1. Add a new UR Issue filter "Last comment by" - "Not Me"

   Please add a new UR filter in the "Last comment by" drop-down - called "Not me".

   In conjunction with the "Comment by me" filter, this will then allow me to see all URs that I have commented on in the past, but I wasn't the last person to reply. This will include the reporter and other editors.

   Currently, if I select Reporter, I cannot see URs that other editors have last commented on. If I select All, I will see them, but also all of my reports that I was the last commenter on.

2. Low Bridge indicator on map editor

   Problem I see there is no low bridge indicator on map editor if it could be added with height restrictions ...it would be a big problem solver for us truck drivers. Who drive around the cities all the time. I my self have tried to navigate around cities .with low bridges.. and it's no fun ...you truckies will know what I mean

3. Enable merging residential places

   Today we cannot directly merge two residential places (or merge a residential place into a public one). There is a workaround: convert residential places to public ones, save them, merge, then convert back to residential if needed. Why not allow merging the direct way?

4. Add ability to mark Map Comments as critical with increased visibility

   Please add a way to mark some Map Comment (MC) points as "critical" (as opposed to "informational"), with increased visibility. Instead of a small white dot, for example, you could display a slightly larger black-and-white or red-and-white bullseye. You could perhaps even add (gentle!) animation, such as gradual pulsing.

   Why do I suggest this? Several times now, I have encountered oversights by editors who seemed to have missed important information in a nearby MC Point. These well-intentioned but uninformed edits degraded the driver experience until they were discovered and repaired. I've asked around and have come to three conclusions:

   (1) MC Points are not sufficiently visible to be sure of getting editors' attention.

   (2) As a result of MC Points' poor visibility, some editors choose to create MC Areas instead of MC Points. But MC Areas are more intrusive than MC Points, so the proliferation of MC Areas degrades the editing experience and encourages editors to turn off the Comment layer more often.

   3) Some MC Points provide less-important background information, for example the location of a mile marker that might be used by emergency services to identify that position on the roadway. It would be distracting for these background MC Points to be given high visibility, thus the need to differentiate between "critical" and "informational" MC Points.

   Increasing the visibility of critical MC Points would improve their chances of being noticed and respected by visiting editors. It would also make MC Points an attractive alternative to MC Areas, leading to more judicious use of MC Areas.

5. copy/paste for turn closures / RTC on turns

   new turn closures feature in WME:
   We need a copy/paste feature for turn closures

   If you have to setup more than one turn closure, you have to enter description, start/stop date, start/stop time and MTE every single time.
   On a closed segment next to a T junction you have to set 4 turn closures, on a + junction 6 times.

   Why is it better to close e.g. 4 turns than the segment?
   If the segment is closed Waze will route you the node that is closer to your destination. Maybe this is the closed junction you don't wanna go through.
   If you use turn closures, Waze will route you into the segment from the open side.

6. Parking lot type (motorcycles-only, cars-only, both)

   It's very common, at least in Colombia, parking lots only for motorcycles and it's really dissapointing to arrive at a parking lot suggested by Waze, and realize that it's a motorcycle-only parking lot and you're driving a car.
   Please add a new property in WME to choose the type of parking lot: motorcycles-only, cars-only, or both, and add a new feature in app to filter by parking lot type.

7. Navigate to place point by address

   As we've added more parking lot roads to shopping centers wazers have become accustomed to being directed to a specific store when they search by name. As a result, they are reporting navigation errors when navigating by address results in a stop point on the road in front of the stopping center. This is particularly bad when the route has to circle around the shopping center to reach the house number.

   To work around this, we've taken to adding both a PP and a RPP when a store in a shopping center has a unique address.

   It would be great if we could check a box when editing a PP to indicate that waze should enable navigation by both name and address.

   As we've added more parking lot roads to shopping centers wazers have become accustomed to being directed to a specific store when they search by name. 8. Default new users in US and UK to Imperial units

   Since the wonderful new Edit Suggestions tool has been released, we have seen many (too many) suggestions from well-meaning users in the US to change speed limits to values like 16 or 31 mph. Obviously these users were set by default to use metric units without realizing it.

   If a user tries to edit using the WME for the first time in a country that uses Imperial speed limits (which I believe is only the US, UK, Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, and the Cayman Islands), their units should automatically be set to Imperial by default.

9. Add "Serial Number" field to Speed Cameras in WME

   Currently, when adding or editing a speed camera in the WME, there’s no way to associate it with its official registration or identification. I suggest adding a “Serial Number” field to the speed camera settings.

