but I've noticed that it really only comes up if making a turn.
There are many locations I've come across as an editor where a Visual Instruction would be great if continuing on the road because it provides the driver with more information. Unfortunately, even if I add it to the system it never comes up because I'm going straight through the intersection/junction.
I think showing lane guidance regardless of the "turn" would make the app more user friendly, but it obviously needs to be balanced to not…

It remains for me 2 major gaps for waze and one interesting improvement.
- The sound alert only when over speeding is insuffisant and already cost me 1pt on my licence when I accelerate to overtake. ..

Home & Work separated settings
1st world problem here. I’d like an option that for my normal routes, like my saved “home” & “work”, to have different settings. I live in a toll infested area, when I drive to work everyday, I don’t want to take the tolls, but my other driving, I might. I’d like to be able to set up my routine drive to avoid tolls, but regular driving to have the option. I have to go in and switch the toggle back to “ON” for Tolls depending upon my drive. verbose mode II
I would like waze to tell me about better courses not taken when relevant. For example when passing next to a toll road which would shorten the route, I would like waze to tell me that a shorter route exists, but was not chosen because I did not allow toll roads in the path.

Vielerorts gibt es Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen nach Uhrzeit (z.B. vor Schulen oder zum Lärmschutz) diese werden nicht nach aktueller Uhrzeit angezeigt. Selbiges gilt für wetterabhängige Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen (Regen oder Nebel) hier wäre eine Kopplung mit einem lokalen Wetterdienst toll

No stopping anytime signs parking
I would like it if waze showed signs for knowing when no stopping anytime is because I see too many people thinking it’s ok to pick up and drop people off at a dangerous busy street and I would really like it if waze shows signs for no parking anytime happens all the time at the Rockville Metro Station on the West Side and it can cause a big backup and that includes fire lanes too

Incorrect Route
Please stop directing people off Highway 80 Eastbound onto Chiles (frontage) Road and other surface roads at Davis CA. Highway 80 necks down from 5 lanes at UC Davis to 3 lanes across the Yolo Causeway. People are not getting onto the causeway any faster because of your direction. What is happening is that entire neighborhoods are blocked in. Emergency vehicles have no access as the surface roads are backed up to Highway 113 and even further. Collaborative Routing
Waze works like the most other Navigation Apps. You can choose between 1 and 3 different fixed routes, that sometimes slightly change when there is a lot of traffic ahead. The problem is, that Waze works like a broadcast as far as I know.
So when Route 1 have heavy traffic, all other users get Route 2 to avoid traffic. The problem here is, that new heavy traffic will be created to avoid the first.
All cars following the same alternative route.
