  1. In Landscape mode, e.g. Speed camera alerts will block the speed indicator

    In Landscape mode, either move the speed indicator or change the alert. When an alert pops up, the speed indicator gets blocked.

  2. Display the maximum speed for speed traps

    It would be a great help to display the maximum speed allowed at speed traps. I don't know elsewhere, but in Brazil you have several fixed/stationary ones with a fixed maximum speed limit.

  3. alerts hide the permitted speed

    When a warning approaches, be it a speed camera 300 meters away, the warning comes on and stays on for that distance, obscuring the correct speed on the map. I don't know if I'm exceeding the speed limit or approaching the camera at the speed limit.It happens with any alert (I have images.)

  4. Add average speed trap indicator (bar: from begin till end) when using phone in landscape mode.

    Hello. Long time waiting, but no changes. Can you add average speed trap indicator, when phone on landscape mode? Because using a lot time when traveling on landscape phone position. Thanks.

  5. Ability to switch speed/speed limit display.

    The speed limit is the critical information. Currently it is the smaller of the two shown. Often, on a phone, the speed limit is too hard to read.

  6. In australia, average speed zones are shown in some states (Queensland), and not others (New South Wales). Why?

    In Australia, average speed zones are shown as a progressive bar on the left hand side of the screen in some states (Queensland), but not in other states (New South Wales). Why?

  7. Red Light Camera Audio Alerts

    I get no audio alerts for Red Light Camera intersections. I want this audio alert for EVERY Red Light Camera intersection. I live in the Chicago suburbs and these intersctions are everywhere. I coiuld not find how to get this audio alert. Please add this IMMEDIATELY!!!

    Great news! The Red light camera alerts is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

  8. Ability to change the default tone for camera alerts

    Can we have the ability to change the default tone for red light (or all) camera alerts.

    The red light camera tone is a beep and the speed camera tone is an audible loud verbal warning.

    It would be really helpful if the user could change the beep to the audible warning because the beep is very easily missed, whereas the audible "speed camera" really grabs your attention.

  9. Speed limit

    Please allow us to remove the digital speedometer, and instead show a much larger speed limit for the road! The current speed limit sign is very small on some displays, and since every car already has a speedometer, I would like the option to remove it from the app and just show a large icon for speed limit only

  10. Security camera voice alert irrespective of type of camera ahead

    The app should notify irrespective of being within the limit because the speed reflecting on the app is 3km lesser than the real at all the given times.
    Also, the app doesn't even make a distinctive alert sound when there's a camera ahead.

    I request you to please integrate the verbal notification for a security camera irrespective of the type of camera installed and irrespective of whether the vehicle is under the speed limit coz at a lot of times due to many reasons like conversing while driving, thinking, managing kids etc. and it skips out of the mind.

  13. Audible Alert for Fixed Speed Cameras

    Every Sat Nav device that I have ever owned HAS an audible (sound) alert to speed cameras. This is because most drivers keep their eyes on the road most of the time, not on their Sat Nav. I have done some basic programming in the past and know that adding a PING (sound) to something that happens in a software program is the EASIEST thing that a developer could possibly do. So, WHY on earth are Waze developers ignoring this important feature, when so many people ask for it? Just flashing up Speed Camera in words at the bottom…

  15. Make the speed limit and speed bigger

    The speed limit and current speed are so small on the screen you can’t really see it when glancing - needs to be a similar size as the one on Google maps abs Apple Maps and make it so it’s easily readable

  16. Enhance speed display color scheme

    It would be easier to assess speed with more informative color coding:

    White = below speed limit
    Green = speed limit
    Yellow = between speed limit and user-defined "when to show alert" speed
    Red = exceeding user-defined "when to show alert" speed

    Keep current warning with briefly displayed larger speed limit reminder

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

  18. work on the road with new speed limit

    3) each work on the road (construction site) always has a different speed limit (there is a speed reduction and ... often a speed camera nearby): the wazer must be able to easily enter the new speed limit.

  20. Speed Limit Change Alert

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a voice alert of speed limit changes. I am on the highway all the time and the speed limit constantly changes. It would be helpful if the voice would say “Speed limit has increased” or “Speed limit has decreased”. I got a ticket because I thought I was still in a 75mph speed zone and I didn’t realize it changed to 55mph. Yes the image of speed limit changes accordingly but a nice voice alert would be extremely BENEFICIAL!! Thank you!!!
