Bring back the happy/sad Waze icons that used to appear in navigation alerts!
We're really missing the happy/sad Waze icons that appeared in the route update notification. Perhaps I'm not using the correct name of that feature, but it's the notification that sometimes appears during a navigated/guided route that alerts you to either building traffic up ahead/delay or a faster route identified.
The updated version of Waze (at least in iOS) no longer includes the happy/sad Waze icons, which is a shame! We loved that cool and creative addition. It's one of the many creative features that separates Waze from other navigation apps.
Please bring back the happy/sad Waze icons! =)

Waze Delivery
I run a weekly trash route. I add customers weekly. I currently use Waze but I can’t add unlimited stops on a route that optimizes stops for quickest completion of the route. I am forced to use g maps to plan my route.
Can you design a “Waze Delivery” or “Waze Pro” that offers unlimited stops for a delivery route that can also optimize the stops for quickest drive, shortest miles traveled, as well as easily add or delete a stop.
I’m very interested in these features in Waze and would definitely be willing to pay for…3 votes -
Routing server timeout on long drives
Since the app seems to consistently time out looking for long drives, I would recommend allowing more back end resources be used for drives over a certain mileage or time. This might require an upgrade based on the high number of users.
Instead of having just one option, I would like to be able to choose between options since there are riskier routes for adding traffic.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue since I can have perfect service on an iPhone 6S and consistently have your servers time out.

Please add turn list to Android Auto integration!
New to Android Auto, long time Waze user.
Please, please, please add the turn listing to your Android Auto integration. I always check this list before I leave! I always want to know the details of the selected route, sometimes Waze just gets things wrong, or I know a better way.
Right now your users are blindly following directions and don't know more than one turn at a time.

Mandorections "This is the way"- A Star Wars theme for Waze!
A feature that takes popular transportation scenario quotes from the Star Wars Franchise that voices over the "starting route to" phrase. This add on is relevant due to the huge fan support of the new Disney Mandalorian show. This would engage users and would be a fun, nostalgic way to get to your destination.

Can’t see all routes on apple car play
When viewing route options, I can only select the first two options. If there are more route options they are hidden and unable to be selected in Apple Car Play. Scrolling down is not available in the UI.

Hurricane Evacuation Routes
Example: I-95N slow moving parking lot (meaning stop and go bumper to bumper traffic) so show less congested routes north or state 20mph parking lot. Travel north or inland would be faster by staying off freeways.

Add more levels too Avoid Highway option
With the Avoid Highway option off, Waze is way too aggressive in routing to freeways. The the Avoid Highway on, all types of highways are avoided from minor to freeway. There should be additional options to Avoid Freeways, Avoid Major Highways and Freeways.
Yes, Waze is supposed to figure out the best route based on information without this level of direction, but in fact it does not, at least in some areas. These options would allow some user input based on experience in directing the routing.

2nd selected fastest route on first trip Romania to Bulgaria and the suggested route has a ferry. The ferry may travel as little as twice a day we found out on way. This is hopeless need bold alert on any such requirement cost us three hrs backtracking3 votes -
Suggestion on Live Reports (Cross Streets)
It would be nice to know the closest cross street or major cross street of the report. Currently I see only the street that the user reported it on. Some of those roads are miles long and it would help to know where so I may change my route.

PITSTOP button
The screen needs a “PITSTOP” button for rest area, gas and food stops. The continual redirection as soon as you leave the programmed route is annoying and unnecessary. You could just hit PITSTOP as you leave the route and then press it again when you return to the chosen route. You could have a color coded button to make it easier to read.

Express Lanes - Avoid Express Lanes option
A nice feature would be a setting to avoid Express Lanes, like the ones on I95 (I-95) that require the EZ-Pass. Currently the only way to do this is to enable "Avoid Toll Roads." However this makes my route avoid the tunnel or bridge that I DO want to use. Avoiding the tunnel or bridge would add 20 or more minutes to my drive.
Basically, separate out the luxury Express Lanes from toll roads and create another setting for them.

Street name covering nav line
When I plug my iPhone 11 into the car play in my car and use the app, it can be frustrating that when I come to a turning, the street name often covers the route (the blue line) so I can't see the turning easily. I suggest fixing it so the street names never sit over the blue navigation line. Thanks.

Commute Mode
I would love to be able to set up a commute with stops. Maybe ask a few questions like:
How many stops do you have on your commute (kid drop off, passenger pick up for carpooling, coffee)?
Does your destination ever change? Be able to have different commute profiles.
Then ask how long you are at each stop normally.
If it is the normal route, then it will only warn you of traffic slows or hazards.
Bonus- If I am running late, set up someone to notify, husband or daycare provider ect.

Waze needs a 4th option under Sounds - "Directions Only"
Waze has always talked a little too much and now it's talking even more. They need a 4th setting under "Voice and Sound". Right now, we get Off, Alerts Only, and On. We need one between Alerts Only and On called "Directions Only". I don't want to know about railroad tracks. I don't want to know that my route is 23 minutes faster than some other route. I don't want to know that my route is similar to other routes. Just give me the fastest route, take me there, and talk as little as possible while keeping…

A "No good routes found" alert.
Let's you know your drive will be worse than expected, maybe suggest a better time to leave and delay the drive.
For those circumstances when traffic along usual route is much heavier than normal, (for whatever reason). If I know all routes are congested, I may relax and stop trying to out-think Waze and find a better route. Or delay my departure if traffic is forecasted to clear up.

Add a NEW 'Police Notice' flag for the "MIDDLE" of the road!
On Waze, when flagging a Police, there's currently a 'POLICE' flag, for the current road side you're on; 'OTHER SIDE' flag, when the Police is on the other side of the road; but NO 'MIDDLE' (of the road) flag!
There are many instances where Police park (or hide) on the middle of a two-way route or major roadway.

Bring back the report list on iOS!!
Please bring back the list of reports on iOS!!! I used to use that option all of the time, to decide which route I was going to take or see what I needed to watch out for, before I set out. Now I can only see what's going on when i set a route in the car to leave, which defeats my purpose of analyzing which way to go. I like to do this before i set out. Alternative sound alert for major turnings/junctions
It would be good to have an alert option for just major junctions or turning on your route that are coming up.
For example, when going down a motorway or other route that you have driven previously in the past/know, you don't need constant turn by turn directions, just alerts for "getting off the motorway at junction 11" or "turn right" at a big roundabout etc.

Erase the path behind you.
When in a route, sometimes the path behind you get mixed with the path you are following. The path behind you should not be marked or it should be erased as you drive.