   Having this field would allow editors to input the official serial number of each speed enforcement device, as issued by the government or regulatory agency. This is extremely valuable because:

   • It enables verification and validation of the camera against official databases from transportation or metrology authorities.
   • It improves accuracy when identifying missing, moved, or deactivated cameras.
   • It helps prevent duplicate or outdated hazards, ensuring only active and valid speed cameras remain on the map.

   In many countries (such as Brazil), each speed camera is registered under a unique serial number publicly available for consultation. Including this field would make the WME more powerful and reliable for editors and partners alike.

10. [Request] Map Comments Expiration Notification

    When a Map Comment (MC) has been entered and is nearing its expiration (2 weeks in advance or 1 week in advance), notify and/or place a note in the Feed of the expiring MC.

    This would allow the editor to verify if the MC is still needed, extend it, and/or reconnect road segments where a long-term project may have warranted segment disconnects instead of long-term RTCs.

    If roads were disconnected and the project is nearing completion, this would allow the editor to reconnect the segments and then add RTCs so routing could occur immediately upon the completion of the project instead of waiting on a tile update.

11. Parking Lot Roads - Differentiate Aisles & Roads

    It would be nice to have a way of setting PLRs to be able to use speed data (versus a set speed) while having the same penalty settings (i.e., the road has no penalty between the two PLR settings). This would be useful in large parking lots area such as sporting venues and malls, where set speed is fine for aisles and minor roads but speed data would be useful for finding the fastest entrance/exit on it's higher volume roads. With the set PLR speed, you are almost always getting the shortest route of PLRs, even if that lot exit is much busier and slower (or if say the right turn lane out the lot is fast but a left turn is slower than using a different lot exit).

    This could be a checkbox on PLR segment settings, or potentially a new road type (with the current one named "Parking Lot Aisle" and the new speed data type taking on the "Parking Lot Road" name).

13. Increase the number of things that can be modified at country management level.

    For example each of the road types creation, could be limited to an editor of a certain level.
    Similarly, the walking tracks, railroads, cameras, etc.

14. Add closed map suggestions count to profile page

    It'd be great if you could track how many map suggestions you have closed. You can already see your closed UR, PUR, and MP counts on your profile page so it would be great if closed map suggestions could also be added.

15. More informative options for the GPS layer colours (colour by speed or age)

    Currently, the arrows on the GPS layer are coloured by direction. It would be useful for editors to be able to choose between that and at least two other options: colour by speed, to help editors understand historical traffic patterns and troubleshoot routing decisions; and colour by age, to help editors spot roads that may have been recently realigned or closed.

16. Include temporary settings like HOV route selection in UR information

    Relatively recently we got the ability to see some app settings in user reports. What we can't see are temporary settings like whether or not an HOV route was selected. It would be helpful to surface any information available that does not compromise anonymity.

17. Copy button for segment/place address

    Very often you have to search info for address while editing maps and it could be made a lot easier by adding a copy button to copy address on properties panel. Or maybe 2 buttons, 1st for just the street name, 2nd for whole address.

18. Rearrange RoadShields by moving the boxes with the mouse.

    It would be really great, if we could move RS on WME. It's really tedious when you have to delete RS and search again just to change the order of them. How great would it be if we could rearrange the different RoadShield boxes by moving them with the mouse.

    As payment method for parking lots & customer parking we need a disc parking option,

20. Add Driving Restriction option to enable Toll flag for specific date / time / vehicle settings

    Driving Restrictions currently has Allowed, Toll Free, Prohibited
    But we also need an option to explicitly set Toll Enabled

    We have a road that operates as a Toll road for all vehicles 6-9am but then changes to not a Toll road (also for all vehicles) from 9:01am to 5:59am the following day.

    We can't use the Toll Free option as there isn't a subset of vehicles that are not charged a Toll during this time period.

    Also setting a Toll Free period 9:01 to 5:59 has no impact as the driving restriction is only checked during the hours its active and has no impact outside that period.

    The Toll Flag checkbox can only be used to apply a 24/7 two way Toll Flag to the segment, and can't be used combined with a Toll Free restriction to enable the Toll Flag during 6-9 and then the Toll Free restriction removing the Flag outside that,

    Therefor to get the Toll Flag to apply to all vehicles during a specific time period we need another option as the Toll Free doesn't cover our situation, (it assumes there will always be a subset of vehicles that aren't charged a Toll for the period)

    Driving Restrictions currently has Allowed, Toll Free, Prohibited
    But we also need an option to explicitly set Toll Enabled

    We have a road that operates as a Toll road for all vehicles 6-9am but then changes to not a Toll road (also for all vehicles) from 9:01am to 5:59am the following day.

    We can't use the Toll Free option as there isn't a subset of vehicles that are not charged a Toll during this time period.

    Also setting a Toll Free period 9:01 to 5:59 has no impact as the driving restriction is only checked during the hours its active… more
