The ability to make certain areas a 'black list' or 'no go' zone that will be avoided by the routing algorithm.
Sometime the routes are through areas on roads that are either dangerous or just needs to be avoided. The ability to black list or create certain no-go areas that will be avoided by the routing algorithms at all cost, unless the the final destination is in-side the area. I would rather spend more time travelling than go through these areas.

Congestion Charge
Can you please install a warning (like with speed cameras and speed limits) that shows up when you are approaching a congestion charge zone? Also, the option to colour the CCZ map in red so you are aware of what roads to avoid? Got bitten by this with a PCN and was only one small road just off the ring road! At least a ‘speed limit style warning’ will give you an ability to know to pay before being fined!

South Africa is riddled with crime and Waze can literally save hundreds of lives by allowing users to post hot sports at dangerous intersections. Simply being aware of a dangerous intersection will allow people to stop at that light with a safe escape distance. verbose mode II
I would like waze to tell me about better courses not taken when relevant. For example when passing next to a toll road which would shorten the route, I would like waze to tell me that a shorter route exists, but was not chosen because I did not allow toll roads in the path.

Incorrect Route
Please stop directing people off Highway 80 Eastbound onto Chiles (frontage) Road and other surface roads at Davis CA. Highway 80 necks down from 5 lanes at UC Davis to 3 lanes across the Yolo Causeway. People are not getting onto the causeway any faster because of your direction. What is happening is that entire neighborhoods are blocked in. Emergency vehicles have no access as the surface roads are backed up to Highway 113 and even further. Home & Work separated settings
1st world problem here. I’d like an option that for my normal routes, like my saved “home” & “work”, to have different settings. I live in a toll infested area, when I drive to work everyday, I don’t want to take the tolls, but my other driving, I might. I’d like to be able to set up my routine drive to avoid tolls, but regular driving to have the option. I have to go in and switch the toggle back to “ON” for Tolls depending upon my drive. Add ability to report road closures at railroad crossings
Currently, you are only able to report road closures at intersections. As we all know, the road closures don't only occur at intersections. It would be nice if we could report a road closure at, let's say, for instance, a railroad crossing. Giving us the ability to report road closures at places other than intersections will allow us to plan our route more accurately and avoid us having to learn about time wasting detours the hard way.

Eliminate buggy interface
Toll notification in Android auto turns off turn by turn completely when pop up is closed. Make it work without telling me about tolls for hours.

while standing, sometimes Waze thinks we changed course, or decides we are on the opposit side and recalculates a achange in course, and it's realy confusing.

Show international borders on route
It would be very helpful to show international borders. For some reason these are not visible once the route is chosen. Due to uncertain wait times at some borders, which Waze isn't very good at calculating, it would be helpful to at least display them and let drivers make choices based on other information (there are other apps that monitor these wait times, such as Border Watch). Also, had I not already known that Waze was sending me through Albania, I would have been unable to avoid additional charges, hassles, and delays (Albania requires extra documentation from European drivers that…

Several eateries closed down permanently on my trips. Need to update to avoid wasted time and has.

Electric Vehicle
Hello Devs,
I am currently in Ontario. I own an electric vehicle (with plate something like GVXX 123).
In Ontario, as far as I am aware of, all HOV Lanes are eglible to use the HOV even if there's only the driver on the vehicle. I believe in British Colmbia it's the same.By default, even if I have my vehicle type set as "Electric", Waze still try to navigate me outside HOV/Avoid HOV all together.

We would LOVE to hear the Dukes of Hazzard voices/characters on Waze! The voice of gorgeous Beau Duke to report the police ahead . . . Sheriff Roscoe to report a hazard . . Get some ideas from the Tom Tom app to make Waze more user friendly.
I like using this app when I travel, it would be even better if the app had some of the qualities like the Tom Tom app, for example it lets you know when it’s time to get ready to make a turn on the correct road it starts flashing instead of counting down like the Waze app does. I think a flash would be more visible or something that lets you know it’s time to turn instead of a count down. I’ve missed my turn a few times because of this and if it would let you know what lane…
