select locations to avoid
Click a specific location you want to avoid (dangerous, long light, frequent traffic, personal reasons, etc). If you can click to add a stop to a route, you should be able to select a location and say Avoid this (Just for this trip, Save to un-favorites list, or Always avoid). Currently I have to add a fake stop to trick Waze into rerouting around a known bad spot.

Police camera ≠ police report
In some countries, it is not allowed to drive with an app giving the exact locations of police cameras (automatic speed control), waze intelligently gives the area where the police cameras are (very useful alert and the utilization of waze is allowed).
But to fight the concept of the "area" most of drivers post a police location each time they pass beside a police camera (I have observed it, a police camera in Paris France is reported every 15 min, sometime several times).
Consequence : waze gives the exact location of each police cameras everyday, every time.

My account was completely wiped out this morning. I use this EVERY DAY. My history gone. Miles gone. Favorites gone.
Give a notification and give an option to work on changes later, not as I am trying to get to work. Why was my account wiped out?

Being able to add more than 1 work place
I think it would be nice if we could add more than 1 work place. A lot of people have more than 1 job to stay afloat these days. You of course can add it to your favorites but I like the home & work coming up as default.

Better and easier directions for saving favorite destinations.
Your directions for saving favorite destinations are impossible to follow. Frustrating and useless. Please improve and simplify.

Gas stations
The gas price section is a nice idea, but when I tried to enter prices from a location, I was not interested in choosing a favorite brand (I dislike all oil companies in general). More appropriate would be the fuel type: unleaded regular, diesel, non-oxigenated, whatever (my favorite). Maybe partnering with Gas Buddy would be a good idea.

Feature Request Feedback
Many of the feature requests have many votes, or multiple postings for the same feature requests. It appears that people really do want some things very much. However, the feature request for some items seems to be un-monitored.
There are a number of issues, which would normally be easily resolved with some minor programming tweaks that never seem to be addressed, either in the responses, or the program revisions.
Example: Favorites sorting - the same general feature request has been posted multiple times with post dates going back to 2010.

Count Votes
How many votes are needed to encourage Waze to improve their app? As far as I can tell, as far back as 2016, people have been requesting and voting for favorites to be alphabetized and yet still nothing? At least a response would help to know if anyone at Waze has even looked into it.

Use my location and 100% real gas
(1) When adding a favorite or home or work, have a "use my location" feature just in case the address is not known.
(2) Add a checkmark where users can show other drivers gas station that have 100% real or no ethanol in their gas.6 votes -
Add a 2nd Work address
I have two (2) suggestions ......
1. add a 2nd work address. With so many Wazers working two jobs, being able to enter in a 2nd address makes commuting to one or the other or between the two, so much easier. No searching through "Favorites" to find the 2nd address and best route- Have the ability to confirm that it's the passenger wanting to add/alter a location, destination or search. Driving with a passenger down the freeway and having them perform a new search or to add an address still requires the driver to pull over and stop,…

Save a route
I have a specific back roads route I like to use when travelling that I would like to save. I can't find this feature in Waze, but would like to assign it to a favorite and share with my family and friends.

Saving friends on the app
I want to offer to users the option to save friends or relatives for example if I want to drive to a friend I could save the friend's address and then I will click on the friend's name and I could drive to him or i could save favorit places

Proximity routing for Home/Work
Many people use waze on a daily basis as a way to avoid traffic. We know how to get home or to work, and sometimes our work places have multiple entrances. These entrances don't always trigger waze that you have arrived, so even once I'm in the building, suddenly I hear waze trying to route me through the office hallways from my pocket.....
A new feature called "proximity routing" that the user can enable for their "home/work" locations would take care of this problem. Once the driver gets close, waze would indicate you have arrived and go into sleep mode.…

Emoji marks for favorite locations
I like to mark locations that I use often, locations that I want to visit, and places that I visited. And these locations marked with different type of marks. For example; if I visited a place and liked it I put heart emoji, if it's my home I want to put home emoji. These emojis will display on the map all the time. I'd like to be able to send a single set of directions to a friend or contact through Waze
Enhancement Request
New functionality requestAdd functionality to send a 'single set of directions' to another Waze user.
Sender and receiver would both have to be set be friends in Waze.
Receiver would have to set a checkbox at the individual contact level (phase 2) or for all contacts (phase 1).
The directions would be delivered into a delivery queue or directly exported to receiver's favorites list (consider visual queue to distinguish/identify the new favorite.1 voteThanks for your feedback. Allow user to define Favorite Routes and choose to use them
Allow the user to compare Favorite Routes to a destination (eg. Work) against quicker routes, show time difference and allow user to choose. This could be enhanced further by allowing the user to define a time difference (eg. 5mins) such that the favorite route is presented even if there are faster routes within the defined (5min) window. I am yet to come across a GPS or application that offers this functionality

Option to change order of search category buttons
I appreciate the category buttons when searching, but they are fixed in place. It would be nice to have the option to change the order of the preloaded search category buttons so I do not have to tap "more" to get to a specific category for search.
For example, I have no need to search for "groceries" but it appears in the first few category buttons. I frequently use the "gas" category search but I have to make additional taps and divert more of my attention to get to other categories via the "more" button.

Integration with AAIdrive
As the author of AAIdrive, an open-source app that adds some custom apps to the legacy BMW iDrive system, my users keep asking for integration with their favorite apps, and Waze is very popular indeed! Is there any possibility to integrate either the hazards list or perhaps a full Waze experience?
