Broom car icons
I may be breaking the statute of secrecy here... But I would really like to be able to select my favourite brooms, instead of muggle cars. Preferrably, I would like to select my Firebolt, but if that’s not possible, I’m fine flying my Nimbus 2000 too. Thanks!

Tagging my saved places in a map view
Tagging my saved places in a map view in addition to the currently existing list view:
✓ The reserved places are shown in a growing list.
✓ Currently the list is sorted alphabetically and I am obliged to remember what the place is called on the map or what name I gave it.
✓ Suggests giving the option to display them also in map view and to choose.
from her✓ This will streamline finding the saved place you are looking for.
✓ Good luck

Map update
For some reason, certain accidents in Columbus, Georgia are labeled as happening in Phenix City, Alabama. Must be some sort of glitch.

Better support for intents
GMM supports many more intents than Waze, and what waze does support does not always work.
For example, Waze can handle http://maps.google.com/maps, but, Google's web maps now uses just http://maps.google.com/
And you don't handle https:// at all.The geo:lat, lng intent seems to occasionally work. But not consistently. Didn't try geo:?q=... types of intents.
And of course, there are all sorts of country specific maps.google.* variations that aren't handled. Don't know if Android intents handle wild cards or not. It appears that GMM explicitly lists everything.

Save a text once and search for it everytime
Scenario : Sometimes I want to search for the same coffee shop chain from my current location.
For example: I want to search for Starbucks everytime i go somewhere. But I dont want to use voice search or I dont want to type the entire text. But I want to just save the text “Starbucks” without saving any of its specific locations.
So this will help me to just search for “Starbucks” with minimum taps (mostly 2). Go to ‘Favourites and click ‘Starbucks’ and then it gives me a list of all the starbuck near my current location. This…

Cars with priority to be shown on the map
Hi,
would be very nice if you can start cooperation with ER, FD, police departments and try to place some sort of tracker into their cars. they can share information about their position and it can help to
speed up their road.then it would be very useful for all drivers staying in the crossroad to know and see in Waze from which direction ER, FD, police is coming . then they can free up the way for that kind of cars and there will be not so much chaos on the crossing once they need to pass around.

Favoris / liste d'adresse

Neighborhood Watch Function!
It would really help if you could build some sort of neighborhood watch function Waze.So if you can make a group on Waze with other users (limited or unlimited) users would have to accept an invitation, administrators could be assigned.
Then, when Neighborhood Watch Mode is activated all users on the group could see where the other users are driving.
Nice functions that can be added is when Neighborhood mode is active and suspect activity is identified, the user could notify other active users at that time with a press of a button.

Doctor Who Theme (TARDIS icon for driving and TARDIS icon for mood)
I would like a Doctor Who Theme of some sort. I think a TARDIS icon for driving and a TARDIS icon for mood would both be great and popular additions.

Make a Dynamic view that is 2D top-down but switches to 3D when following a route
The map view options currently include three settings: 3D (the "over the shoulder" view), 2D (top-down), and "Auto" which really seems to just be 3D all the time.
The "auto" setting should have the map set to be 2D when you're not following a route, sort of like the mini-map you see in some video games. Have it switch to 3D when you're following a route. This is the sort of behavior you see with dedicated GPS devices like the kind by TomTom and Garmin.

6 votesGreat news! Using Google Assistant to report on the map is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Quicker Hazard Reporting
There still needs to be a quicker way to report hazards. The long tap, swipe up or voice reports don't save much time and are still very distracting while driving. Perhaps a generic 'hazard reported' button on the home map? That would just be one click and at least alert other drivers that there is a hazard of aome sort. If other drivers have more time, they can then give a more detailed report.

Sort out a way where people can NOT post fake pins. Over 300 fake pins posted in Western Australia this morning!!!!
People who register on Waze must be a verified account. Drivers are posting fake pins. Slowly this app will become useless. Over 300 FAKE pins posted today. Not fair for tow truck drivers wasting time due to silly competition.

Track my car's vitals; build database for community benefits
This is a big idea, no small undertaking I know. I'd like to combine my GPS app with the functionality of an app like Gas Cubby, which tracks my MPG at every fill-up and alerts me when my car is due for maintenance.
Here's how I envision it:
-I tell Waze what car I drive: ex: 2003 Saturn Vue, 6 cyl, automatic
-Every time I stop to fill up, I tell Was
a) What my current odometer reads (waze should know how many miles I've driven in theory, but this is a checksum validation in case I forgot to open…4 votes -
pre-select most commonly used updates into nav screen buttons
Have one main button on the navigation map screen that when pressed dynamically separates into 6 buttons (3 on the left [upper corner, midlevel, lower corner], 3 on the right). This would cut down on the clutter when an update is not needed.
Allow the user to customize these buttons to their most commonly used ones. For me, they would be car on the shoulder, heavy traffic, and hidden cop. If the update was on my side of the road, I would customize these to the right 3 buttons. If they were on the opposite side, I could customize these…
